Bulgaria Is A Great Destination For Masculine Men

I’m an American digital nomad guy who’s been living in Bulgaria for over a year, I’ve lived abroad for 6 years now in a couple of different countries and see more of a future for myself here than elsewhere. Bulgaria offers almost all of the quality of life, accouterments and conveniences that you’ll find in any of the developed western “democracies” but without the overwhelming feminism, globalism, “diversity” and cultural self loathing. You would think that you would have to choose between one or the other, but surprisingly here in this little country on the south eastern edge of Europe I’ve found both.

Me at the military museum, I was filming a videoblog about the airplane metaphor which explains why human rights are antithetical to human nature

The Women

This is probably what you’re most interested in so let’s talk about it first!

If you’re not convinced yet just Google Bulgarian women

From my article Seducing Sofia (Bulgaria)

Bulgarian women are aesthetically a whole lot closer to my fantasy girl; they are curvier and a little darker than Ukrainians yet refreshingly elegant and well put together compared to the frumpilicious Romanians. A bulgarski trotting down the avenue in her heels, form fitting jeans and fashionable scarf could easily be confused for a light skinned Colombiana, until she opened her mouth and spoke quite competent English.

Most of the Eastern European woman stereotypes apply; they are feminine and pleasant, relatively submissive and take extra care of their appearance  but they don’t have a ton of personality and aren’t really chatty like the modern western woman of Anglo extraction is and they don’t have a lot of money.

At least in Sofia, while not nearly as feminist as say German women, the women are modern European women;

They speak English well.

Most of them attend college and are eager to discuss their careers.

They are more family oriented. Almost all them come from nuclear families who they seem to respect and love.

I’ve met zero single mothers. I’m sure there are some here but I’ve met none in my social circle or dating here.

They are a little religious, they attend eastern church service a couple times a year but most are not pious practicing Christians.

I don’t meet a lot of married young women as I have elsewhere in Eastern Europe.

Like latinas you kiss them on both cheeks when greeting them.

Ukrainians age better, although most Bulgarian women over 35 are still relatively attractive and skinny. So if you’re considering a long term investment, take a good look at her mother and ask yourself if you in 20 years would be happy with an approximation of that in your bed every night.

I’ve slept with two women here, I’m not sure if that’s enough experience to rate the general sluttiness of the bulgarskis but based upon my experience and that of other guys I’ve talked with they are probably easier than Russian or Ukrainian girls but will require more investment than Western woman who you hookup with 2 hours after meeting them.

Progressivism and Political Correctness

I don’t go out of my way the push the bounds of polite conversation with strangers but I’ve gotten the distinct impression that political correctness is virtually none-existent here. An off-color joke about women or black people really won’t earn you social ostracism here.

I regularly attended English language meetup groups here and elsewhere I’ve found the content of these kinds of meetups to be a bit dull; the conversation is usually pretty limited to generic questions about where you’re from, where you’ve visited, what food you tried, etc. But here we would have these wide ranging philosophical discussions about history, sex, politics, business, morality and religion. No way you could discuss those sorts of things with strangers in the west without triggering and offending someone!

There was one gay parade in June but that’s it. I’ve seen no pride flags around town. No conspicuous gay bars. It’s acceptable (and often encouraged) to mock gays in social settings. I’ve encountered no women bragging about being bisexual.

Walking around the center I’ll occasionally see some deviant looking young people with the weird tie-dye hairstyle and torn alternative-look clothing but it’s not the norm.

In the English language meetup I told them about the #MeToo hysteria in the west and retroactive sexual consent laws which they found baffling.

I’ve met zero self identified feminists here and more than a couple women who seemed to revile feminism.

I’ve seen zero activism promoting mass migration. Bulgarians are naturally wary of Turks and Arabs.

Once on Facebook I saw an event posted for an antifa rally BUT it only had 7 people RSVP’d. In the year that I’ve lived here in the center I’ve seen zero public political squabbling or protesting going on.

Funnily, I see swastikas from time to time spray painted on buildings. I see more of those than I do leftist symbols. You’ll also see some pro-putin artwork here and there. I haven’t seen anything mocking Trump. Mostly you just see a lot of Bulgarian flags, walking down the street you really won’t forget what country you’re in.

Communism was not quite as cruel and tyrannical to Bulgarians as it was to Romanians or Russians but Bulgarians have a healthy skepticism of socialism and leftism.

