How To Deal With Incompetent Women In A Technical Job

In the United States (and probably other countries) most engineering and technical feats are accomplished by teams of engineers or programmers or designers all working together under management. It is management’s job, amongst other things, to source, hire, and fire the engineering staff, so your average technical guy has absolutely no control over who his coworkers are, other than transferring departments or getting another job.

This can create some problems in the office, and often serves as a flashpoint between women in the workforce, who think they are treated unfairly due to their gender, and men who simply do not want to work with them.

It’s Because You’re Bad

As we here at ROK know, women have been trying to reinvent their role in society. Traditionally, women have been the home-makers and the child-rearers, and the men have been the breadwinners who work the dangerous, dirty jobs. From childhood on up, girls play with dolls, stay clean, and don’t learn anything technical from their fathers. While girls may do sports, any sort of technical activity in their youth is non-existent, although this is largely becoming a problem with all kids today.

Boys traditionally learn to work on cars, keep lawn care equipment running, and maintain a home. All of these things directly translate into a good background in mechanical technology upon which you can build. One of my bosses told me he always looks for co-ops that worked on a farm, because it shows problem solving in a technical environment, and, more importantly, it shows work ethic.

Girls usually don’t have any of this, and so they are more apt to have no base upon which to root their purely theoretical academic degree. This leads to no understanding of specific situations and appropriate actions to take in response. While this is a problem with many college educated people in a technical field, it’s worse with women and hipsters.

And You Think You Know Better

One of the popular tropes in industry is borrowing the Mary Sue film character type and assuming that someone just out of college will have a fresh perspective and immediately “think outside the box” and solve everyone’s problems.

“Think outside the box.” As a colleague said in a meeting, you can’t think outside the box when you don’t even know how big your box should be, or how big other peoples’ boxes are. Probably explained best by the Dunning-Kruger effect, it takes knowledge of a subject to be able to critically judge your skill in the subject.

Ignorance truly is bliss. If you don’t know how bad you are, it won’t bother you. If you can coast through a career and blame everything on gender bias, you’ve got a double win.

The Only Metric That Matters

Here’s the biggest piece of truth that I can jam in this article. Professionally, I, and any other competent engineer I know, don’t care one whit about ANY demographic aspect of any co-worker that doesn’t affect performance. If a coworker is a woman, I’ll check out her tits as a matter of course, but any sort of interest ends there even if she isn’t wearing a ring. A factory environment with 9-to-1 men to women and an HR department just waiting to pounce is no place to run game.

Other than that, the only thing that matters is how well you can do your job. Can I trust you to handle your shit and not screw me over? Can you help me when I need it so there’s a point in me helping you when you need it, or are you just a waste of resources?

A LinkedIn poll showing what percentage of men and women preferred Competence or Confidence.

I’m not paid to do a woman’s job as well as mine. Simple math explains that the amount of work is divided among the workers, and if some of the workers cannot handle their share, management will simply lump it onto the ones that can do it. Couple that with a large company so afraid of lawsuits that they will never fire anyone for lack of performance, and you end up carrying people who are taking up slots that you could have used to hire good workers.

Bad Workers Make Bad Managers

There’s only one thing that can be done with someone who is technically incompetent but not able to be fired, and that’s promote them high enough they can no longer cause any direct damage. I think this is one reason why every topic about women advancing in tech focuses on them being leaders and managers and “leaning in,” as opposed to advancing the normal way, i.e. being good at it.

Bad managers will still wreck things, but it’s like having a bad driver instead of a misfiring cylinder. The failures are bigger and take a little longer to manifest, but they’re still there, and you have to be make sure you jump clear before the crash.

Surviving In The Modern Workforce

HR demographics are a rigged game. When equality is defined as an excuse to treat men horribly in an ill-considered attempt to balance out a fictitious dystopian vision of the past for women, it is clear that men will never receive fair treatment until significant change occurs. You have to protect yourself.

If you work with a typical female technical type who thinks she knows far more than she does, the best thing to do is to disengage completely. It’s not your battle, nor your responsibility, to make sure her stuff gets done. If she doesn’t ask for help, good; don’t allow her to profit off your expertise. If she does ask, tell her that you’re happy to help, but she needs to go through management to make sure they’re good with you spending time on it. This will probably get her to back off, as she was looking for you to freebie white knight for her while she could take the credit and not look stupid.

Women hate each other.

If you’re told to work with her, attempt to do so. If she rebuffs you (and she will), document this with your boss. “I offer to help every day, but she simply won’t listen.”

Now, if you have to work FOR a female manager who is clueless, you have to hoe a very careful row. You need to strike a balance between being knowledgeable so that she can rely on you, but not be seen as a threat. This is done by doing your homework ahead of time, knowing much more about the topic at hand than she does, and having one-on-one meetings ahead of big meetings so that you can get her approval ahead of time. Note, this meetings should be out of earshot, but within eyesight, of others unless you want to run Seduce Your Boss game.

I’m not a manager, so I don’t have advice for having one of these wonders working for YOU. Arrange a transfer if you can.

Conclusion

Office politics are not a good game to play, and this goes double when any sort of PC or tolerant person is involved, and triple when that person can’t compete normally due to inadequacy. Stay as far away as you can, and document everything when you can’t.

  1. In my situation, 18 years ago, I documented everything. When it came time, I presented to the board my proof that is was not my fault things went so wrong.
It also helped that I uncovered her embezzlement. That was a added plus and not something you can rely on.
    She was fired. I survived.
Then she was replaced with a gay libtard that was even worse.

    1. Second that 100%. Keep everything in writing and up to date. Messages and a daily log of yout activities. Even a few lines will do.

    2. When I worked in academia part time when I was a student, there was a fag who was hired to act as an advisor for systematic reviews because he had so much experience in them. He chucked a hissyfit when my boss questioned one of his protocols and gave an ultimatum that it was his way or no way. They immediately let him go, the moron hadn’t even signed any paperwork yet so they didn’t even technically fire him, they just decided against hiring him.

      1. You are lucky. Before I left academia I was in the humanities. They would have given that fag an honorary doc and tenured his ass. I am so glad I escaped.

    3. These people are getting hired based on some Idiot-PC quota instead of actual qualifications. It’s totally insane.

  2. I have a personal (and unprovable) theory about this issue. In my experience, women in technical jobs are not really interested in technical stuff (unless very few exceptions), but in the “prestige” linked to technical jobs. That’s not the kind of psychological profile that makes a good worker or a good professional.
In comparison, the most intelligent (and balanced) women I know are either working in medicine or in lab investigation (most of times related to biology).

    1. Every “strong independent woman ” I’ve ever met is on her way to becoming an RN . You can get those for nothing .

        1. Every RN I knew had the c’s get degrees mentalality. My group during micro bio lab was all RNs , I had to do all the cultures to make sure we didn’t fail , the one I let them do was cross contaminatied . I wasn’t even premed and this was at a community college … it only got worse the more premed classes I took . A PA is something that is hard to get , you can be an RN by going to devry

        2. Not in Canada you don’t! I noticed when I worked in the US the RNs were illiterate.

        3. You seem like a no-nonsense broad- can you answer a question for me?
A guy, whose comment became an article, followed it up with another comment saying a RN he knew was in a situation where she and other RNs wanted to bang a paraplegic b/c he was good looking, well-hung, and had priapism as a result of his disability- do you think this is true?
To me, it sounds alot like a scene from “The World According to Garp”.
          Thanks.

        4. #1. banging a patient will get you the boot from the profession; #2. banging a disabled patient will get you booted from the profession; #3. depending on where the spinal injury level is, he may not be able to get it up, although priapism may be caused by a spinal cord injury; #4. priapism is a medical emergency.
I hoped this broad has quelled any white support hosiery fantasies that you have. Conclusion: absolute bullshit. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2d2a4abe2fedcc30e831780fb0878ae7a648f8a248dd6a7b1ca5034988a50882.jpg

        5. I dont have any fantasies- like I said, someone else claimed this happens.
Just bc this could get you fired doesnt mean it hasnt happened…

        6. The newspapers are full of stories about people in positions of authority/power who just didn’t understand that ethically and morally there is a line in the sand.
That being said, I will regale you will a true story. Many decades back while on night shift, a nurse came over from the other ward and said, “you gotta see this!” We went over and gathered around the bedside of a comatose twenty-something dude and the nurse pulled down the bed sheet. The exposed man parts consisted of a flaccid extremely long penis that had been tattooed with snake scales and eyes. What a lizard!

    2. There have been studies on this. In the most “gender-equal” countries, men and women greatly separate in their career choices, with mostly men in technical fields. But in “gender-unequal” countries, you see plenty of women working in technical fields. The reason is that when women are free to choose, of course they choose to become nurses/teachers/etc. But when women are NOT free to choose, they go into whatever will pay the bills and feed their family, which is usually more technical fields. But never does it come from any innate female interest in technical subjects, which throws feminists into a tizzy.
Source is the first episode of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hjernevask, available to watch free online

    3. Yeah you’re right. My missus is a straight A student and has technical abilities that rival those of a man. And yet, she’s studying animal nursing and wants to work in a lab doing test on various animals to develop new medicine. At least I know she’s not dumb enough to complain that she earns less than an engineer.
Also, that’s why feminists always demands quotas in prestigious jobs like politician or CEO and sometimes police and fire dep, even though these last two are more dangerous, but never for jobs like waste management. It’s all about social status.

      1. Police, fire, and military *can* be dangerous, but only for brief moments; 99.5% of the time it’s easy as pie. And women know they can just cry or act scared or freeze during the other 0.5%. And stat-wise, even police ranks pretty far down the list of dangerous jobs.

        1. Women freezing during tense situation? I can believe that lol Everytime I see a team of two cops, one 6ft 3 muscular man and 5ft 2 woman, I think to myself that we all know who’s really do the job… Imagine that tiny woman trying to stop two huge drunk guys fighting outside a bar. I don’t know if any studies have been done one this but I would bet that female cops take out their weapons much more often, even when there is no imminent threat to their safety.

    4. Off topic, but I just had to mention it. How did you get your hands on a picture of my dog? Lol. It looks identical to my dog. The sweetest most loyal girl ever in my life.

      1. When I was looking for an avatar, I found this picture and I liked it. I just was googling some random terms until I found some image I liked.
If it’s your dog (or a similar one), congrats. You have a beautiful animal.

        1. Thank you. I thought maybe it was yours and owned a relative or something. It’s a great dane by the way.

        2. Heh…. you’re lucky it was your ass. A 120 pound dog can kick some ass!

        3. I’ll have a dog once I can afford a house with a garden (it’s a crime to have a big dog in a flat). Great dane is a nice dog, though it’s almost sure I’ll get a golden retriever.

    5. This makes sense, I’m interested in the science of living things but not the mechanical side of science. I think that is pretty typical of women, to be more interested in people/animals than machines.

  3. I think feminists just assume that engineering can’t be that much different from social engineering. They probably figure: if they’ve got the foundation course how much harder can it be

  4. In all honesty, women are like petulant children. They exhibit all of the characteristics of little children and when it comes to the working environment, they are a disaster. For example, look at whats happening to Yahoo. At a time when a company is losing profits and struggling to remain economically viable in a competitive market, a company CEO will do everything in his/her power to turn it around in the most effective manner. But instead, what you have is a CEO who cares about throwing $7 million parties while slashing jobs.
This is the end result of women dominating in the workplace, be it at a CEO level or management level. Nikola Tesla warned that women usurping men of their positions to become the dominant one in the workplace would be an indicator of a declining civilization and indeed, that is the case. Women are now becoming the breadwinners, while men are now turning into the dependant trophy husband. As for the men who are working, they have to constantly maintain their guard, watching their own back every minute because of the insane office politics, office drama, office gossip, diversity training, HR, and not to mention, the amount of false rape and false sexual harassment lawsuits being filed against him. How can any grown man with a family to support and a mortgage to pay, have to succumb to this kind of environment which is essentially, turned into a psychopath’s playground? In essence, women have turned the workplace into another version of high school.
Its ridiculous, and the truth of the matter is this is how it will remain in corporate America. With more special entitlements and privelages than any period of history, women still claim to be oppressed by the so called patriarchy and make insane lies such as wage gap and institutitional sexism. How about institutional sexism when it comes to the corrupt hiring practices of HR, who are known to be notoriously comprised of radical feminists that dismiss the notion of meritocracy and give preferential treatement towards hiring more women than men. This is proof of the double standards and hypocrisy of the modern day woman. Always wanting entitlements, rather than promoting accountability and responsibility.
Well, it’s always good to know that what goes around, comes back around. The economy is falling apart with more companies laying off employees and shutting down many branches and offices, it can definately be seen that this would be the end result of corporate America. You keep destroying and sabotaging men in the workforce, keep hiring more women based on their gender than meritocracy and keep oppressing and demonising men and you will start to see the end of a company. Men are now checking out of society, refusing to get married and have families, no longer trusting the corporate world and essentially, disconnecting themselves, that the results are starting to show.

