Lots of “manly men” have disdain for cats. It’s interesting how much the attitude changes when you’re talking to a group of farmers.
To farmers, cats are a farm’s security force. I’m not in a cynical mood either, I say expression. That comes in the form of meaningful art that was been developed through hard work and time, but with valuing expression and denigrating it also comes tawdry tumblr accounts and intsagram with posing pics.

I really don’t understand many things about politics, economics or whatever. I just saw my grandparents today (53 years married, many children/grandchildren) and I saw real happiness on them. But in their time, they had values, people knew who they are… What we have today!? Anyway, I don’t know why I’m complaining about that in a man blog… I don’t know the real point of this blog, but some posts here makes me think about it. Makes me remember that I miss something that I will never have/had in this new world I’m living.

women killed the family. Get over it. I was the most family of family men and I was so abused in divorce I was driven to the edge of suicide. I tell all young western men NEVER get married. NEVER have children. I tell them if they really want such to leave the west and settle in Germany or places further east. But that is likely only an interim measure.
When you have men who were so family oriented as me openly, publicly, in my own name, prepared to give such advice in books to young men? You know just how badly men are treated in divorce. Here, you can read my second book. This is what I am telling young men. It has had about 5,000 downloads now.
By the way? I disowned my former children. Their children will never see their grand father. They will never witness what you saw today. Why? Because one greedy selfish woman wanted to steal from a good man and EVERYONE helped her do it.
You seem to have no idea of the backlash coming the way of young women. It is going to be very bad.

I confess that I’m quite lost and insecure to answer you. You are a man with far more experiences, while I’m a girl of 90s generation. We live in different countries (I’m from South America and you from somewhere in North, I guess). But I still want to tell you what you made me think…
I mean, the presence of my father was (and is) really important to me and my brother. He and my mother had many problems during their marriage too, but even though my mom resisted to divorce, because in deep she knew that my father between me and my brother is more important than any privilege she could get from a divorce. My country valued more the family in the time my mom was raised and educated though.
Anyway, these bad changes in modern world and woman is not just bad for good man. Women like your ex, are destroying good men that good women want to marry. I still hope to build a family one day and raise my kids with their father around. Could be hard to fight for this, because our modern society doesn’t give many changes for girl who has dreams like mine, or family men like you. We just can’t know who is bad or who is good, cause these people are lost between so many people like your ex…

Very perceptive observations, Natalia. Unfortunately, a variety of factors have conspired to kill respect for the family in Western societies today. Now, these societies only value individual pleasure and whims. The results of this destructive selfishness are clear when we see the shallow and vapid materialism which surrounds us today.

Well, I just don’t really get for what these factors are working for. What I have in my mind is that it was the societies which valued family, built progress. Now I just see many countries are developing (like mine) others not (some in Europe), but all them has a population getting more empty and degenerate.