Quality of Life

After spending time in over 25 countries Bulgaria is probably the best compromise I’ve found for quality of life vs cost of living.

The speed and reliability of the Wifi really matters to me and in Bulgaria you will not be disappointed! It’s very fast, almost everywhere in the country. It’s certainly better than in Spain and Germany, two countries I spent some time in.

In a year of living in the country I’ve generally felt very safe. My Bulgarian friends have advised me that petty violence is pretty rare here. So while you should always watch your back walking home from a bar you don’t need to worry much. The exception to this might be the neighborhoods or street corners where gypsies hang around; women steer clear of these areas after dark. In a year in the country the worst thing to happen to me was a taxi driver who ripped me off late one night.

The Capital Sofia

I found Sofia to be quiet cosmopolitan, I never ran out of entertainment options. There’s a wide spectrum of fine dining restaurants, hole-in-the-wall joints and cafes where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

The nightclubs and nightlife don’t quite measure up Western Europe, the United States or Medellin, Colombia but I certainly wasn’t bored by the nightlife. There’s a good scene for salsa and Kizomba dancing.

Apparently the city has over 70 escape rooms, of which I did several with my friends, which was a blast!

Unlike many European capitals there’s no river running through it with corresponding riverfront district but there is a big pedestrian boulevard lined with all sorts of great places to eat, drink and be merry.

Every day I would stroll right past a cool archaeological site downtown and the well preserved ruins of the ancient Roman city of Serdika.

The city has an abundance of parks and green spaces.

bulgaria sofia parks

Being the bourgeois blogger I am, I revile public transport and usually insist upon being chauffeured around in the finest of little yellow taxi cabs, but the few times I took public transport it was clean and very functional. The Sofia metro is very modern and on par with the metro in Germany and my native Denver, Colorado.

There is no Uber in Sofia but there’s an intuitive App called Taxime that is almost as good. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a taxi using it. A 15 minute taxi ride across town would cost $5 – $7.

Some of the streets, sidewalks and old buildings are kind of beat up and crumbling but it’s not nearly as bad as in some parts of Eastern Europe that I’ve visited. At least in Sofia, the infrastructure seems pretty on par with anywhere in western Europe. Although you do see some of those ugly communist apartment blocks around town.

Cost of Living

My meager freelancer income buys me a pretty fabulous existence here.

Enjoying a succulent dinner with friends at Shtastlivetsa (The Lucky Man) – I think it’s best restaurant in town!

I rented a room in a (not opulent but not terrible) flat right in the center of the city for about $300 monthly. A datenight dinner and drinks at a fancy restaurant is about $20.

Groceries are pretty good value, my weekly budget for the two simple healthy meals I eat a day at home was about $45 a week even accounting for some of the fancier organic foodstuffs I like. Like in many poorer countries eating out is often a better value, a tasty sandwich or salad at a cafe is about $3, and a filling sushi dish at a nicer restaurant is about $10. A decent beer about $3, a glass of wine is even cheaper and the shitty local beer is almost free.

I became a regular at the best cafe in the town that served high quality coffee which satisfied my snobbish tastes. A strong cafe Americano costs about $1.50. Nightclub cover charges are almost never more than $5.

The most outstanding value I found was a 24/7 accessible coworking space (in a not amazing location} for $40 a month.

I got a very relaxing but not exactly therapeutic (and definitely not sexy) 60 massage for about $22 which is a pretty good value.

We took several romantic weekend get away mini-vacations to the seaside. These decadent weekends of fine food, booze, sun and sex always ended up costing less than $150 total.

The Culture

This is southeastern Europe so think of Eastern European stereotypes of slavic stoicism with a bit of southern European charm and hospitality.

The Bulgarian mentality seems pretty healthy to me. They are proud of their little nation that has been around in one form or another for thousands of years. Their national psyche still seems to be overcoming the trauma of communism, they have some inbred humility unlike Russians or the french. Bulgarian men are hardworking and generally reliable but not particularly ambitious. Bulgarians have a quintessentially middle class mindset.

In this little country of only 7 million people, Bulgarians have a healthy in group preference and desire for self preservation.