    1. Tesla was great. He even predicted the internet.
Soon women will realize that being a man isn’t such a great thing after all in comparison to what they had. Maybe there will be a neo-victorian revival like in “The Diamond Age” or something.

      1. Women today don’t know “what they had”. They have existed only in a world soaked to the gills in feminism and female supremacy. The down side is they have absolutely no knowledge of what the world was before that. The few living second wave feminists are constantly bugged by the lack of appreciation from modern young women. The young women look at those old dinosaurs and ask themselves, what are they on about? Women today don’t know about being in a society where they stayed home and satisfied their true nature’s ambitions. They have been brainwashed as much as the pansy men of today that women are no different from men and should do the same work as men. They usually crash and burn, realizing that they don’t want to work sometime in their 30s. Then they go into wallet seeking mode.

        1. In one of the theatre carpentry “labs” I worked at, one girl stated her life goal was to become a trophy wife. She was a little hawk-like, but not too bad.
Thinking about it I wonder if there was a subtle hint there, because I look older than I am – or so I’ve been told.

    2. In all honesty, women are like petulant children. They exhibit all of the characteristics of little children and when it comes to the working environment, they are a disaster.

Yup. and they’re at their worst in an all female business environment.

      1. I was going to post that same article till I saw that you beat me to it, ha.
It’s been known for decades in fact that women are also not only more violent than men, but that the worst violence IS between two women.
        Watch till the end,
Feminism – Erin Pizzy- Law to Evict Men from Home without Sufficient Evidence

Women KNOW unconsciously that they’re the most shallow beings, that is why they go to such great lengths to convince men and each other than they really care about the INSIDE of a man, his personality.. bullshit. even while she’ll only date men 6feet and above or make 100K and above.
Women have no depth of feelings which is why they pretend to cry at everything and care more about animals than they do men as they try to prove how sensitive they really are, but most are cold, cold hearted and diabolical!
They have no real skills or abilities which is why they try to create this illusion with their useless degree’s and other nonsense but they still can’t figure out how to fix anything without a man to help them!

    3. I have been in on several sessions reviewing whether to construct new facilities in the US or to off shore. A huge portion of the decision came down to not having to put up with the restrictions and quota hiring. The nanny state is sabotaging men, but corporate America is responding by leaving America.

      1. Unsettling trend. I know of a commissioners Office who was trying to woe an Asian company of building a new plant in their county. It would have meant 400 local jobs, increaese revenue for local vendors, tax base, etc.. They lost the bid to another country out of state. When they asked them why, they openly stated, “we did a review of the potential labor pool and noted you have to many single mothers and blacks in the region.” I knew of another instance where the asian company simply went silent after drawing up the plans to build a plant and were accepting applications.. The commissioners went to the company HQ and were politely told that they rescinded their plans as half of th applicants could not pass a criminal background or drug test.
Being a foreign employer means you don’t have to be politically correct.

    4. Right on.. I’ve said these things myself for almost two decades!
John Stossel – Myth – Women Earn Less For the Same Work

  5. “..men who simply do not want to work with them.”
We have our reasons. After 20 years in the industry, when I meet a female department leader I assume she is an EO hire, related too someone with clout or has her legs in the air with someone who does.

  6. A pet peeve of mine is this “think-outside-the-box” diversity nonsense.
First of all, what the fuck does this really mean? Be creative to develop innovative solutions? OK, that’s fine, but you need to understand the fundamentals first so you know that your “innovative solutions” aren’t retarded and dangerous.
Second, it’s pretty amusing that women, who have been screaming for decades about how they are the same as men, advance this argument, which implicitly concedes that there is a difference in the way that different sexes approach things. In other words, they are different, and they’re arguing that they should be privileged because of it.
But finally, this think-outside-the-box nonsense falls flat because I have never seen it work. Admittedly, I am an attorney and do not work in a technical filed. But if there is anywhere that outside the box thinking should work, it is in the legal profession where hard rules like physics and math do not necessarily limit your options to resolve problems. Yet, I have never seen a woman come up with the magic outside-the-box solution that originated in her vagina, flowed to her brain and graced us all by coming out of her mouth. If anything, I have found the exact opposite – when confronted with a tough and challenging problem, women have been more likely to revert to doctrine, and rather than try to examine where we could push for creative solutions, they are the first ones to throw their hands up, shrug, and say “that’s what the law says”.

    1. Think outside the box should simply mean “don’t think like a vaginal support system”

      1. Haha. Careful. A stiff cock can support a vagina. You don’t want to translate this to “don’t think like a dick.” Don’t give these femtards any verbal jujitsu, or underestimate their ability to employ it!

        1. A stiff cock has multiple purposes. A woman only one….to be a life support system for her puss.

        1. I wouldn’t have to mansplain anything if they were smart enough to understand it the same way that men are.

  7. Early on I encountered this problem with women in the office. One woman who was loud and rude got herself promoted above me and then proceeded to micro-manage every part of my existence, even on holidays. It was intolerable. The final straw was when she asked me to prepare a report for a meeting with a client which I did, and then at the meeting she ended it before I could provide my report. When asked why, she said “I didn’t want to keep the president too long” Huh? The client was pissed that he didn’t get his report but the president could get back to his Internet surfing. Cool.
The next day I had a meeting with my boss and told him I didn’t want to work with her ever again. And I didn’t.
Since then I have noticed this micro-managing aspect of women and their daily periods. I avoid.

    1. Women are also notorious for recruiting snitchy bitch stool pigeons to assist with micro managing.

        1. Make a hard copy and collect the evidence. You never know when it will come in handy. Ferreting out snitchy bitches is easy with a vanilla false rumour. Throw the info in the wash cycle, let it spin and rinse and then see how it comes back.

        2. I frequently keep a journal. I’ve had office bitches try to fuck me in the ass in the office and then turn around and add me on Linkedin. What?!

    2. In my last office job 15 yrs ago, my boss was a micromanaging unmarried shrew. I stood up to her from day 1, told her to leave me alone, I was perfectly competent, and demonstrated that competence over and over. I never backed down, and always used alpha body language when communicating with her (even though I was only 25, lol).
It worked. I tamed her. Would prefer not to repeat the experience though.

      1. I had to tell a female boss over and over again to stop undermining me. She just didn’t get it. In the end I quit and explained my issues with her in my exit interview. That got back to her boss who was not impressed with her.

  8. This article made my morning. My profession is a man’s profession-there is absolutely zero need for a woman to endeavour to be anywhere in the airplane except the galley. The industry likes to advertise with a lot of pictures of female pilots (usually in the HB6 range) for 1 specific reason: They can recruit horny young beta male pilots to their flight school or regional airline. The truth is that once these females start out on the flight line, they are miserable. The biggest issues I’ve ever had with flight crew have been female first officers. I’ll tell a couple of tales this morning.
I remember one time having a faulty door warning and the female FO said that we should return to the gate and terminate the flight, when it was our policy at the time to continue to a maintenance base if doors were confirmed secure. Since I was the captain, she was the only one that could legally leave her seat and check. So I sent her, and she pitched a fit before finally doing so. We continued to and landed at the maintenance base, and I offered to reference in the manual that what we did was good and legal. She ignored me, and stayed on Facebook the entire day that the plane was being serviced. 1 week later, I received a call from my chief pilot saying that she filed a safety report on me, but it would not be an issue as I acted directly from the operations manual. The FO, of course, was not penalized for making a false report. Does that remind anyone of anything?
Another female FO that we all had trouble with has an obvious personality disorder and openly displays her histrionics in the cockpit. On one particular flight, she was flying and I was monitoring. As we approached within a few miles of the runway, her descent became too shallow as her power levers were set too high. Her airspeed was also excessive, so I said we’re “too fast, too high, reduce power.” No response. I said it again to a blank stare and no response. Our policy was like many other airlines’. On the second call for correction, if there are no corrections, take control. So I did. She proceeded to scream at me during touchdown about, “If I’m the one flying, just let me fly!” And “I’m qualified in this plane, too, you have no right to take over!” When the passengers deplaned, she was still screaming at me, and they heard her. She was going off on tangents, screaming to me about how hard it is to be a female in aviation. She then stood at the exit door, with passengers in view, and began bawling, with real tears about some friend that had some kind of airplane crash. I told her that she was going to have us land past the end of the runway and I then went inside. I called the chief pilot and dumped her there. Said she was being hysterical in the cockpit and in front of passengers. He told her to end her day right there. Picked up a male FO and guess what? No problems. That female FO was not only not reprimanded, she was given a captain upgrade that year. Again, she went into some fit with one of her FOs and got suspended for a month. Still working though. If only you guys knew what went on up front.

    1. I have a good friend who is a pilot and has told me samiliar stories to yours over some beers. Their “vagina” keeps them from being dropped or dismissed.
He is looking forward to retirement.

    2. I’m now a little more scared of flying after reading those…
This is the big problem with this forced equality and affirmative action. It feels good in theory, until you yourself end up on a hospital operation table, and the surgeon is a female person of color fresh out of college, who only got the job and education on affirmative action. Or in your case have to fly on a plane with her as the pilot. This will affect all industry in the long-term for sure.

      1. Whatever about pilots, I do have grave doubts at the skills of female surgeons as surgery is related often to physical strength and critically to the ability to use your experience to take calculated risks which are of critical importance during even routne surgery. Women are not made to take such important risks without collective approval which as a surgeon you just don´t have the luxury of getting a “second opinion” from outside when in the middle of an operation. The patient could end up dead or horribly paralysised if you don´t make a decision to act regardless of the different risk factors that need to be faced and overcome in such cases

        1. “surgery is related often to physical strength” I second this, and add in physical and mental endurance. A hospital we work with has had a number of problems stemming from female surgeons having to bow out of a complex procedure after 2 or 3 hours because they became too physically or mentally drained to continue what they were doing. It’s not easy to just switch another surgeon in – even if you happen to have a qualified surgeon nearby (which is rare), surgery is as much art as it is science, and having to figure out where the first surgeon was and what she was doing, etc., is much more difficult than you would think.

        2. Of all the problems that a female surgeon could have in the operating theater, I wouldn’t expect a lack of endurance to be one of them.

        3. It is. I have a sister who is an ortho surgeon. There is a reason men dominate that field. She will only do less demanding procedures as strength and endurance are issues.

        4. It´s extremely difficult to get another experienced surgeon to take over an operation midway as they´re coming to the case cold and won´t know about the patient´s history. Of course, you can use one of the a SHOs or trainee, but again, this can be less than ideal in many cases.
I don´t think it´s sexist to say this, but, women surgeons don´t have as you say the physical endurance to stay standing on your feet for up to 8 hours doing a tricky and demanding operation. They´re some good women surgeons but mostly they´re dealing with specialties that don´t demand such long hours of standing like ophthalmic work or anesthesiology.
Again, surgery demands that measured risks are taken, that difficult cases are faced, otherwise you´ll up end with second rate surgeons in the future.

        5. This is yet another problem with women as due to feminist bullshit the lie is constantly put forth that women are just as strong, tough (mentally and physically), have just as much endurance.. blah, blah, blah or more, as men. And the REALITY of course just the opposite as usual!
Women are nothing but little children PLAY ACTING at everything because they live in a perpetual world of delusion and fantasy!
Women are unable to DIG DEEP for extra strength and energy as men can do and do every day. A woman has a certain amount of energy to give and once it’s used up.. she is spent and just shuts down. A man will get a second wind and keep going with even more energy than before, but women have almost no capacity to do this. This is yet ANOTHER reason why women should be HOME in the kitchen doing light work because that’s all 99% of them are built for.
Even IF some few women could do it, there is no question that the VAST majority simply can not. That is why so many jobs and even in the military the physical standards for them have to be lowered so much that they’re almost non existent and useless!
Feminism, Pt 1 – Defining the Feminist Problem (By a woman)
          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlHFj208qPs&feature=related

        6. Women have 17% less lung capacity than men and their hearts move less blood overall. Coupled with other critical brain differences in wiring which keeps a woman from being able to truly dig deep and get a second wind and yes, they are the weaker sex despite the constant lies of the media, feminism and Hollywood where every woman as a world expert, where the 90lb girl takes on a 300lb trained commando with one hand or the hot blond is the IT/physics genius that went to MIT, Harvard or solved some riddle in astrophysics and builds her own Star Trek level tech stuff from scratch (Dr. Jane Foster in Thor), etc.

