Return of Kings has decided to add a regular podcast to its lineup of features. Hosted by myself, this will allow an entire new dimension to the ROK experience.

In this first episode, there’s a brief news roundup before discussion about Reggie Yates, the BBC, Sweden’s immigration policies, and some weightlifting advice for older men.

  1. I almost got an erection when I read it was available on itunes……but then I got blueballs when I saw I have to wait a few days. I operate a commercial vehicle for about 12 hours a night and love to listen to podcasts, and RoK will definitely be one of my new favorites.

      1. Go to the nearest truck stop and get one of those red ‘trucker’s knobs’ that bolts onto the rim of the steering wheel. Get that one handed steering action going. ”whew-whew-whew” . . no, please don’t take that seriously, but those knobs are useful in tight spots.

  2. Perfect commuting material. Great work on the new ROK features so far in 2016 (5 days in, no less!)- podcasts, local meet-ups. Growing community.

  3. This is great! As I’ve gotten busier and busier, I’ve been listening to more audio (audible, podcasts, etc). I thought my retention might be better through reading but I’m finding it’s no different. The personal touch is an added benefit and I have no doubt you will reach a broader audience. This is an exciting move! Congratulations on this step!

  4. I’m at 13:32 and this seems to be a well done podcast. It has a formal quality about it but not stuffy. It’s intelligent. I usually don’t listen to podcasts but this one has me engaged. Nice work!

  5. Very cool. Nice start to what looks to be a good supplement to the articles. I realize you have tons of things you’ll add. One idea would be to interview a ROK writer via skype or facetime so they can expand on their article and elaborate further. Nicely done.

  6. Hi Roosh and Quintus, first time commenter, longer time reader in the sphere. Smart direction for ROK. Look forward to listening.

  7. A suggestion, but I understand that this can be quite a bit more work, would be a transcription of the podcasts as they come out as well. This, then, makes it easier for folks who may prefer to read it, for translation purposes since you are trying to reach a global audience (I imagine), and for ease of dissemination.

  8. I agree that David Garrett deserves props.
I’ve revisited some older ROK work and a lot of the most timely articles are by Garrett.

      1. What happened to Edward Thatch? I loved his articles. His bio says he passed away suddenly. If that’s true. RIP to him.

    1. I remember a lot of articles of huge value by the guy with the jewish name, Goldenstein something? Emmanuel Goldstein ! Now that guy actually gave us an insight on how to treat women like animals..seems he extrapolated his hebrew teachings on the goyim…anyway valuable stuff.

      1. I kept getting so angry at that guy that every day at the same time I would just HATE him for about 2 minutes. 😉

    2. Billy Chubbs was the man. He broke #Gamergate and Zoe Quinn (for me anyway). Bring back Chubbs!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Wow. I just had this same idea to do an RoK podcast last night. I’d like to hear one in sort of a radio-host-and-guest type of format. Something light and humorous but tackles issues. Similar to what Gavin McInnes does.

  10. Woah, that’s a surprise! An ROK podcast is a great idea, I’ll be listening to this as soon as I get back home. Keep up the great work!

  11. One of you guys’s name actually is Clark Kent? I thought that was just an internet nickname. lol, that’s pretty sweet.
EDIT: great podcast. I especially loved the explanation about feminism in movies, and why the Aliens franchise is different from modern movies in that regard. I look forward to the next podcast! Keep it up!

  12. Good stuff guys. We need to spread the “Red Pill ” word in as many forms as possible. Podcasts will help with this.
Also have you heard of the West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle fined $7000 today for flirting with a female reporter….just google “cricketer fined” for the full story. Look forward to the next podcast.

  13. Wonderful Quintus. Missing link for ROK and RVF think tank is now part of a stronger chain… and the.site gets better.

  14. I never listen to podcasts as I have a hearing problem. Can a text version be available somewhere please?

  15. Excellent idea. Are you going to have other writers and guests on the show at some point – regular and guest ROK writers, perhaps? Maybe some prominent commenters?

  16. This is a good idea, and Quintus has a good radio voice. One thing that I always appreciate in a youtube broadcast though is when there’s a menu of topics in the description with a timestamp so you can just skip to the bit your interested in.