As far as “diversity” there is a little; about 5% of the population are gypsies who everyone seems to hate, generally the gypsies seem to be a poorly behaved k-selected demographic but they don’t seem to cause any serious trouble like minorities do the West. Bulgarians are really NOT in a hurry to apologize for history and redistribute their resources and property to gypsies. Turkish or Bulgarian Muslims are about 15% of the population although different sources and people I’ve talked with argue that it’s a lower percentage – as far as I can tell they are very well behaved Muslims; it’s been decades since a Muslim terrorist attack here and this survey found no radicalisation among Bulgaria’s Muslims.

Walking around the center of the capitol I’ll see a black guy here and there but I really suspect that they are tourists, this country has closed borders and is really not in a hurry to import Africans. The two black guys that live here that I know actually speak Bulgarian and have families here. I’ve seen zero race mixing propaganda here. So there’s a little “diversity” but it’s really not being shoved down the collective throat of the country.

They seem to really like Americans despite our bombing their cities into rubble in WW2. They also like the anglo British cheeky sense of humor and accent.

The People

I was quite impressed with the general cultural sophistication of (especially) the young people. A number of young Bulgarians have read Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, and Ayn Rand. They have a cogent understanding of the more recent history of WW2 and the soviet union.

Many young Bulgarians have remarkably good English – better than what you’ll hear in the neighborhood I grew up in Denver. My friend Nikolay here out of the blue dropped used the word profane to describe the local pop music and once my girlfriend was describing an novel and she said that book is very… grandiloquent.

They regard themselves as offspring of the Byzantines and the Thracians. They enjoy relaying stories and legends of saints and heroes of their past.

Meanwhile… in Bulgaria

Walking around Sofia, people generally dress in a none-retarded way. A lot of guys looking professional in suits or dress shirts and women looking feminine wearing casual summer dresses or skirts. I’d love to see more Bulgarian women dressing in the really traditional long slavic gowns but am just happy that they don’t seem to be succumbing to the lazy hipster style sweatpants and tennis shoes look like many of Europe’s women are.

Bulgarians do like to smoke and drink but it’s not as bad as in some Eastern European countries. In over a year here I’m yet to encounter drunk Bulgarians really making asses out of themselves.

The men are generally competent and hardworking. My landlord is a gruff yet friendly guy, when I signed my lease I worried to myself: How is this guy going to screw me over with this lease? But a year later he’s been a pretty fair and honest landlord that fixed things when they were broken.

Interestingly here women’s middle names are always their father’s first names and there’s no way to change it. You’re stuck with your father’s name for life. Their surname changes when they marry like elsewhere in the world.

Male Female Dynamics

A lot of the problems of feminism and cultural decline that we bemoan in the manosphere are really manifestations of economic forces on humans.

“Menver”

Take my hometown of Denver, Colorado. For the past 10 years it’s gone through incredible economic boom times, job and business opportunities abound there. Thus, it’s earned the nickname Menver because it’s attracted so many men in search of the best job market.

I’ve seen more than a few of my old blue pilled friends and acquaintances on Facebook complaining about the ultra competitive sexual marketplace for men – or as they experience it, how hard it is to just get a nice girlfriend. Thus, the single men of Denver will need to do A LOT of personal development, hit the gym or drop some serious coin on the most fly threads (that or start dealing cocaine, become a nightclub DJ or a “model photographer”) to receive sex, affection and (perhaps) commitment from a pool of single women that are increasingly slovenly, overweight and entitled.

In Bulgaria you have the opposite dynamic, the economy and job market here is not quiet as bad as in say Greece or Ukraine, but most ambitious young men are eager to move to London or Germany for better job prospects, in fact the emigration of young people is one of the driving factors of population decline in Bulgaria (I don’t think population decline is necessarily a bad thing though). Thus more young Bulgarian women are watching their girlish figures, dressing in an alluring, feminine style and generally being pleasant in hopes of locking down one of the dwindling number of attractive single young Bulgarian men in the country.

One of first things I noticed in Bulgaria was an Airbnb host of mine was a guy who was, frankly, a loser; he had poor personal hygiene, mediocre personality and style and unimpressive career prospects. During the evenings he would sit around watching soccer and drinking crappy beer alone BUT he actually had a more or less cute young girlfriend – no way that guy would have a girlfriend in Menver!

The Weather

I found Bulgaria quiet a bastion from the soul chilling (and sock soaking) winter of Eastern Europe. I arrived in early Jan, the Balkan winter is downright moderate compared to the Romania and Ukraine. During the Bulgarian winter you get about 45 days of really cold weather and slippery sidewalks.