        7. I’ve served under good female surgeons. Then again, they were trained extremely – as opposed to most women on the street. One boss of mine, her biceps were bigger than my thighs….

        8. It could be said that Hollywood has cheapened Harvard and MIT even more than their sufferings from corruption (e.g. non-meritorious admissions) and political correctness combined.

    3. That is truly scary shit. Thanks for your post-I had no idea this kind of stuff goes on.

      1. The worst part about women in these positions (pilot, firefighter, police, etc..) is that they can get people killed). People need to realize this important fact when flying. If it’s a female captain, then I would take a later flight..not worth risking your life.

      1. I remember a flight I took to Florida once on Southwest many, many years ago. When we finally landed, the pilot came on over the speakers and said, “Well…we made it.” My only thought was, “There was doubt we wouldn’t?!” Don’t fly too much anymore.

        1. The pilots and crew have to go through the same shit that the passengers do, which makes about as much sense as tits on a boar.

        2. reminds me of an old joke about Pollack Airlines:
The first engine goes out…then the second…then the third…then the pilot says “Man, I hope the last engine doesnt go out, we’ll be up here all day.”

    4. Well, it doesn’t get much more on the money than this right here. In my experience, female aviators talk a great game. They know the FARs, they’re neat and organized in the cockpit, they know their SOPs, flows, memory items, and on and on. If you were a casual observer listening to any of these women, you’d think they really know their shit and that they’re rock solid aviators. But, of course, that’s just women doing what they do best: putting on a good show and running their mouths.
The problem is all that talking, procedural knowledge, and neatness doesn’t mean a whole lot when you can’t fly a fucking airplane to save your life. Bottom of the absolute barrel when it comes to stick and rudder skills; it’s embarrassing, and they know that we know that they’re absolute turds when it comes down to it.
Turbo: you can always spot the PC beta male pilots because they all say this: “Some of the best pilots I’ve flown with have been women, and some of the worst I’ve flown with have been women, too.”
Really, asshole? Because the absolute best — the cream of the crop, the mentors, the guys you look up to, the guys you pray to have next to you if you’re ever in a tough spot — have all been men in my experience. The most petty, terrifying, have no business even sitting in the fucking emergency exit aisle on an airliner let alone flying the damn thing pilots have been, in my decade in aviation, women.
Here’s a female first officer in action; hopefully it was “Free Rolls Of Toilet Paper Day” at Lufthansa, because 150 people just shat themselves. (The cuck captain who thought it was a good idea to let this 24 year old blonde bimbo land in those conditions should be shot at dawn for being so incompetent).

      1. Same with female maintenance officers. They talk smack about procedures but you explain to them how an airplane works, and let the clueless scowls commence. Or they’re just busy looking through aircraft docs making sure you don’t have “offensive” pics in them.

        1. Female A&Ps/MX technicians… perhaps there is a bigger joke than female pilots.

        2. The one thing they are good for is organizing soirees like retirement ceremonies or memorial services.

        3. WHAT MEN KNOW THAT WOMEN DON’T- Feminism, Misandry & A Female Reality
          Check!
          /watch?v=8nSSIBQcMGA

        4. I see this happening with upper levels of management as well (pick an industry…any industry). They are so concerned about how nice and neat everything looks (or is) but when you talk about the “nuts and bolts” of everything they are pretty fucking clueless.
I told one manager when she asked a questioned about dates on a product “why does it matter, you’re not back here handling the product…we are and we all understand the dates, descriptions, etc…, the professionals who should only be handling the product”. There was not response, only the standard SOP to have the correct markings on the products so it “looks good”.
Gold star for her…but another example of how women don’t know shit when it comes to the “nuts and bolts” of it all (in any industry).

        5. Absolutely agree. I’m a pilot and an A&P as well. The only thing that makes me want to vomit more than the incompetence of females in the aerospace industry is the pathetic white knights that hire and create these problems.
In fact, the president of a company that I was employed with hired a female that, at her previous job was a realtor to not only sell maintenance to business jet operators but also to buy aircraft to flip. This bitch couldn’t even explain which end pointed forward. Why was she hired? She’s the president’s wife’s friend, oh, and because the preiedent’s wife had depression, she was the presidnt’s wife’s only friend. That’s why she was hired. I can’t make this shit up. I wish I was.
As a member of management, I had to deal with her vast incompetence, temper tantrums, under bidding and over bidding jobs, working as a realtor during working hours, and guess what? She’s still there after multiple reports to HR from multiple male and female co-workers.
People forget incompetence in this industry can kill people not just one or two at a time, but dozens or even hundreds at a time. It scares me that our society is willing to ignore that for promote “fairness” and “equality”. If there are women in aviation, they in to be in back as stewardesses or in an FBO as a secretary looking hot to sell fuel.

      2. Fuck me! A come to God moment. Please tell me the plane did eventually land.

        1. And the wing tips scrapping the runway! Can you imagine the view from inside?

        2. Planes go sideways like that all the time in cross winds or even while flying at altitude. It’s called “crabbing” and you have to turn the nose into the crosswind otherwise you can’t keep on your true course.
This is another reason why larger airports have runways facing different compass headings so that if you get a crosswind that is very strong they can have you land on a different runway more into the wind, or as much as they can at least.

        1. I was looking forward to Top Gun 2 (Kilmer has already signed on, still trying to get Cruise, they would play the instructors), but I now know someone like Emily Blunt will be cast in the new Maverick role…

        2. We’re in this “culture” now where skill and experience don’t matter anymore in the aviation industry. It’s all about having your organization politicized and bureaucratic so management can advance whichever flavoured agenda that they wish to.

        3. And management can hide behind qualifications “well she had all the proper certifications…”

        4. Of course. Just like with the new Ghostbusters 2, they have to REMAKE every dam movie with women in the lead roles to further push the memes and lies that women just as competent or more so than men, because they EXACT OPPOSITE is true!!
          Misandry Part 1 1/3 – by ManWomanMyth

        5. “The problem is all that talking, procedural knowledge, and neatness doesn’t mean a whole lot when you can’t fly a fucking airplane to save your life.”
This holds a large parallel to my workplace as well. I work in sales, and the women there in general know more about the products and services than the guys. The problem is that they do not know how to sell. There was one girl on my team in particular who exemplified this.
She was smart, attractive, and knew the products and services to a tee. The problem is- whenever she was talking to someone on the phone, it all went downhill from there. The best way I can describe it is that she comes off as trying to prove something with everything she says. Talking like this made her pretty impersonal at times, and this showed through her sales numbers. The entire time she was in her sales area, she did not close more than 5 businesses. For reference, I have managed to close 6 deals in a week before.
Of course, she ended up being promoted to a product specialist position at the end of last year. She actually does pretty well there, since all that position is is assisting sales reps with product knowledge and solutions. I can’t imagine where she is going to go from there though. All of the other positions in the company are coaching or management related, and I doubt that she will do well with that.
Another funny thing about this girl- for all of her “intelligence”, she is completely irresponsible with her finances. She would publicly complain about the massive amount of student debt she was in to co-workers on a regular basis.
One day, she decides that her current car (Lexus SUV) is a is a POS and breaks down too much. What does she do? Buys another fucking Lexus and gets into even more debt! And on top of all that, she is saying that she eventually wants to go back to school to get a Masters.
Completely fucking insane and irresponsible. But that is the norm nowadays I guess.

        6. You are spot on.
I have seen that endlessly in real life and on the internet; These women think that just having “qualifications” makes them as good as anyone else with “equal qualifications”.
Of course men know that that’s not the case and instead, what really matters is performance and the ability to get results. A little thing we call “Merit”. But that’s lost on current youth in general anyway.

      3. So I take it you would rather have Chesley Sullenberger instead of Kara Hultgreen (RIP) sitting next to you?
        //sarc

        1. Kara was a washout that never happened. She had more downs than any male pilot was allowed and she actually realized that and tried to resign. The Navy pressured her to stick to it. They had their female fighter pilot and they didn’t want her to fail. Thank God her RIO survived.
Contrast her with that bimbo “Hornet pilot” on Fox. A guy I know drummed her out of the Navy because he thought the safety of his squadron mates was more important than the heat he would get for giving her the shoes. It also helped that he was an outstanding officer but she got more chances than she should have even after damaging more than one jet.

      4. Here’s what I say to people who ask me about females in martial arts. When you’re in a tough spot, who do you want watching your back? A well trained man or a well trained… chick?

        1. Have you ever been struck by a trained woman ? If you have it will give new meaning to your opinion of them…

        2. I have been struck many times by trained women. And I never strike trained women because it would be more cruel than drowning kittens.

        3. Yeah, women in martial arts are an interesting phenomenon. They have to spar with guys, but they almost always brag that they’ve “never been hit in the face.” Guys will say, for the sake of the class that “boy, she’s tough.” But in reality they just didn’t want to hit them, and they didn’t want the sensei to know that.

        4. The man. And for reasons besides martial skill. Women will let other people drown and never take another’s back. Been discussed here ad nauseum.

      5. A.V. Yader, not disputing your observations (love your articles), but I had that experience as a passenger when coming into O’Hare one blustery Christmas. Bounced twice on runway, tilted left, aborted landing, pulled back up. Yes, it was toilet paper time. We circled around, hit the tarmac even harder the second time, bounced again, but this time the wind cooperated.
The captain was a man, and on the way out I peeked in the cockpit. He had his head between his hands, basically having a small breakdown. Don’t remember the FO, but I doubt it was the fault of anybody.
My GF needed chiropractic work after that landing.

        1. You have to be nicer to guys, they’re not invincible fuck machines with no emotions. Stick to tearing down women

      6. Dude, I’ve done better on a PC flight simulator, and that was before I was 18. lol

      7. Never knew the story on that one. She gave up on flying the plane as soon as the gear touched.

      8. I am not a pilot, but I have a sense of when to be more nervous than usual when I see a female walk into the cockpit. Daytime, great weather, short flight, big-ish airplane? Ok, not as nervous. Nighttime, crappy weather, small plane? Get me outta there. Case in point: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colgan_Air_Flight_3407
The guy was a total loser of a pilot who failed his flight exam five times, and the girl was a 24 year old who had no understanding of emergency actions.
Don’t forget, the female commercial pilot is less likely to be military trained. Even when they are, chances are while in uniform they spent less time in the cockpit, for whatever reason (cranking out a baby, taking cush jobs, etc.)

      9. Stupid question: as a non-aviator, what exactly happened there? Because if I were to guess, based on long-ago memories of Ace Combat, it looked like she had a strong crosswind from the starboard side, was giving it right rudder to compensate, with her course lined up on the center of the runway, got close to the ground, then thought “Hey, the plane is crooked! Better straighten it out,” let the wind take her left, tried to recover from that, then aborted.
If so, that seems like a serious failure to understand basic physics and relative motion at an instinctive level. Of course, I could be misreading it completely…

        1. It’s not a stupid question. You’re right, there was a strong crosswind coming from the right. There’s two schools of thought on how to deal with a crosswind. One is to crab into the wind keeping the wings level till just before touchdown. In the flair you drop the wing into the wind and use opposite rudder to align the fuselage with the runway upon touchdown. The other method is to fly wing low all the way through the approach. I don’t do that because it gives the passengers a bad ride. In planes like the 747 you need to just touch down sideways because dropping a wing can cause you to drag an engine. On planes like the Global Express you can drag a wingtip real easy.
In either case you need to hold aileron into the wind. This is for two reasons, one to keep that upwind wing down so the wind doesn’t get under it. The other reason is because in a crosswind with the vertical surface, the plane wants to turn into the wind. By adding aileron into the wind you are creating more drag on the opposite wing, helping to keep the plane straight. You can get away with almost anything on a dry runway but when you start landing on icy runways you have to run solid airplane game.
The chick flying the plane was trying to do all this but as soon as she felt she was about to touch down she tried to jump across to airplane driver mode instead of making a smooth transition. she gave up on the aileron and rudder and just tried to drive it on the ground. I’m sure she had a big bruise on her hand from getting it caught between the throttles and the captains hand when he shoved everything forward to go around.
I’ll bet good money she had zero taildragger time and probably doesn’t fly on her days off.