  17. the young and unaqcuianted with the red pill, should be introduced to the work of a former swiss rock band.
check out one of their lyrics:
    t’s all around
    A solid wall of lies
    Designed on massive scales
    Still, we endure and tolerate
Because we know we cannot stop the fall
Because we know it’s getting worst day after day
    Look at the world
    We’ve got nothing to preserve
    In this hollow life
    We are broken deep within
    We are destined
    To be expendable products
    To emulate cheap happiness
    Like zealots, we imitate
    We do our part
    Secluded in vain deceptions
    But soon glory fades
And there is nothing left but suffering
    Look at the world
    We’ve got nothing to preserve
    In this hollow life
    We are broken deep within
    Look at the world
    We’ve got nothing to preserve
    In this hollow life
    We are broken deep within
    Our god is dead
Since we have been proclaimed divine
We have become but empty shells
No faith could feed or sustain us
We drift from place to place
    Sunken in miserable dreams
We feel no love, we feel no hate
Then face the heart of destruction
    Look at the world
    We’ve got nothing to preserve
    In this hollow life
    We are broken deep within
    Look at the world
    We’ve got nothing to preserve
    In this hollow life
    We are broken deep within

  18. Hollywood films are cultural propaganda, so they do need to be taken seriously. Star Wars is very significant in these terms considering it is the most successful movie series in history. I wonder what my niece and nephew will take away with them after seeing it? It’s good to be a beta male, and constantly live in a friend zone with a woman. Also, becoming successful for a woman means she doesn’t have to earn things like men, because they are just born better at everything. That is my guess anyway.

    1. Yeah, but what happens when your niece realizes that she’s not just better at everything?

      1. Exactly, and that’s where affirmative action comes in, because she isn’t good at everything however she is a woman and if given a free pass she still get what she does not deserve.

        1. Let’s put aside your niece, because, I’m sure she’s great. But, in my experience, women aren’t all the great in general. I’m more concerned about the boys. I think this is a huge mind fuck for them on top of all the other deliberate damage society is doing to them. Think about it. Whether its star wars or tv, everything is telling them they’re inferior. Meanwhile they have to hear that its all about “equality” from the same people who declare them to be inferior? And then, when they finally do something physical they see that they’re not inferior, in fact, quite superior. And all this is happening when these poor boys are developing too. Its fucking evil.

  19. He makes a really good and rather chilling point about “star wars”. That movie, the more I think about it, is a smack in the face to not men, so much, but to boys. From what I understand, Hon Solo, a main boyhood hero for my generation, and his “horse” or hotrod, the Millennium Falcon have been cultural appropriated by some girl. He dies and she takes over. Its like that fucking teacher that banned boys from playing with legos and then making the only girls play with them. Indeed, as Quintus said, its about projecting this idea that girls are just naturally better at everything then boys. How, calculating and evil that truly is. Its literally another impediment needlessly put on boys with the intent to handicap them. And why? So…so the fucking girls feel good about themselves? Or can now have the right “conditions” to become CEO’s? Whaaah? You mean, if only we cut down boys then girls can finally flourish and then it will be obvious that girls are better than boys? Never mind the ethics for a moment, if you have to cut someone down to make you look better, its not fucking legitimate! And, if we’re so concerned as a society about feelings what of the feelings of boys today? Is anyone connecting the dots between how a boy is going to process how everything around him says he’s inferior and when he, for instance, actually competes in something physical sees that he’s actually stronger and better than the girls? What a mind fuck!

    1. I still haven’t seen it yet but here’s an Intel report : My sister took her two kids (little girl age 7, little boy age 9) to see it…my niece LOVED it, my nephew was pretty ‘blah’ — now keep in mind, when Disney bought Marvel & Lucasfilm, the entire stated idea was to ‘balance out’ the fact that Disney had properties little girls went nuts over like the various Disney Princesses (Frozen, etc) and Marvel/Star Wars was meant to get young boys ‘hooked’ — but that’s NOT happening because Jar Jar Abrams decided to give us a Mary Sue that can do everything while the guys just stand around with a stupid look on their face.