Bulgaria assuaged my Vitamin D deficiency, many days were sunny and I could actually hang out on my patio. During the spring and summer it rained about every other day for a few hours, not a torrential downpour but it’s a good idea to bring an umbrella with you. If you’re a nomadic seducer in Europe, looking to geoarbitrage your lifestyle and income, Bulgaria is a great option during the colder months. As you can see in this videoblog about meditation that I filmed in the center, the weather is gloomy but not bad enough to keep you holled up in your flat.

If you’re not sold yet on Bulgaria…

I’ll add that it’s relatively undiscovered by the nomadic PUA/digital nomad crowd, unlike some place like Ukraine or Colombia where western men flock like the salmon of Capistrano in search of some femininity and cultural sanity.

In case you’re wondering that cover image at the top is the Asen Monument in the center of beautiful Veliko Târnovo. According to the tourism website it commemorates the…

…uprising of Asen and Petar, which led to the liberation of Bulgaria from the Byzantine Empire. The sword located in the middle is a symbol of the power and prosperity of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.

It really is a beautiful place

Travel vlogs are not really my foray so checkout this excellent one by the very red pilled Iconoclast.

  1. So, basically Bulgaria is described as a country that was not affected by any of the cultural and societal changes from the last decades. Or am I confusing something with the author?

    1. The author is clearly deluded. In fact, he probably never visited Bulgaria himself.

    2. I met a few Bulgarians, they were cunts. Then again, they were the “immigrant” type, i.e. the lowest class of Bulgarian.
Makes you wonder about this immigration thing, you get this idea that Mexicans are cunts, and Arabs are cunts and so forth, but it’s hard to really say since most of the immigrants are bottom-rung cunts.

      1. I use to work with a Bulgarian woman (here in the USA). She is married, 35+, and a mother (so I never flirted or anything). I will say that I found her very impressive. She was not only fluent in Bulgarian and English, but also Russian and freaking Chinese!!!! She also spoke Italian and German. She was highly intelligent, well educated, very organized, competent, and diligent. She was also very thin, attractive, quite feminine, open and friendly to everyone, and stylishly dressed.
Plus she has the look that I like, long black hair with creamy white skin. Sadly she has brown eyes. You put that combo together with blue or green eyes and it is magical.
Nevertheless, she gave me a good impression of Bulgarian women.

        1. Careful with the multilingual EE women. They speak the language of penises past and future.

      2. How were they cunts? Maybe they were just patriotic, protective, masculine, and that offended your wimpy ears.
What do you want them to do, grovel because you’re an American?

      3. @DemSlaveOwners: I agree and disagree with your statement about Bulgarians. What I agree on is that most immigrants from these countries you aforementioned have nasty dispositions in 2018. I was with 4 different women from southeastern Europe in 2010, and from my experience at that time, it was a welcome rug away from the bitchy, feminist, obese Americunt of almost one decade ago.
Over the last 4 years or so, these once cordial immigrant girls have adopted ‘Western’ values (which really aren’t values at all) or been Obamanized. It really is sad though, because getting a dinner date with a nice Bulgarian girl staying in the US or Canada on a work visa in 2010 was a relatively easy job to do. Because our immigration policy today primarily brings in men from Iraq, Syria, Somalia and Mexico, either these once nice immigrant girls are taken or getting 200 responses from men on Tinder because they’re now a rare breed.

      Obviously not.
      1. birthrate is way below what is considered healthy at 1.53 (2.1 is replacement level).

Most of Eastern Europe is comparable. Actually Eastern Europe is more messed up than the Western part. People in the manosphere like to praise Poland specifically….Poland’s numbers (birthrate of 1.3, high divorce rates and 1/5 of families headed by a single mom) are one of the worst in Europe…if not the worst.
Writer of the article should have done his research before writing this article. The women act nice to you because you’re a gullible rich foreigner. They’re trying to hustle some money out of you.

      1. The white dick is proving impotent, wherever it is
I don’t understand where even in a traditional culture they can’t reproduce more.
What is the fertility rate in Russia? Poland? Ukraine? Romania?

        1. Wise brown owl July 11, 2018
          Russia – 1.75
          Poland – 1.32
          Ukraine – 1.51
          Romania – 1.52
Those cultures aren’t as traditional as you think. Years of communism and after that westernization have fundamentally killed off much of what you can call traditional. People might act traditional on the surface but underneath it’s all about the material things in life.