        2. Thanks. That makes sense– basically, “I’m close to the ground, so I’ll pretend I’m already there.” So, ideally, she should have switched modes as the rear wheels touched? Or just before? Looks like she would have been better off landing with the plane still somewhat sideways than doing what she did…

      10. When I got up in the stratosphere of a big pharma company we talked about the glass ceiling and that shit. It’s accepted that women are too emotional to run anything important. That’s why they’re usually put in positions that excutives don’t really care about and require little trust. They’re basically highly paid baby sitters. To be in a position where lives are at stake shows how low corporate America has come.

        1. I agree…seen it plenty of times. There are always these VP positions that post many women (we joked about one being the VP of the Parking Lot) because the company was littered with women VPs (bullshit titles). The great part….when the company downsized, we got to wave bye-bye to these overpaid women. They cleared house..all the VPs went away…nice.
There is nothing worse then promoting these women to a higher position just to appease the corporate numbers. Most are not qualified to run a small department let alone be a VP of one. HR is usually a joke with all of the “equality” – always all women in them.

      1. Most female officers in the military overcompensate by being bitchy and talking in a deep voice. It’s fucking pathetic. And if they didn’t, no one would take them seriously anyways. Women shouldn’t be in leadership roles.

      2. It seems like this female captain fucked up when she pissed of the master chief. As anyone in the Navy knows, a master chief isn’t the highest rank but is the heart of the ship (and the Navy for that matter). You fuck up when you piss off your master chief.
These guys are ones that have been in the service for decades and smart officers look to them for guidance.

        1. Pretty much any E-9s across the services save for the occasional cocksucker.

    5. Bottom line is, women are useless for pretty much everything (with some obvious exceptions of course).

      1. Being a stewardess would fit their internal biology better. It’s loosely linked to nurturing. That’s part of why flying 50 years ago was so special. Look at the attendants now. Bunch of fogies and fags.

        1. I flew with Qatar Airways a couple years back, at the time voted the best airline in the world. It showed. The stewardesses all looked like they jumped right out of a tv ad, and not a male steward in sight, as it should be.
Then I flew with norwegian airlines. A skinny, red haired, faggy looking dude kept pestering me about my ipod. And who I assume to be the captain stopped me on the way out, just to stare at me.

        2. I was in first class in Singapore recently. Instead of the cute girl I was assigned this fat old guy. I kicked up a hell of a fuss – I do not pay top dollar for this shit.
Mercifully they got the girl to serve me for the rest of the flight.
My favourite bit is when they kneel at your feet.
Man in the cockpit, woman on her knees, and all was right with the world.

        3. My dad was a line pilot in the 70s and 80s, I used to go with him on jump seats when I was young (and occasionally 1st class, lol). It was so different, and so much better. Real food, real service in the cabin, people actually dressed nicely to fly, etc.

        4. I haven’t been on Qatar yet, but I have been on Emirates. Those girls are cream of the crop! They obviously use discriminatory hiring practices to select the best girls, which makes for a better customer experience! I wish western airlines would take a few tips from their playbook.

        5. Yep I believe it was a better time. Gender equality and bottom-feeder economics forever ruined western air travel.

        6. “Look at the attendants now. Bunch of fogies and fags.”
Oh yeah. Seeing grandmothers as stewardesses is depressing. A guy next to me on a trans-Atlantic flight had one of the gay stewards slip him his phone number if front of a packed flight before departing the aircraft. The guy went beat red– wasn’t gay apparently, but he made the mistake of simply making conversation with him earlier in the flight.

        7. Everytime you post, I think of that band and the song “Peter Pumpkinhead”. Good ol modern rock

        8. Flying across the Pacific we have to stop in Narita (Tokyo). All the guys know this is the point when going to the east (from Asia to America) where you transition from young cuties to the cranky grandmas.

        9. Misogynist shitlord. Fucking scumfuck. Kill yourself.
Nah just kidding. That sounds like a nice time.

        10. They were hiring all over south america, there was a minimum height requirement which was why a hot friend of mine couldn’t get hired(have to be able to reach the overhead bins). Her brother was, he spoke 3 languages, and went to paraguay where the competition to get hired was light compared to Brazil. He really managed to see some amazing places, as Emirates fly to some pretty exotic locals.

        11. So, what did you say? And who did you say it to – the fat old guy himself?
I had an experience with another Asian airline once – I had been bumped up to business from economy, because I had been seriously fucked around, and made to take a later flight. Instead of a nice girl, I got a poofter who treated me like I would have like to have treated him. I was too tired (from earlier fuck-up) to make any sort of complaint.

    6. That female FO was not only not reprimanded, she was given a captain upgrade that year
Shit like this make me look forward to the next financial meltdown…

      1. But, wouldn’t the likely outcome of that meltdown be you are fired and she gets your job?

      2. like Shmalkandik noted, IME when it is downsizing time in a male dominated profession the corporations want to keep their female numbers looking good so its the men who go and competence has nothing to do with the selection process of which men.

    7. Definitely highlights why there should be less women in the workforce. It’s not that they’re all incapable or mentally ill, it’s that they will get special privileges regardless of whether those two things are true or not.

    8. This story sounds pretty crazy. Do you think you could have had the same problems with men you work with?

      1. That’s a silly question. No man who acts like a woman would be allowed to get that far.

        1. Female #2 sounds a bit crazy. But I could see a male going off on an ego trip and behaving like female #1 (With the I am right you are wrong mentality).

        2. Not a male pilot. He would never have made it that far.
Look, you are female so I understand that you don’t get it. But this is the reality we are all living in. Women are treated better than men given similar behavior. And for that same reason female faculties are stymied.

        3. I am not a pilot so I can’t comment on male pilots behavior. However, i am an engineer in a male dominated field (oil). I have seen a male or two behave like female #1 in the story.
With that being said, the oil industry is a male dominated aging industry the profile of the average person at work is a male in his 50s. However, I have noticed a trend recently at work where the probability of a female in her 30s getting a promotion seems a lot higher than the probability of a male in his 50s getting a promotion despite the extra experience. If I were a male in his 50s at this company — I would be angry.

        4. I am 60 and work in financial services with a whole bunch of white guys 50 and older we are all well aware that we are red headed step-children. We have been lectured 100s of times in diversity training that we are not wanted and won’t be promoted. It is usually stated as we want to hire diversity, retain diversity, and promote diversity. We all know that means white guys are un wanted. You can get angry, but eventually you get past anger and move on to acceptance. We have no choice as we are nearing retirement. The shit is coming when we all go on our way and the dregs of diversity are running things. We won’t be there to get the job done despite them anymore.

        5. I am in the same business as you, and I can confirm everything that you said.

        6. If a company is not owned by the government why does it have to follow rules on “diversity”?

        7. If you can afford it, become an independent external consultant. I know a couple of guys who do this and the “diversified” corporate finance office usually digs the company into a hole.

    9. This kind of shit is terrifying! I remember flying recently, and hearing a female pilot’s voice over the intercom made me feel slightly uncomfortable. Is there always at least one man in the cockpit in your experience? I’d be very shocked if a woman was able to calmly and coolly perform a Sully Sullenberger maneuver. He was the guy who saved the passengers by landing a plane in the Hudson River after a problem during takeoff, but what stood out to me more than anyone was his calm, logical, “we can’t do it (land); we’re gonna be in the Hudson.”

For the record, he said he would not want his children working in the aviation industry…

      1. What saved that flight was that Sully is a real man. 2 balls working in unison to produce a desired result. No thinking about how he feels about it. Successful outcome was the only option on his mind. That guy’s no beta, I assure you.

      2. Yeah, I remember hearing the audio of that, and the
coolness and professionalism stood out almost as much as the actual
flying did. If you didn’t speak English, you wouldn’t know it was an
        emergency.

    10. Moral of the story? Quit flying. Not only will you avoid being finger-fucked by TSA, but you will also decrease your chances of being killed by an incompetent, emotional train wreck of a woman.

    11. So much unnecessary Drama could be avoided , if the Equality Social experiment sham was thrown out the window.

    12. The number of good female pilots I know can be counted on one hand missing a few fingers. One, in particular, has ice in her veins. The rest? Damn useless for anything but basic VFR and IFR (ASEL) instruction.

    13. Sweet Jesus Christ but that’s fucking disturbing. Thanks for sharing. I think. 😉

    14. This makes me want to gouge my own eyes out. Lucky for me I’ve always flown 91 corporate and I’ve never had to fly with a female captain and I’ve only used female co-pilots on rare occasions. My first jet type rating was in a Lear 25 and back then there was very few females flying them. I always saw them in Citation 500’s and dubbed them chick-jets–pisses off male Citation pilots off–sorry guys.
I don’t mean to sound like an old guy but so much of the problem in aviation these days–and it pains me to go here–is people that never came up through the ranks (Turbo and AV know the term I refuse to use) flying smaller stuff. They go to Embry Riddle or ATP with a load of debt and off they go flying jets having never flown any where near any limits–much less their own. Those places are brutal sausage fests and I can’t begin to imagine the free ride any countersunk pilot enjoys. On one hand I love to see 28 year old (male) captains flying jets but on the other I think to my self how the fuck can these guys know what the hell they’re doing. Granted, I was 32 when I was turned out as a Lear 25 captain I’d been a line boy, and a mechanic. I’d towed banners in 450 Stearmans and 1340 Ag Cats while I was still in high school. I’d test flown the biggest pieces of shit and delivered planes all over the country. The limp wristed fagots I see out there now don’t look like they can fly their way out of a wet paper bag.
I’ve flown with three women I ever thought were worth a shit. One is dead, because in my humble opinion didn’t appreciate or understand the dangers associated a mod that was done on her plane. One was an OK pilot but she was still a woman with the faults we all talk about and more than once had to rely on skill to overcome stupid shit she did. One is actually a great stick but she’s more like a guy and is a lot older.
I think I’m going off on a tangent about aviation in general. I belong to two aviation organizations that are male only and it is real nice to have an all male bastion. I’m the department manager for the people I fly for and hire all the pilots. My people trust me enough, I’ve been with them for 20 years and I would never hire a female pilot.

      1. Nothing wrong with your hiring practices. You should only hire the best and it seems that men are the best when it comes to flying.
I know many will get their feelings hurt by it but fuck them…let them get their feelings hurt. More people will stay alive because of it.

    15. I disagree. On planes, there’s a place for women in the lavatory as well. But only after the plane has reached cruising altitude, at least a mile high.

    16. All of the women pilots / CFI’s I have flown with are professional people, however there were two women who are as you described, and one is a raging alcoholic and still flying with her ATP !! no shit !! , …..they slip through the cracks from time to time…

    17. Man, if I knew the pilot was female I’d be scared to death to get on the plane. I mean, women can’t make a decent cup of coffee, how can they get a plane around safely? I’ve had disagreements with co-workers before, and during down time I’d get out the text books and look things up to make sure of my position. To get on FB and pout is absurd.

  9. Whenever I have to call a woman into my office for a performance review, or really for anything, I make sure to schedule the meeting at a time when the building is most heavily trafficked and I make sure to leave the door wide open with both of us clearly visible to everyone happening by.
Doing otherwise is a recipe for a “sexual harrassment” accusation if she doesn’t like my review.

    1. I used to have the head of HR present for the “special snowflake” reviews. It nips the accusations in the bud.

      1. Same. I always had someone present so there was no room for error in any remarks. You have to watch your ass because HR is full of women (so much for equality).

    2. When I worked in academia I was given a set of rules to follow in my contact with females of any kind. They were:
      1. Never be in a room with a woman with the door shut.
      2. Never be in an elevator alone with a woman.
      3. If you are in an elevator alone and a woman gets on, exit the elevator and call another.
      4. Preferably you should never interact with a woman unless there are other female witnesses.
      5. never say anything to a woman that is not 100% in the line of business.
Now the question is, are you being paranoid enough?