      1. Which makes you really wonder…its like “hey lets get more boys hooked”. “Okay, ideas?” “I got one, lets make sure the females assume all the male archetypes and make fools out of the males”. I wonder the same thing with advertising. We all know women are the impulse buyers but men are still 1/2 the population and 1/2 the consumers and still have plenty of money. Yet, advertisers and companies portray there would-be customers with contempt? Hey buy are product you stupid, dumb, inferior, asshole. ???

  20. I’m listening to it now. It’s okay but I wish there was more than just one guy talking. I want to feel like I’m listening to a discussion

  21. I like the idea of a RoK podcast, although, and this is no dig at QC, I feel this is a bit too dry for the RoK audience. QC is intelligent, scholarly, wise, and delivers content in a very informative and straight forward fashion, but when I think of RoK I think of it being more edgy, fun, “sexy” etc. I know those adjectives make me sound like a marketing chode from the early 2000’s, but it needs to be more casual and have a bit more attitude. Having other speakers would help too.
Granted I understand you want to be taken seriously so I’m not saying it should be silly and overtly sexual and “PUA” content laden, but just have a bit more action to it. I think of CMQ’s podcast and how it felt a lot like just hanging out with some guys and talking about masculine redpill things.
In a nutshell, less monotonous newscasting-style delivery and more gripping and interesting fun delivery. Like a few guys hanging out in the den sipping whiskey and talking about shit that no one else will say out loud.

    1. Sort of agree. A little game in the side column would stretch the podcast, kind of like an extended variety show. During water breaks, Troy could chime in with a game tidbit for example. I listen to lengthy podcasts while driving as many do. An Alex Jones podcast has some real meat but little real game for example. That’s like a nice house without plumbing. What if you have to go? But an all game podcast would be like cooping up in the bathroom the whole time without enjoying the rest of the fine house. The mind has needs, some great and some small but pressing. A balanced podcast would have a workout tip, a game tip and majority coverage of real world perspectives.

    2. it’s the first podcast, will take a little while for them to find their funk. but they will

    3. That’s why QC will be joined by other guys for this podcast. It will help balance his tone with others who will be a bit more edgy, fun, ect.

  22. Always thought that podcasts were the big thing missing here.
AVFM hooks to a podcast which really sucks. Loud, whiny and effeminate. (makes a few good points but too mangina-esque.)
    This podcast has some dignity.

  23. I am thrilled that ROK is going to do some podcasts.
I’m even more thrilled to see Quintus hosting it. If you haven’t listened to his podcasts, I highly recommend it.
They are focused, insightful, and concise. There is no rambling.

  24. Quintis’s vocal inflections remind me of how a therapist might talk to a patient. In other words, it’s nice not having a sharp bell tone voice which gets annoying.

  25. You should hire me (or pro-bono) to voice this podcast, I have a lot of experience as a radio voice and despite the quality of the content on the podcast, whomever is presenting is the most boring voice I’ve ever heard. Write the script, by all means, but let me present.

  26. Thanks, had a listen on soundcloud. Couldn’t find it in the search option of gPodder, not sure if that is cause gPodder filters for PC stuff or something more technical with .rss feeds in soundcloud. Had put this in the survey so really cool to see it happen 🙂

  27. Some thoughts:
    1) It’s boring. Bring in at least one other person to riff off of.
    2) Knock it off with all these proprietary corporations hosting the content. Support the free web and provide an RSS feed to the original files.
    3) Meta information. This ROK page hosting each podcast episode should have information on what was covered, with time-stamps. The MP3 files (see above) should be tagged, and the physical files should be dated first, and then should have the title and some short info on the episode. I often feel transcripts aren’t really worth it, given the time needed to create them.

  28. I think another person with Quintus, or a guest speaker for a bit of it, would help. I did like the current events, then articles, then comments format.

  29. Q.C has a good radio voice, but I think the podcast needs another speaker for him to play off.
    I liked the podcast.
As for SIgourney Weaver in Aliens, she works because she is both strong and vulnerable while still remaining feminine. It also helps that Weaver is a good actress too.

  30. Listened to the podcast, good topics, multiple people are needed…. As interesting, and well thought out as it was, with just one guy, it seems to be coming from your parents basement. Either get Roosh himself, or Skype it with another author, or even someone from the comment board. Conduct some interviews with guys from the community, and try to find some more charisma for the show, and this show would be much more valuable to the movement