        2. Of course you don’t understand why – you’re a low IQ moron. Research r-selection vs. k-selection and you’ll learn why Whites, who have always had low birthrates relative to the turd world, consistently outperform every other group on the planet. Quality vs. Quantity – it’s natural law. Can’t have both.

        3. @John
Yes, great quality of beta men and feminist hambeasts.
best of the best right there!!

      2. Yep, in fact Bulgaria lost more than approximately 25% of its population in the last 30 years, it went from nearly 9 million to under 7 million right now. Bulgaria is probably the contry with the worst demographic crisis in the world now maybe only contested with Latvia or something like that. How is that about being a “great, traditional and untainted from the west country” huh?

      3. @John: That is a complete inaccurate statement. The white population of the world (excluding any whites in Asia, Africa, and Latin America) in 1900 was approximately 30% or 500 million of the total world population of 1,650 (in billions). 408 million people in Europe, 82 million people in North (Anglo) America, and 6 million people in Oceania.
This can be easily verified by analyzing world population statistics of 1900.

  2. Really?! Waking up without religion? Sam Ju Harris? I thought no one took that guy seriously any longer. Leftists hate him cause he made some bad remarks at the Muslims, right winged dudes dislike him cause he is/was an establishment shill that promotes the Darwinist goobly goo sprinkled with Buddhism.

  3. Just a few thoughts
    1. Bulgarian women – if they are your type, by all means go for them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,as they say.
    2. Women being “traditional” – Not really. Bulgaria is a former communist country. The communist regime destroyed traditional morals. Whatever left of it, was destroyed after the end of communism and the consequent economic collapse followed and dog-eat-dog mentality.
2.Outside of the main tourist/expat areas – crime is everywhere. Yes, it is a poor, third- world country.
    3. Corruption – it is part of the system (like in most of Eastern Europe)
    4. If you are a Westerner, the locals will try ripping you off everywhere they can.
    5. The state healthcare system is horrendously bad and private healthcare facilities are limited and expensive
    6. Most young Bulgarians have left since the country joined the EU (2007) or are about to leave the country.
ROK seems to be obsessed with post-communist hellholes (and their cheap women). But that’s ok. Let all the idiots go there, while real men find decent women in decent countries without problems.

    1. Yeah, u summarized it well. The only traditional thing about BG wahmen is that they generally like strong men but problem is they mean strong as in thugs and criminals and even that applies generally to the older generations. Younger wahmen in the majority are now being hipsterized and their main goal in life is to emigrate to the west and live the starbucks life. If u come from the west to BG watch out as many sluts try to use western guys only to get a free ticket for westward migration. I can summarize BG society like this: post-apocalyptic every man for himself mentality + hardcore copying of western materialistic values – SJW bullshit, but now considering that the artsy farsty hipster values are spreading like plague among the youngest generations I think soon there will be total SJW overtake.

      1. If it brings you any solace…this is true for all countries in the world today. Once consumerism is well established in the psychology of the populace it’s a dog eats dog world.

    2. We should all go to Asian backwaters and wife up single mother h00kers aye Detroit. Fukkin snake.

    3. I will say this.
I worked with a Bulgarian guy for a few years.
He was older than me, perhaps 7 – 10 years older, and grew up in the Soviet era. He stayed long after the wall fell. He described a not so pleasant life their. Perhaps better for a Westerner with money. But from his description, it did not sound so great.

    4. Have you spent much time in Bulgaria?
You bring up the question of state/government corruption. This is something I’ve been pondering lately. Eastern Europe is always criticized for being corrupt but western Europe and north america seem pretty corrupt also. The big difference seems to be that the corrupt politicians in the west are hellbent on replacing the native population whereas in Eastern Europe the politicians are pretty opposed to replacement migration.
I’ve lived in Eastern Europe for over 2 years now and I’ve never experienced any corruption or injustice. Eastern Europe feels like a pretty libertarian place to me.

      1. Have you started any local businesses? It seems your income stream comes 100% from overseas, and you’re just spending it into the local economy. That’s always welcome, and you won’t run into problems. The real test of one’s ability is making money by selling goods or services back into the local economy.
When you’ve done this, you’ll be in a better position to judge corruption.