        1. I said this bc he is older…lets you know how long this has been going on, which is kinda shocking…

        2. In college? Were/are you a prof? Genuinely curious, seems like all the toxicity starts there, then makes its way out into the real world…

        3. Started when attending college. Never was a professor, no way with those shrews! Dean of C.S. Dept wanted me to teach but I tend to call it as I see it. Wouldn’t have been pretty for the incompetent.
This was also good practice in ANY corporation in the 80’s. The poison had reached out to corporate America already. A lot also comes from MSM, commercials and soul sucking TV sitcoms.

        4. Damn it was 20 years ago. Time flies. I was teaching statistics in a business college/University.

      1. Those are all very good rules to live by when interacting with women in academia.
It’s not paranoia when the danger is ever-present.

  10. The good news is that US and UK female soldiers will now be sent to the front line during war. Next, I want to see more women involved in the construction and oil industries. And when I see a woman working as a garbage collector will be another proud day for feminism.
Women’s push for equality is nothing but shooting themselves in the foot but they don’t seem bright enough to figure out.
Having said that, my wife has figured it out. From day one she told me that she wanted to be a house wife and have as many children as possible. Ironically, I’ve noticed that she is rather good with man’s tools and able to construct things on her own.

    1. “The good news is that US and UK female soldiers will now be sent to the front line during war.”
Good sir, you have obviously never heard of the phrase “pleading my belly”.

      1. Pregnancy is easy to disprove nowadays if this is a false plea. And if it’s true, still no dice, we obviously have no problem whatsoever with killing unborn babies, it happens every day.

    2. “Having said that, my wife has figured it out. From day one she told me that she wanted to be a house wife and have as many children as possible. Ironically, I’ve noticed that she is rather good with man’s tools and able to construct things on her own.”
My parents had 7 kids and my mom was always the one who mowed the lawn, fixed plumbing issues, took care of vehicles, etc. Dad never even changed a tire. And they ran a construction company too, and she was the one who put on the “white hard hard” and went out on site with the crew. Dad was brilliant with drawing up blueprints though. But then mom was a farm kid and grew up driving tractors and tending livestock, while dad was a city boy. I sometimes think the city vs. country thing makes almost as much difference in how people act as sex does.

    3. I can explain why this push for “Front-line Females” is happening, at least within the USA, beside the obvious “political reasons” that are forcing “equality” in the form of “numbers of female bodies present”.
The USA may soon have its first female Commander-in-Chief, in the form of Hillary Clinton (an if not her, it will happen easily within the next three Presidential Administration cycles).
Right now, the USA military is very combat veteran heavy. Meaning units all over the various branches have many people that have been in actual combat, which is very different than the military force that Bill Clinton led in his last term and the one that Bush led in his first.
      So, why is this relevant?
What senior ranked, combat veteran, in their right mind, is going to agree with any order given or strategy issued by someone like Hilary Clinton? The answer is NONE. I can almost guarantee there will be a mass exodus of “experienced combat staff”, if, Hilary Clinton becomes Commander-in-Chief and this exodus across all service branches.
So, this begs the question, how will those manpower “loses” be replaced? By gung-ho women joining up of course. By opening up “front line duty” to women, the armed forces will be able to put “bodies in place” that will be able to make up for the loss of real “combat veterans” (ha, ha, first females in Ranger School, anyone). Granted these forces will very inefficient and far less experienced, but they will be highly obedient, will follow procedure manuals to the letter and will willingly act as a force-wide CID on the behalf of the upcoming “Politically Driven Commanders” of tomorrow.
So even though Clinto and Obama had no military experience when they were in charge and Bush II had very little, if any, MARK MY WORDS, Hilary Clinton, acting as Commander-in-Chief, in retrospect, will make Bill Clinton look like Churchill, Obama like Franklin Roosevelt and Bush like Eisenhower.
Think of it this way, would you want to take or give “life or death orders” issued from someone who WILLINGLY let their husband cheat on them and then stayed married to that cheater, simply for political gains and the chance to eventually become the first female President?
That is the LAST type of person that regular USA citizens can trust, in a position of power, that has the ability to order regular people to their deaths in war. Divorcing Bill would have given her a HUGE credibility boost, but it would have been at the cost of Political Power and her current chance at being the “First Female President”. Since she did not do that, its a clear indication of what her primary motive are.

      1. Makes sense but I think the reason goes beyond that. The US elite has been deliberately taking action to weaken the US war potential. You want to know why?

    4. I agree. I’ll often comment on how I look forward to the day that women will start pulling their own weight by going to war, picking up the trash, etc, etc….pisses women off (because it’s the truth).
Women will talk a good “equality” game until you present the facts. Then, they’ll get pissed because they know a good thing is coming to an end. I’ll remark “either get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich or pack your gear and head out to war.
That gravy train is coming to an end, ladies.

  11. I am in the management side of construction projects. I work on the team that hires the trades and then I do a lot in terms of coordination and management. A lot of my ability to get my job done is dependent on my guys knowing that I “get it.” I may not be as good an electrician as my electrical contractors, but I understand the trade. Same with masonry, carpentry, etc. I know I couldn’t do their job but I also do have a working understanding of all of them. That builds a trust and respect so that when I tell them something from a management perspective that they may not understand because they are looking at their trade with a magnifying glass, but I have a birds eye view at the project as a whole, they tend to trust me.
I honestly feel that they see me as a team captain and, despite my white hard hat, don’t look at me like some arbitrary authority figure (they way they look at my boss). This is something that women can not achieve with these guys. No matter how “cool” they think they are when they take them to a strip club or can talk about some football score or drink beer with the boys, they cannot win what I have won with years of hard work. Further, because women have no actual respect for labor (they only want to manage it because it pays well and because they are “fierce bad bitches” or whatever these cunts are calling themselves now) the men will never feel a kindred spirit.
My guys will always work harder for me than they would for some bitch with an MBA and a construction degree. They also know that when the chips are down I will have their back and I will not fuck them in an up market just because I can.
I guess you can say that I always think outside the box because I never would let some cunt and her box onto my team.

        1. No worries , I’m stealing that as a new nick name . Ladies gonna love my white hard hard

    1. I guess what you build is a brotherhood when you all can unwind together and view each other as friends even if you are the manager at work.

      1. That is true. I have thousands of guys though. When I get onto a job site even the ones that I don’t know know who I am and know that I am not there to fuck them over. That took a lot of years.

        1. That’s respect. They know that you would roll up your sleeves and get down and dirty alongside side with them to get a job done regardless of what your title is.

        2. I’ve done it. I have gone out on the scaffolding and helped out until I got in the way and I had some guys teach me how to use a jackhammer when I was ripping up some concrete. I nearly died. They loved it.

        3. Apparently, we are both in construction in nyc and agree with everything you said.

    2. The key is to never bring a woman on board because once you do the drama will start. I don’t care what field women have the ability to wreck things with a little drama.

  12. Ok hands up. Who in here is or was in the military and got to work with a female officer who was clueless about her MOS?

    1. Thank god that when I was in the service (submarines in the 70s and very early 80s) the upper leadership shot down any female inclusion in my service. ComSubLant and Pac said they would resign before they had a single female on one of their subs. The Jimmy Carter, the gutless asshole and worst president during my lifetime, backed down.

  13. Yesterday i went to a interview for a part time job. The boss was a woman, and she said loud and clear “Thank God there is a man that will work with me because i cant stand working with the other women here” Her body language was like “Jesus, i cant take the drama anymore” She also said she preferred to work with men.
I must say this is the most important issue on the post: women are devils to each other. They are drama queens by nature, but, in the work place they go bananas.
Another thing is that if you work with many women and show some level of weakness they will eat you apart. In my last job in a University, the chief of the academic services fell down the stares and broke his tailbone and had to leave work for two months. Guess who attack him almost every single day? The women. Weak, lame, a “small flower” (expression that we use in Portugal to describe weak men) etc. The men had no respect. He had a accident but for them, he had to work injured.
I would say that the workforce reflects normal life: women will shit test you every time to see some weakness. If you pass the test, you will be respected and they will submit, if not…prepare to work in Hell!

    1. I have six sisters. We are all old and most of us are now retired. My sisters have been in management positions, and one was an executive at a fairly large insurance firm. Recently we were all talking and they all agreed that women were great managers. Then they all said, of course, they hated working for women, and would never willingly do it again. When I called them on this cognitive dissonance, they all retreated to, yes, women make great managers.

      1. Women can be competent but its in their nature to be ultra competitive with each other.

      2. Too funny. “Women make great managers but I hate working for a woman”…says all of the women.
Then they need to know that men really hate working for women. Most second guess their decisions and when shit really hits the fan you’d be surprised how many of these managers look to a man for “what to do, now?”.
Again, they get the position because we have to show how “diverse” and “equal” we are as a society but it’s usually a given..not something that they’ve earned. You have to ask yourself, if shit goes south would you follow this person (this women)? Hell no.

    2. Well, breaking a tailbone isn’t weak. Anyone can break a bone for fucks sake. How is this interpreted as some kind of “weakness”?

      1. That is how women think. If you are injured, you are basically a broken tool of no use and discarded for a new one.

        1. Yes, and it occurs within marriages too. Women *despise* men when they get sick. Don’t ask me how I know.

        2. Same boat as you. It’s gotten better the past few years, but my wife has outright accused me of faking sick before. I finally had to show her a thermometer that registered my temp at 102.7 for her to finally believe me.
On the flip side, when she gets sick (which is about 7x more often than I do), she thinks everything should be dropped to help her.

        3. Maybe you come from a different world than I do, but in my world wives take care of their husbands when they get sick, but a sick woman is on her own. We even have a saying that “sickness is a luxury afforded to men and children, mothers never get sick days”.

        4. It only brings sympathy if you are part of the hive. If you are a hive member then a collection is taken up and flowers and cards are sent. No hive member = fuck you slacker.

        5. This is why you live together for at least 3 years before even thinking of kids today. I doubt I will ever have a family if I stay in the west.

        6. 3 years seems a bit ambiguous of a timeframe, but I get your gist of waiting for the honeymoon phase to end.
Like I said, it’s gotten better but only because I stopped tolerating poor behavior. She wants to be taken care of when she’s sick? Then I expect the same in return.

        7. I just can’t quite wrap my head around their mentality. I mean, I get it, the world is more r-shifted, but it shouldn’t take being at risk of death on a daily basis for women to behave halfway decently.

        8. Me too- A study recently confirmed when men get sick they REALLY get sick, and women think the men are milking it for sympathy- apparently men have better healing ability, think cuts and bruises, and women have better immune systems, so the flu doesnt wallop them the way it does to men.

        9. Actually, women think that because it is what they do. Liars think everybody lies, thieves think everyone steals, etc.

        10. That’s right. That’s why women are MASTERS of accusing others of what they’re guilty OF!
Because they are chronic liars and constantly call out for bullshit reasons and “mental health” days, when a man does the same thing it can ONLY be because he is also lying and needing a mental break. Women are SO blinded and locked into their own delusional world and so hypocritical I have ZERO respect for any of them.
What worse when you call them on it, it’s just funny and everything to them is one big joke because all they want to do is laugh and make light of everything because it’s all a game.

      2. If they LIKE you, it isn’t weakness. But unless you’re Leo DiCaprio or something, most women don’t like you, even if they act like they do. If you’re a boss who gives them freebies, or a guy who is incredibly sexy to them, or maybe even a guy so far out of the sexual running that they can safely look at you with pity (like an ugly puppy), then they will, as the other guy said, take up collections for cards and flowers and such for you. If you’re just ‘a coworker,’ then you are of no use, either logistically or for emotional gratification.
I had a granite slab fall on me at work a few years ago. Broke my tailbone, femur, crushed my foot, messed up my back (the last got better, but for a few weeks I thought I was going to be paralyzed). Within a day of me being gone, the women at my job were talking trash about how I never really belonged, when they were almost all affirmative action hires and generally only ever given busywork because they couldn’t do anything technical or that required strength.
        Eye opening stuff.

        1. “If they LIKE you, it isn’t weakness. But unless you’re Leo DiCaprio or something, most women don’t like you, even if they act like they do. If you’re a boss who gives them freebies, or a guy who is incredibly sexy to them”
Spot on! The boss of the boss that felt down the stares, was a total idiot and a total incompetent. But guess what: my colleague and superior, also a woman and the alpha women of the hive, said he was sexy. Soon, the other women started thinking the same and he could fuck up in a epic scale but they would forgive him almost every time. If you can give them the chills you can have all the broken bones you want and still control them.

      3. Absolutely and the tailbone is incredibly hard to heal. I defended him, i though he was a really good men but there you go, he was to soft on them, he did not exude a strong masculine power although very competent. The result is lack of respect.

    3. women are devils to each other.

In all my years of working I’m still astonished when I see this play out. It isn’t guys who hold back women professionally, it is other women. They will tear each other to shreds.

      1. I read an article in LinkedIn saying exactly the same thing. It was published in Forbes.

      2. 1,000% TRUE. It took the RoK article, “Anatomy of a Modern Day Witch Hunt” to wake and shake me up. My fellow females can not be trusted.

      3. Amen to that! You have no idea of the envies, regarding promotions and salaries, that existed in the academic services namely regarding one of them that was kind of ostracized . I can place my hand on fire and tell you that if it was a women in charge, the place would be impossible to work in. And they know it. My colleague and superior for example, also a woman, told me when i started, that she wanted a men, older than her, to work with. What she really means: i want a men to provide order, stability and rule in the damn place, to put them and me in line. Its in their genes.

      4. Indeed. Women are the reason why they all get paid less. Most will take less to get the job and others will back stab them for a position by taking less money.
It’s not my fault (as a man) if a woman is a shitty negotiator.

    4. It’s human nature to seek a place and to place people in a hierarchical spot. With men it’s natural because we give way or respect but as a man within a female majority you have to be on point from day one and show that you’re worthy of respect. Not saying me are different but women care way too much about male hierarchyies.
You will be shit tested and copared to other men to assess the amount of shit test you wil receive next time.
If you’re weak you’re no better than one of the women, if you’re average in the shit test you will get more shit until you break or win and if you repel the shit test they will respect you but will still get an eventual light shit test.

      1. I was shit tested constantly but managed to put them in line. I only had problems when i try to seduce one of them with no success. My smv was down the drain, i could felt it, because if you fail in fucking one of them, they will become more cold and protective of the “target” you had. We have to be very careful about sex and seduction in the work place.

      1. Cat fights over handbags, Tears in the toilets.
One woman’s tale about trying to start/run an all female production company that failed miserably. Said right in the article if she had to do it over again she’d probably hire only men.

  14. Women are great for following instructions and doing bitch work, but I find the majority of them don’t want to discuss innovative ideas just for the heck of it like guys do.
Other than manginas or douchebags most guys I’ve worked with are happy to sit around and discuss some technical aspect of their work, or try and come up with more efficient ways to solve problems, or propose new value propositions.
When I try to get into these kinds of discussions with female colleagues, they often just look bored. And for the ones that do entertain these kinds of discussions, I can’t help but think they’re just playing nice kuz they want the D.

    1. “When I try to get into these kinds of discussions with female colleagues, they often just look bored. And for the ones that do entertain these kinds of discussions, I can’t help but think they’re just playing nice kuz they want the D.”
From what I’ve heard most women supposedly don’t do things they aren’t interested in just to get sex like men tend to. But personally, I have stuck around in boring situations just because a hot guy was there, even knowing I had zero chance of actually getting with him, I’d hang around just to keep looking at him. So either I’m some special exception or most women are less than truthful. I think I know which way most ROKers would vote.

        1. When a man does it it’s stalking but I’m a girl so it’s cute when I do it. Right?

        2. I’ll use woman logic here. If you’re good looking, it’s cute. If you’re a hideous, old and fat hag, it’s creepy.

        3. Exactly. It’s not what you do, it’s how you look doing it, that determines if you’re creepy or not.

        4. I’m not talking about your demeanor or facial expression, I’m talking about your attractiveness.
An ugly witch giving starry-eyed look is still creepy.

  15. Worst thing: Living in a country where most males are pathetic betas. Those thirsty losers prefer to hire women, not because women are more skilled, but because those losers will do anything to get a pussy.
I’ve worked in a team with 1 thirsty beta male manager, 1 other guy and the rest of the team were women. It was HORRIBLE. Imagine you have to deal with their bullshit for 8 hours a day and 5 days a week. The other guy almost never talked, like he had zero life in him. The beta loser manager didn’t do shit with the women, but he was happy to have some women around him. Probably because that ugly fucker couldn’t get any pussy outside the workplace.

  16. This article describes a lot of the guys in my department. They hired a female a few months back and sadly, she does a better job than most of the guys.
She also has more tattoos and piercings than all the guys as well though

  17. Just a question by the way, without intention about defending women. The over 5 most important banks in the US in 2008 and AIG were ruled by men when meltdown… any idea about the cause (maybe some hipsters were involved…)

    1. There’s some evidence that groups of men in highly competitive environments benefit from having one or two women present. Keeps the testosterone down, and therefore avoidable stupid mistakes.

    2. Abolishment of Glass-Steagall, and mortgage loan subsidies to consumers from government.

  18. I’m an architect and I have to say thank God that my female counterparts are competent technically and very professional. Otherwise I’d be miserable.

    1. I worked as a field engineer for 20 years. I never met a competent female engineer. they just could not translate from the book to the real world and needed explicit instructions for every task. They were incapable of creative thought or extending knowledge into practice.
I have worked almost 20 years in statistical modeling. Here about half my co-workers are women. And I have yet to meet one that was not competent. Why the difference? Because modeling is all theoretical. We never really step into reality, and the work is all done in air-conditioned cubicles.
Your work is skilled and requires talent but I bet it doesn’t usually need you or your female co-workers actually going out and building what you design.

  19. I think we all know these kinds of issues also arise outside of technical fields. One of the businesses we work with is a law firm. They have about 100 attorneys, and about 15 of them are female. They have approximately 100 support staff (paralegals, secretaries, IT, HR, accounting, etc.), and about 85 of them are female. We had a very frank discussion with the senior partners of the firm (all male, all who brought in the most business and money for the firm). Running the accounting, compensation, insurance and production numbers, it became obvious that if they fired every female (15 attorneys, 85 support staff), and kept only the males (85 attorneys, 15 support staff), and shifted a few of their practices (going paperless, using billing software rather than dictating it to secretaries, etc.), the firm would not only significantly cut their expenses, their profitability would actually increase by more than 50% of their current numbers. When you boiled it all down and looked at what the females were actually doing, a huge portion of it was literally pointless (e.g., making copies of emails and other documents, and storing them in paper files when the vast majority of the partners used the existing electronic system to access the files, etc.). More than half the male partners, especially the younger partners, typed all of their own letters and documents themselves because it was more efficient (none of the female attorneys typed their own documents, lol). It was really amazing to see, in black and white, the amount of overhead they spent in paying this group of people to literally do nothing. There were exceptions – there were a handful of female staff who were more productive and less expensive than a few of their male counterparts, but not enough to make a significant difference to the bottom line. Two years after that discussion, the firm has hired 2 new female lawyers, and increased its support staff because it had to enlarge its HR department to meet some SJW requirements that one of its biggest clients was requiring it to make to keep its legal business. Profitability has also decreased. This is an extreme example, but its definitely not an isolated situation.

  20. The results from that LinkedIn polled are mind-blowing. The world runs on feelings, not performance…

  21. After I left my initial corporate job I spent a few months interviewing for new work in the same field. It ended up that everyone one of my potential new bosses would be overweight single women. I kid you not, 4 interviews leading to 4 potential land whales for bosses.
I was able to talk with someone who worked at one of the places I interviewed who would have been in the same department. He bemoaned the fact that his land whale boss had no life outside of work….so work became her social life. He was miserable to say the least. Everything people said in her department was taken personally by her, she was prone to emotional outbursts and was an absolute control freak, mostly because she had no control anywhere else in her life besides the people she got to boss around….thus it was abused.
I ended up changing careers outright, happier for it to.

    1. Did you get the notice before the interview about the company “no scent policy”. Most of those sensitive land whales have no problem with the smell of food.

  22. Recent storm, power lines down. Passing by a maintenance crew. Guys in hard hats, hi-vis jackets, chainsaws, cherry pickers, all the gear. Out n the wild wind and rain. One chick, hard hat, hi-vis jacket, clip board…….

  23. Heh, this article reminded me of a competition I had with my soldiers in the army. I had six new privates fresh from advanced training for their MOS at my last duty station, two were women. One a butch dyke, the other obviously grew up in a single mother’s home who was told she “don’t need no man.” After hearing their “I’m woman, hear me roar,” b.s. one to many times in formation or when inspecting the line I see the perfect opportunity to shatter that mentality with the training schedule with the weekly scheduled Sgt.’s Time.
I have the specialists set up the 15m antenna as an example for the standard and say that it’s a competition on who gets it up fastest afterwards will get off duty two hours early that Friday with a case of beer on me. I set it up as two man teams for three, with both teams of males set up with guys who can’t stand each other and the females on their own team.
Of course the females think they have it since they’re roommates and bffs, but they get smoked by both teams of the guys by an average of 15-20 minutes. Not surprisingly, they cried to the platoon daddy but I explained the situation to him and didn’t hear a peep about it afterwards.
As a side note, every female officer I had wasn’t worth shit as an officer, with only one female NCO being competent compared to the dozen or so I worked with/for in about eight years of service.

    1. Competent women in unform after over 4 years active service I can count on one hand.

      1. By competent, usually it means they either grew up in a farm, or are just full blown dykes. Not that I had a problem with dykes in the flightline. They already think they are men and do perform as such.

        1. Dykes suck. They pretend, but fail and then run to file EO complaints and pressure command to bump them out and up. Most of the senior women are building harems and protecting the “sisters.”
Honeslty, I only knew 1 female solider who was worth a damn, but even she knew her limitations, but did her best. She got out after her hitch and became a mother last I heard.

  24. Good article, Luke. I worked for an engineering firm as a software engineer writing tools for design/build projects. Got a new female director who reflected in a first meeting that she had (done = managed) “done QA, done production, so doing software engineers is the same”. Instant decision to move on.
BTW, she did DO a few fellows and they are still working on regaining their composure and reputations. So glad I read the wall graffiti and got OUT.

    1. Second meeting was to welcome a new male hire. In a room that was easily 2/3 women she blurted, “We need more women in IT.”

        1. You have NO idea. These are people who think iPads make for good business hardware. Point is, I don’t trust someone to manage that cannot understand basic concepts of what they manage.

  25. Awesome article Luke lol. Coming from another professional (albeit still working in the mostly male dominated Mining industry), you nailed it on the head and gave some practical advice — cheers!

  26. A high percentage of the women engineers I went to college with or worked with seemed to have issues with emotional control. Many were VERY quick to descend into anger or even rage at the slightest issue or disagreement. It seemed like they all had a chip on their shoulders. Not all mind you.. but a majority.
The conventional thinking (way back 20+ years ago) was that the women were reacting to having to “struggle in a male dominated environment” or some other nonsense. Over the years I have become more inclined to think the issue is genetic. Camille Paglia once described herself as a “male brain trapped in a female body”. I wonder if a lot of women who end up in STEM are something similar. Their brain wants to be ‘male’ but is stuck in a sea of estrogen.
Yes.. I am rambling a bit. I have been doing computer modeling all day.. my brain is a bit fried.

    1. I’m sure there are a minority of females who are more logic minded and less ruled by their feelings. But they still bleed once a month. And the exception proves the rule.

    2. Vocational training…using a high school diploma to fix what a college degree fucked up. Or what a woman in her mensies fucked up.

  27. This didn’t even consider Women’s Ways of Combat, claimed by feminists as the think-outside-the-box and legendary “multi-tasking” skills they will utilize when faced with moving a wounded comrade to safety.

  28. Agree with this article 100%. Though I’ve never worked in engineering there are some things that are similar across the board. For example “if some of the workers cannot handle their share, management will simply lump it onto the ones that can do it” this describes the education system to a T as well as “There’s only one thing that can be done with someone who is technically incompetent but not able to be fired, and that’s promote them high enough they can no longer cause any direct damage”.

    1. The old army motto captures that in 4 words, “fuck up, move up.” The line platoons didn’t want you, so the misfit was given a soft job in the HQ platoon or sent to regiment HQ who were then later promoted.
And command always wondered why retention of quality personnel always seemed elusive.