        1. That’s what I figured. I’ve also noticed that there’s two types of bribes that can be asked for. The turn-a-blind-eye type is for when you’ve run a red light or you’re not complying with a licensing regulation, whereas the whats-in-it-for-me type is where you’re complying with the law but you still need to pay officials just to get a process moving. The first type of corruption can actually be beneficial to a country, whereas the second type is purely parasitic. I suppose there’s even a third type, called pay-me-or-else, which is normally levied by gangsters on business owners but, in genuine third world countries like Tajikistan, is used by the police to extort perfectly legal businesses for no reason and no benefit to the business.
Which types can we expect in Bulgaria?

    5. Is there anything on ROK you agree on or you you get off by coming here and oppose every article or anything that seems to offer some hope to someone but never offer anything if I did not know anybetter I would say you are ((them)).

    1. That poor West side of the island deserves a genocide. The low lives that exist there are responsible for the deforestation of most of their country, that place never seen a bigger ecological pest than those blacks.

  4. U really think the eastern block is filled with cheap women & that the gorgeous & smart girls moved west? Lol.
The amount of good for nothing Eastern sluts that abandoned their home countries is beyond count.

    1. He is probably right about the health care. I cant imagine going in for even stitches in any 3rd world country.

      1. If you can’t even stitch your own own wounds why call yourself ‘superman’?

    2. Most Bulgarian girls (most Eastern European girls, in fact) are incredibly shallow, materialistic and money-grabbing. Much more so than your average American, British women.
“Traditional and conservative”, they are not. The cheapest hookers in western Europe are nearly always Bulgarians and Romanians.

      1. Korean girls are more materialistic, but much more ladylike than American girls. There is often a trade off.

        1. Slim
I may be associating with the wrong crowd, or I may be simply unlucky but, after a decade or so dealing with scores of Koreans, about the local ladies I can say this: many of them are, so to speak, hot as fuck. Basically a tall version of the Japs, with properly shaped legs and properly manicured teeth, not to mention the fantastically smooth skin and a much more fashionable, and slutty, dressing style.
On the other hand they seem to me the most vulgar and fucked-up among the East Asian crowd: they’re loud, pushy and prone to random anger outbursts. They also gulp (like their male counterparts) prodigious amounts of soju&beer and 80% of their vocabulary seems to be made of the usual variations on the shippal/sekki theme.
Ah they also seem to cheat on their partners quite happily and easily not to mention the sky-high divorce rate (one of the top 5 in the world, if I remember correctly).

        2. @Ajeoshi
“On the other hand they seem to me the most vulgar and fucked-up among the East Asian crowd: they’re loud, pushy and prone to random anger outbursts. The drinking part is the problem.
Yes, in Korea there is a whole lot of drinking. Alcoholism is a terrible problem there. In Seoul I have witnessed crazy drunk girls screaming in the street at 2 AM. Not to mention men laying passed out on the sidewalk in front of 7-11
The Korean girls I deal with are here in NY, and they do not drink that much (at least in front of me).
I suppose I should restate my position based upon my experiences:
Korean Escorts here in NY are more materialistic than American Escorts, but they are also more ladylike.

      2. “The cheapest hookers in western Europe are nearly always Bulgarians and Romanians.”
prostitutes from poorer countries are the cheapest wherever you are in the world that does not reflect the moral status of the country thery come from.Ethiopian prostitutes are the cheapest in the african community but Ethiopa has more traditinal and morally upright larger population than most african countries however its poorer than most of them so you cant use prostitutes who immigrate from broken homes into europe and compare them with the normal village life of majority of ethiopian who mary as virgins

  5. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/81-year-old-toronto-van-attack-victim-left-bleeding-on-sidewalk-works-to-regain-independence-1.4739303
Alek Minassian didn’t do anything wrong. She was likely a feminist in her early years. If every feminist in Canada would suffer the same fate as that lady (losing both legs), then it’s no other than KARMIC justice because they don’t have legs to march on the streets with Antifa or to run to police to falsely accuse men of street harassment.
Alek Minassian is a HERO for doing this; if every frustrated male in Toronto can get every militant femoid to lose their limbs, then that is way better than the ER way.