  29. One of the things I’ve noticed about women in particularly technical fields is that, in general, they are less interested in learning how to be better at what they do than men are. This is based mainly on my own experience, but as a pilot, who has worked with women on many occasions, I’ve noted how many times I’ve had to correct a woman pilot on rather basic knowledge and procedures as opposed to the very rare instances I’ve ever had to do so with men, and this is professional commercial aviation I’m talking about. In the Army, it was less so, because there weren’t many aviatrixes in the service to deal with, especially in Attack Aviation, but even there it was something of a struggle to teach these ladies the intricacies of the job, just because they weren’t really interested in it.
Men want to be considered good at what they do by their colleagues, by and large. It’s part of our identity and our self-esteem to know how good we are and where we need to improve. Women do not derive their self-esteem by what they do and how good they are at it; they derive their esteem mainly by who they are as women, and it’s more important to them to be part of a group, to develop social networks, and to gather male attention (but not necessarily male approval). I’ve personally seen women protect less-competent sisters in their groups from scrutiny, because to them the group is more important than the competence of any one of them. Objective excellence is not a criteria for being in their group; cooperation is (and, of course, knowing who the queen-bee is).
It’s not that women can’t be good at technical fields. I think medicine seems to suit women, but then again I’ve seen what medicine does to women the longer they stay in the field. After seeing a lot of death and emotional turmoil that losses induce, they become rather jaded in a way I find rather distasteful. It’s one thing to see that in a man, because we tend to expect men to be toughened. I wonder if such a job as a physician (but not a nurse) is a good thing for a potential wife to have, which may translate in how she interacts with me and any children we may have.

    1. The crucial difference, which someone noted above, is that women can excel at technical work when the technical work is theoretical. However, women feel less confident when that technical knowledge has to be applied to real-world situation. Add the pressure of a ticking clock, or passengers’ lives at stake, and that’s where the gap in gender performance really opens up.

  30. Meh, still find the engineering chick in the first picture hot. Wonder if he helps her boss raise that building with her knowledge of manual labor.

  31. I was working on a jobsite and the Boss said, “If you gotta take a leak today your gonna have to use the Porta-potties again, we gotta female on site today” . That about sums up the Incompetency of Co-ed work environment.

  32. I had a female SSgt in Afghanistan fuck up so badly that it damn near caused us to have to send all of our artillery and mortar sights to the US for repair. I was doing the turn over with my peer and we discovered this one tool was no longer calibrated, turns out there are less than 25 of these fucking things in existence! She spun that shit hard as fuck to the Major who blamed my peer because he was in charge! Like me he was a vehicle repair officer but in charge of Arms. Fucking bitch got promoted too.

    1. I read Outlaw Platoon, and the writer recalls a Female superior who was a bitch, and nobody liked her, and his Company of soldiers found a dog and they enjoyed playing with the dog on base, but the Female superior decided to be a Bitch and falsely claimed the dog attacked her , and the Soldiers had to either kill the Dog , or send it away, but the female superior lied about the Dog just to spite the Male soldiers . Women in a Co-ed environment is unnecessary Drama.

      1. I was my unit’s EEOC Officer for six whole months. It would’ve been longer, but thank goodness I was transferred to Europe. Anyway, every year I and the EEOC NCO would have to give a presentation on sexual harassment, and sexual and racial discrimination to everyone in the unit. As soon as we did, we noticed that in the month following this we would get our yearly complaints of discrimination and harassment. After all, we’re telling people, particularly anyone who isn’t white and male, how they can hurt others. Of course, nothing could be proven, but that doesn’t matter, because the accusation of impropriety stays in your file, especially if you’re a white male, throughout your career. This hurts your chances of promotion and command opportunities. You’re guilty, and even if you’re proven innocent, that complaint never leaves your file.

        1. Yup. I am lucky in one way, in the Marines we rarely have issues with racial accusations as we are all treated like shit. Women though is entirely different as we are so conservative as a culture they put their asses on a pedestal. I have noticed when I was in an intergrated unit that accusations went up with annual training.

      2. She was probably fucking one of the Soldiers and did it to get even. I have seen some shit test of epic proportion when a superior is a women and has the ability to make jr enlisted men their slaves.

    2. Segregated units is the only workable way to have women & other minorities in the military. Separate units for females, whites, blacks, hispanics, etc. Then there will be less friction AND fairer performance evaluation.

  33. Q, Where does “think outside the box” come from? A, From other similar left wing, feminist, matriarchal dogma foisted upon us since the 1950s by communist beatniks at the height of the cold war. The aim of the exercise is to teach you that traditional, linear, masculine, logical thought processes are wrong, so that hopefully more of our leadership “in the west” will make mistakes, giving the USSR some hope of competing against capitalist nations.
“don’t be so square man” “think outside the square or box” “think laterally, like a woman”. We have been fed this cow dung for more than half a century by the PC Thought Police & the quality of our work is slipping because of it.
200 to 400 years ago enlightened, conservative, masculine, christian protesters like Thomas Reid, John Locke, Edmund Burke reinvented “common sense realism” & the “scientific method” for the modern era when they studied the Greco/Roman classics & thought deeply about it all. Men have always had 14 billion extra brain cells worth of extra capacity than women to do this. After centuries of 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th wave feminism it shows.

Can confirm 100%. This is golden wisdom right here. Wish someone had told me this years ago. Would have saved me a TON of trouble.

    1. Look to me like it’s there. Sometimes comments get hung up if there’s a link.

      1. found it now, you are putting “best” at the top instead of most recent by default.

  35. I work in the tech industry, and it happened I’ve worked with (and for) a disproportionately large number of women. To be honest, there wasn’t a lot of difference between their technical ability and that of men I’ve worked with. Being an incompetent oxygen thief knows no gender, LOL.
However, and here’s the thing: There was *a lot* more bitchiness when women are involved. Guys will have disagreements, have pissing matches, beat chests, blunt swords.. and then shake hands and go back to work. But with women, although things may look “resolved”, her rage is smoldering away beneath the surface, waiting for the right time to flare up again. Often these are caused by the stupidest thing.. like we had one chick (one of the smarter ones actually) who liked wearing miniskirts. Someone put in a complaint to HR about her “provocative” dress. Guess who? The older fat woman, of course. From that point those two could never be put in the same team again, and they’d take every opportunity to snipe at each other, while the rest of us had to work around it. Women’s alliances also shift like the moving sands, to suit their mood (and hormones) at the time.. one minute they’re buddy-buddy with co-worker-A, next minute they’re pissed at A, and so then go crawling to co-worker B, etc.
To compound the problem, women show blatant favoritism to each other. Like a manager type taking an intern under her wing. They’re usually shamelessly bold about it, quoting such bullshit as “glass ceiling” and “combating the boys club”. In essence you end up with a “girls club” in every tech place.. now combine that with the bitchiness aspect above, and you have the reason why Mars probes get fucking lost in space.
The other major problem was, as we all know, when there’s mostly guys are around, adding women becomes distraction. I’ve seen it so many times, and God forgive me, I’ve fallen prey to it in my younger days. This is really an indictment on men, especially the cucky beta types which the tech field is full of.

    1. I’ve worked with Layer 2/3 networking for over twenty years and apart from the women being just as good I have the same experiences. 1 out of 20 women actually functioned like a team worker, when it came to competence and a human being. Maybe 1 of 100 guys did not work out well and the younger they were the worse they were. The latter actually went for both sexes.

      1. Meh, I was probably just lucky. I can appreciate how with Affirmative Action, “chicks in tech” and all the other programs, the bar just keeps getting lowered until every braindead Barbie can get into tech. It’s a horrifying prospect, especially as men who would otherwise have made good tech people, end up getting pushed into blue collar jobs where they can’t make the important design decisions (and they die earlier).

    2. You’ve clearly never worked in healthcare. LOL. It is absolutely rife with female incompetence.

      1. True. But then in an industry dominated by females, you’d expect a lot more incompetent women by sheer numbers. I guess my experience was atypical.. my particular tech field brought me into contact with admin and data management a fair bit, which tends to have more women, and are less technically demanding. Hence the incompetence factor was not as stark as in purely tech fields. Of course, those areas were dominated by the estrogen-fueled drama and strife I described earlier.
Mind you, I happened to work in a DB dev team of 4 women and 2 guys (inc myself). The women were all fairly competent.. but they split into 2 camps (the “oldies” vs. the “newbies”), and both my ears copped a bashing on a daily basis as each would use me as a sounding board against the other. Both Newbies ended up quitting. I have never worked with men who have quit over interpersonal dramas like this.

        1. I understand… We call this group of managers and senior employees (mostly women), The Cabal or, The Old Guard. They pretty much dictate to us from on-high, no matter if the decision will hurt the company, or if our idea is better. Doesn’t matter; they’re right, you’re wrong, and that’s that. If you fight it, you will experience the wrath of estrogen-induced rage.
I, too, am a senior employee, but I’ve questioned The Old Guard enough that they stuck me alone in a back office (I refer to it as ‘Siberia’). It’s an old server closet, so it is constantly freezing. I do BPA, Business Process Automation. They like my work, but don’t like me. They keep me around, in Siberia, generating ideas and not questioning them. Physical disconnectedness does wonders for this.
The great thing about this strange position is, I get to pretty much do whatever I want, with very little oversight. Sometimes a young female Analyst, who doesn’t know me, will come back and ask questions (and receive the aforementioned response). As long as I’m generating value, I receive a paycheck. Heck, I’ve spent days just doing random unrelated tasks, like moving boxes around. It floors me.

  36. I can’t tell you how prevalent incompetent women are in IT, in the healthcare industry. I’m talking women with no degrees, some without a single class beyond high school.
They become ‘friends’ with the beta/omega schlubs, in the hopes they will carry them through their jobs, if given a little female attention.
When they try this with me, I simply say, “Sorry, I can’t help you. You should reference X material. It’s all on SharePoint.” They get PISSED and usually storm off, or sidle up to some semi-autistic dork who will help them.

  37. I’m a programmer. I work in an office with about a dozen good looking young females…early to mid 20’s, in shape, dress well, great ass. They aren’t technical but mostly customer service reps, HR, stuff like that. Everyday is a battle for me between my brain and my [email protected] I have to constantly remind myself not to go into game and flirting. Any slip could get me a sexual harassment complaint.

    1. Never shit where you eat, brother. Cardinal rule #1: Never, ever, ever, date co-workers.

      1. Absolutely agree. At the top of any list for a man seeking a wife/GF… Don’t look for one at work.

  38. It’s really frustrating that in the discipline of engineering women are being crammed down our throats for the sake of “diversity.” This is ONE place where competence and hard work needs to completely eclipse the “need for diversity.” You want that airplane, bridge, rocket or any critical system to be built by diversity? Maybe there is some leniency in other avenues like web development, but I digress. My campus often has these “talks” or lectures on how women can enter this male dominated industry and “shatter the glass ceiling” by entering the work force.
Holy shit, they act like it’s actually more difficult to get a STEM job as a female. Employers practically fucking salivate at women engineers. If the woman is halfway competent she can expect at least a dozen job offers well before she graduates. In the last 2 years, I have seen every single female from the engineering disciplines have jobs right upon graduation. It does’t matter how technically competent they are, they will have an offer. Their emails and LinkedIn are filled with questions, offers for interviews and inquiries about their employment post graduation. If they are attractive, this generally increases 2 fold.

  39. Engineering comes down to having the knack. (yes I stole that from Dilbert, but it’s true) Nothing else matters as much. I can teach a person with knack what they don’t know but I can’t do anything with someone who doesn’t have it.
I’ve known one woman in my career who has the knack. Less educated than 99% of the people I’ve worked with but several hundred percent better than an institutionalized person who chose engineering. On the flip side the absolute worst co-worker I’ve ever had was a woman here on a H1B visa. Complete dead weight but megacorp wouldn’t fire her despite constant down sizings and GE style wage reduction systems (rank-and-yank). Mega corp had to make their HR numbers.
These institutionalized people who were good at pleasing teachers, taking tests, doing homework, etc are generally horrible engineers. I’ve encountered men and women like this. They are promoted to the level of their incompetence. Those who are technically good, with the knack, get stuck below management. Also, institutionalized people are the ones that play office politics.
People good at doing the work don’t have time for such crap. That’s
another reason why the idiots get promoted. They spend their time
working the angles to get promoted while the rest of us are doing the
work. It these people who chose engineering because they were good at making it through school work and dealing with institutional systems that need to be rooted out. I’d rather work with experienced machinists with HS diplomas than these people who decide their book knowledge trumps experience.
I simply don’t care about gender or anything else so long as a person has the knack for the job.