  6. A native from Bulgaria here. Lot of bullshit and idealization in the article. First, googling Bulgarian wahmen is not like Bulgarian wahmen in real life, while there is certainly the myth of the great Bulgarian genetics and stuff I can assure that BG wahmen now are complete british-ized fat, pale, pretentious, smokin and drinking degenerates. The idea that BG is against migration is also very two-faced, on the one hand BG people are naturally racist and don’t have problem with hating anyone but on the other hand BG people are one of the most sell-out materialists which combined with low living standards means that BGs will do everything for monyz like let millions of migrants into europe. The largest taliban concentation camp was in my town, at the peak it had 4-5k talibanen now there is nobody, can u guess where those guys went? So please stop romanticizing, nobody is guarding europe, for few hunded euros any barbarian is cleared to invade. Also if u are sick of the degenerate and destructive western modern culture… well then BG is not ur place, right now the greatest and most important thing for BG people is to emigrate to the west and/or emulate the western way of life, on the other hand if u can afford to take ur new slut to Dubai then yeah, u hit the jackpot I guess.

    1. I didn’t know the thing about the Taliban concentrating in a Bulgarian town. Evidence for that?
I don’t think it’s perfect, conservative country and I do live in the very most cosmopolitan part — the center of Sofia — but after traveling for 6 years it’s the best compromise I’ve found between cultural sanity and quality of life.

      1. Google “Harmanli refugee centre”. And yes for a western, Bulgaria might be a nice compromise but I speak from the point of view of a native here. You know there is that one think about Bulgarians that there is something like cult, almost worship of foreigners from the west and don’t get me wrong its not merely because of the money, it’s more the social aspect of things. BGs generally see foreigners in two types, they hate and condemn foreigners from poor 3rd world countries and as I said worship ones from successful developed countries, that’s why u can’t feel the real interpersonal dynamics here in BG, being a foreigner from the west I suppose everybody is nice to u and stuff, but if u were an average native guy u would have been in a different position.

  7. Is this a fucking joke? This guy looks like he’d be passed round like a wank mag at biker club!

  8. “They seem to really like Americans despite our bombing their cities into rubble in WW2”
Eastern Europe “likes Americans” because the US played major role in destroying communism (in addition to many other factors). who bombed whom in 1940s and why is absolutely irrelevant.
    otherwise interesting article.

    1. @3561526
      Y O U A R E T O T A L L Y W R O N G.
You have forgotten that the two superpower blocks were Allied in World War II.
This meant that there was no real resistance to communism, witnessing the fact that the United States, at no place on the globe, used its superior military force to stop the Communists’ advance. How could anyone expect them to do that after having taken total war with the Soviet against the only Bolshevik-enemy state in Europe ….?

      1. @Toothpicker:
no actually I’m totally right. like i already mentioned i grew up in the Soviet Union. you don’t seem to realize that WWII was over 70 years ago.
as a side note do you realize that after the war the Soviets mostly got peanuts and useless leftovers – Eastern Europe. Stalin didn’t even lead the victory parade in Moscow as he considered the war total failure.

      2. The USA helped Spread Communism TO 11 Nations.
That’s partly why Patton was furious.

    2. Whites tend to be overly responsible, unlike blacks and browns, who live off the Govt teat just fine.
This means they opt for less children.
Birth cycles ebb and flow but with the Zio Planned invasion, this puts whites at a dilemma, socially and culturally.
Bkacksvwill muh dick a ho and not think a moment about an out of wedlock birth. Baby mama will breed like a sow this way having 6-9 pick a ninny’s while whitey pays the tab. For now.
This will change soon under Trump.

      1. No dude. Personal responsibility is not why EASTERN Europeans have a falling birth rate. Germans, maybe….
Personally I think it’s because they’re miserable and resent each other. Some cultures are full of love and acceptance while some are full of fear and isolation.

    3. The USA allied with Ussr. Communist ussr.
General Patton was furious. He wanted to rearm Germany and invade ussr. He became j ew wise. He died after an “accident” shortly thereafter. A Jewish Dr assigned to him made sure of it.

  9. “Interestingly here women’s middle names are always their father’s first names and there’s no way to change it”
sure as hell you can’t change it because that middle name is akin to possessive form of your father’s name (for men and women). it’s a constant that you can’t change (unless your father changes the name maybe).

  10. @3561526, the US destroyed communism? Really? WW2 was all about fighting communism? Really? It’s not important who bombed who? Really? I can see why you find Mr Bean so interesting!

    1. @soxmis: i grew up in the Soviet Union so i know something about it. you’re just not even there yet to discuss the subject. just listen to what people tell you and learn.