  40. “If she does ask, tell her that you’re happy to help, but she needs to go
through management to make sure they’re good with you spending time on
it. This will probably get her to back off, as she was looking for you
to freebie white knight for her while she could take the credit and not
    look stupid.”
Doubt that will get them to back off; most likely it will be seen as a great team-building experience by someone in management. Then you’ll be responsible for and shoulder the blame for her mistakes. Then you’re labeled a lousy trainer, and if you protest to this…then you’re not team-oriented.
Ignoring female coworkers is the better choice, but can bring it’s own set of consequences. Remember women are very social, and if a man ignores her (especially a female manager), then he’s unsociable and rude….or not a team-player.

    1. Absolutely agree with you. It’s a lose lose situation. If she does badly, you’re expected to pick up the slack. If you’re assigned to mentoring, she’ll stop trying, knowing you’ll be blamed.

  41. The first meme just about sums it up. Excellent article. Reminds me of engineering school and all the copier corners. Loved when personal feel and decisions had to be made, women and gpa junkies would grind and grind only to realize they had approached the problem completely wrong. Then again it was graded by people who couldn’t work outside of academia.
10 years later it is always interesting to see who actually knew how to do the work and is still in the field with PE licences or heavy technical positions. Most washed out as a matter of being to OCD or incompetent. The women are largely just token and if they are not than those companies have serious problems retaining engineers under said broads. Then again their screw ups drive my contracting business so go bless em.
Like Jack Nicholson said in “A Few Good Men”… “There is nothing on this earth sexier, believe me, gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning. Promote ’em all, I say, because this is true – if you haven’t gotten a blow-job from a superior officer, well, you’re just letting the best in life pass you by. ‘Course, my problem is, I’m a colonel, so I guess I’ll just have to keep taking cold showers until they elect some gal president.”

    1. If you deal with incompetent.. they are usually dumb as well. Typically these type play corporate pot stirring games –

  42. Follow the child rule and you’ll always win: Treat everyone like they’re 8 until proven otherwise. Life will be wonderful for you, since most people quit learning after college. Even that education is worthless.

  43. Just fire their ass and maybe that should send back some to the kitchen. If you can’t do the job, one solution, just get out of here.

    1. Wishful thinking. Do you have any idea how hard it is to fire a woman? When all the useless HR jobs are filled with women?

      1. A way to do it is to close the HR department. Have the departmental heads use external talent managers to shortlist and then conduct the remaining 2 steps of the interview for you.

        1. Considering how useless a HR department is, a company would save a huge lot of money doing that.

  44. Tip: Never date women from your workplace or any other place you frequent often (an example is like the front desk lady at the gym)
Dating a woman that ranks higher than you is suicide

  45. Having taken in the Red Pill knowledge I’ve come to realize women should be banned from entire sectors of the economy, especially construction, mine, not just on sites but in supply and logistics, sales etc as well.
The problems they cause from bitchy attitudes over the phone, lack of knowledge of products they’re selling but will never use, and intfere with efficency and cost time and money as men have to accomodate them.
All of this wrapped in their vanity rather than a focus on improving their job performance they feel entitled to their post and thus not only don’t improve but get worse over time..
A prime example is whenever I have a question about a product the woman taking the order never has any idea as to how it’s used it’s always a man at my supplier who calls me back and tells me whats what but only the woman can take my order which sometimes they can’t because they havr lots of useless meetings..

  46. ive had less trouble with female bosses than i have female coworkers…im always having to do extra work to help them do their job because they cant lift heavy stuff and things like that. not to mention when we deal with angry customers and a customer gets belligerent and out of line they get scared of the customer and its always either me or another male employee who has to go in there and kick them out. and they want equal pay to me? its absurd.

  47. in the oil industry a lot of the mass layoffs in the offices are women being cut, as they were being paid huge salaries under the guise that women engineers were producing the same as male petroleum engineers.

  48. Observations from an engineer at a gigantic U.S. based multinational. If she’s thin and feminine she is not from America. Take that to the bank. “I don’t know how to cook” and/or, “I don’t cook” are said with pride by millennial women (in vagina only) STEM drones. Meanwhile they’re at their desks hunched over with coffee next to the mouse staring at a computer screen getting flabbier and yet, confoundingly, still unable to see the lie notorious RBG told them. Being a corporate drone is better than being a housewife. If you’re on this site then you know it’s not. I digress. Anyway these cellulite encrusted dockers wearing out of breath after a flight of stairs creatures eventually find some hapless male engineer to wed them. As far as how to work with them, there’s really not much difference between an American STEM millennial man or woman. They’ve morphed into a strange androgynous species that seams to thrive under florescent lighting and conditioned air. I hope to retire before ‘safe zones’ make their way onto the corporate campus.

  49. I work in the timber industry. I don’t know one woman who owns a logging company in the tri-state region in which I work. I love it ! I can’t stand being around women who try to butt into a mans world and attempt to act like there ” just one of the guys.” Its repulsive. Honestly – I think to myself when I see it ..” you weren’t born with a dick stop acting like you have one”
I do know a number of women who run the offices for their husbands who own the logging companies. Nothing wrong with that.. most of the wives are actually pretty decent.

  50. I’m a friggin broad and honestly can’t stand the majority of em…yet the lot of you comment about hating women in general. Check your own damn inferiority at the door. Just a suggestion.

  51. Oh my God. I’m an Engineer, and have seen women bosses leave trails of bodies behind. Either they think firing the best employees (who are unfortunate to have their signatures on everything) makes it look like they’re doing something, or they start wars with colleagues that result in multiple firings. Whatever field you’re in, success is 80% human relations, and women can’t do that. Especially with other women: They HATE each other and will spend exorbitant amounts of clock time just on trying to fire each other. And while this is going on no money’s being made. Some of my best managers have been black men. But hands down, the worst employees ever are black managers; It’s constant fighting and ego.

    1. I agree. I work in a large global engineering company. The (admittedly few) senior women bosses we have have destroyed project budgets and schedules, and are far too quick to see sacking others as a solution to the problems they have created.

  52. Thanks for the fantastic article, Mr. Stranahan, and further insight as to how, exactly, American engineering is continuing to spin down into the toilet.

  53. Interestingly enough, I received some interesting news today. I earlier commented about working in an engineering firm that was going on about the need for more women and that I left. Well, since these “gals” liked to grab any idea that someone else had and grab credit (translation: I can’t do this myself) I left the firm. Left them holding the bag, so to speak.
Contacted a friend who works in quality assurance to find that four of them are leaving because they could not take the pressure of getting things right. Very much like the “half credit” meme above. I now know the phrase “Karma is a bitch” is absolutely correct as women hate women.

  54. I work with plenty of incompetent men. I don’t blame it on their sex, just the fact that they’re incompetent…..

    1. That’s not what the article about.
      The point was;
When a man is incompetent, he will be called on it. He will most certainly face consequences for being unable to perform his job or achieve satisfactory resolutions to the problems at hand.
Conversely, when a woman is incompetent she is shielded by the (workplace) pussy pass which ensures that her productivity can be well below the minimum acceptable level (For men) while still being lauded as an exemplary element of the work-force. This is not only damaging to the workplace but also very dangerous for men that are actually there to work, that are there to get results. Navigation of this dilemma must be careful and precise because women are given a gun and can pull the trigger whenever they like.
Do you understand this? it’s really not that complicated.

      1. I do understand it, I just happen to disagree with you.
I’ve never experienced women being given any special treatment in the workplace in regards to this issue, the vast majority of workplaces have guidelines that both men and women have to adhere to and disciplinary procedures that don’t discriminate according to sex or gender. If you feel like someone is getting special treatment because of their sex, that’s an issue with management in your particular workplace, not because women get more leeway in the workplace in general.

        1. Except you cannot “disagree” with reality.
You can try to deny it but reality will not bend to your emotion. Women are the privileged elite and ‘woman’ is overwhelmingly life’s easy difficulty setting. A woman can be completely incompetent and will be forgiven of all but the most egregious failures whereas a man will not. It is not ‘opinion’ but a statement of fact that women have it very easy in the scenarios that have been discussed of men.
The only way you could reconcile you “Not having experienced women being given special treatment” is if you either never held a job, or have never interacted with women…. both of which are very possible given your response.
Are you a millenial ? a hipster trust-fund baby? at this juncture that is what I find to be most likely.

        2. But it’s not reality. It’s your reality, which appears tone different from the majority of the modern worlds reality. You’ve not really provided anything to confirm your version of reality apart from vague claims.

        3. There is only one reality.
But you can be delusional if you want, I will not stop you.

        4. No, I’m not delusional.
And you’re opinion is not reality, it’s simply that, an opinion. Which I consider wrong and disagree with. That doesn’t make me delusional. Do you consider everyone who disagrees with you delusional?
What happened in your life to give you this view of woman, I’m curious?

        5. Well really, the amount of realities there are depends upon which scientific view/philosophy you subscribe to, Stephen Hawking believes there is more than one reality, I think I’d trust him over you tbh….
No, actually that’s your opinion, not a reality. Can I ask what happened in your past for you to have developed this view of woman? I’d be interested in it from a psychological point of view.
And just because someone disagrees with you doesn’t make them delusional, it just means they have a different opinion.

  55. This article rings so true. Having worked my way up in IT from help desk, programmer, senior programmer, application and database architect, I have worked on projects led by non technical females who frankly have no business trying to direct an IT project. They have no clue and seemingly embrace being ignorant and high on their ego and offer very little in the way of insight or problem solving. This immediately alienates the male IT staff because they realize they are being led by an idiot who got her job based on having a vagina. I have also worked with competent female IT staff but I usually find that only works well when she is “one of the boys”. If another female staff member joins the team, the morale takes a nosedive because females are horrible to each other in the workplace.

  56. Not exactly the same but;
I was/am a teacher and teach young adults (age 18-25 ish). I interact with other teachers regularly and there is this one female teacher a couple of years older than me that has been teaching longer than I have, has a way higher position in the school’s hierarchy and is (I will admit) a technically superior worker in what we teach. Basically she is better than me at what we are teaching beyond a shadow of a doubt.
That being said…. nearly every single student I have ever taught that has taken any of her classes has told me she was horrendous and they learned nothing. They all tell me she is very strict, unforgiving and forces rote memorization as the primary system of learning…. she is constantly micromanaging them and humiliates many of them if even one student fails to perform at any point.
Conversely, they have told me that they learned much more from me even though I am far more strict than she is. Generally speaking I don’t micromanage my students, I teach them once taking them step by step through a process and then I can trust them to do it by themselves after that, only checking in on their individual work every now and then to ensure no roadblocks have been hit. If I detect an error, I will point out the error, why it happened and how they can avoid it… focusing on preventing future reincidence rather than dogpiling on the student that made the mistake.
I never humiliate my students and make it very clear that as students, they will screw up over and over… the important thing is that they learn from their mistakes and go to the medical professionals that are instructing them for guidance when they do.
So basically what I am trying to say is, although I am a real hardass, it is important to me to foster trust and speak to them in a way that I know they will understand; The female teacher I mentioned does not care about that, she wants drones that will repeat whatever dogma she establishes. For me it is more important to me that the students *understand* the answers they’re giving me, I don’t care if they are able to recite what I said word for word if it is just jibberish in their mind… anyway although the female teacher is more technically proficient than I am, she has very little success teaching others how to perform.
Understanding a concept/work > Memorizing definitions, protocols and procedures
I have noticed women have a lot of trouble with what I just mentioned… they may learn/memorize a procedure in and out, memorizing every little bit of it, but they don’t really understand it. It’s a strange phenomenon which I believe is one of the core elements causing people to dislike female bosses. They don’t know how far to go, they don’t know where “the line” is, so they will not go far enough or they will go way too far and in the process, accomplish nothing while alienating everyone.
    etc.

    1. Everyone who went to school remembers how females did oral presentations. Rote memory. Then they regurgitated it at the same tempo they repeat it in their minds, while most guys just needed to understand the subject or make bullet points.