  11. I’m beginning to understand the logic of these labels.
Mullheres from poor countries that are submissive = traditional woman to marry.
White woman who wants to be housewife = lazy materialist.
If a woman from a poor country (eastern europe, asia, latin america) can cook, she is reserved deserves to be rewarded, if she is a white woman who wants to marry and have children, she is nothing but a lazy materialist and opportunist.
    Prejudice against whites detected.
I wanted to know where all the alphas are going, like the ones I find on this site. Any white woman, personally, knows that men flee from compromise as the devil flees from the cross.

    1. There is no such thing as a wahman from a poor country, regardless brown or white shithole, that genuinely wants to be submissive housewife. If she wanted this she could get it where she already lives. The only reason to lure a man from a wealthy country when u are from a poor one is to become richer and to climb the social ladder. Don’t delude yourself, nobody marries up in order to be a simple housewife, that’s like saying that men who go to thailand are doing it for charity and not because of sex hunger.

      1. Trollstein
You (being from Bulgaria) are able to see Bulgarian women for what they really are.
The author of this article (and many contributors to ROK) are from White, lower-middle class families from the flyover states of the US. They have little life experience with women and haven’t been exposed to the harsh realities of life outside the US.. He will fall in love with the first Bulgarian (Ukrainian/Polish/ Hungarian etc) girl who gives them a blowjob and tells him she loves him. The best case scenario once his money runs out she will live him. He will beg the US Embassy for a return ticket home. The worst case scenario he will marry her and bring her to the US. In that case the “romance” and the marriage will end once she gets the US Green Card.

        1. @Peter Frazer – Trollstein is a neurotic, introverted, fearful guy who “game” isn’t working for. He blames game rather than accepting it’s his own temperament. There’s no massive insights to be gained.
I don’t understand the rage against an American like the author enjoying the Foreigner Effect.
It’s true there’s a LOT of Romanian and Bulgarian hookers in the west, but that’s natural given they’re poor with good skin tones and figures.
My general advice for all women from these sort of countries is: Keep the Pimp Hand Strong

        2. That’s why workers are the best.
Stay single and pay a 2nd or 3rd world woman a pittance to give you an hour/night/week of pleasure, then dump her.
You are right when you say that those poor women don’t really want to be submissive. They are doing it out of necessity to attract a rich man.
So use them for the time you need them and move on.

        3. @borderraid
Out of curioisity I looked up the definition of “neurotic” and yes I admit that u are right for most of the symptoms. And it’s not that I claim that game doesn’t work, it is very situational, in some situations it might work in others might not. What is actually game? Game in essence is to project ur social domination over some wahman, naturally when u are of higher social status such as being a westerner in some shithole country, then yes game might work, after all demonstrating that u can spend few hundred bucks just in a single evening can be very impressing to any shithole woman who might be living with 50 dollars a week. On the other hand, I dare u to go and try game tactics in some nightclubs in let’s say, New York or Germany or whatever, I bet u won’t have the same results, ur social standing will be equal or even lower compared to the wahmen there (considering that the average pussy in the west has more social value than the average man just because… pussy).

        4. @Trollstein,
          Flashing cash /= game.
In fact, if flashing cash works, actual game is not required.

      2. I’m in Thailand because I’m a philanthropist, helping young women pay their education fees and expenses.

        1. I agree with John.
I can’t wait to get some money and go all over the world and enjoy these 2nd/3rd world women.
As a western man, it’s the best way.
Treat yourself, western men..you deserve it after a lifetime of being treated like shit

      3. @Trollstein – I’m sad for you that you think only rich men are the only ones getting laid in western niteclubs. The men who get laid there have mostly the following traits – they’re happy, sociable, high energy, savy, shameless/unshy, brave and unapologetically horny. And they’re not scared or too self conscious to dance. You could learn from them. Because you seem to have none of these traits. You are the common denominator in your failures with club girls in Bulgaria and Western Europe. Be happy !

    2. Yeah — a lot of the commentators on this site are needlessly cynical about women. I try to accurately represent Bulgarian women in my article and you can decide if you want to pursue them.

      1. U can’t accurately represent given population when u are not a native to that group. That’s like Arabs and African mandingos writing articles about how chill and nice and easy are white wahmen while in the same time the average white dude knows things are little bit different for him, everything depends on the perspective.

    3. man are not flee traditional white woman who want to marry and stay at home and be good wives they are runninmg away from devorce rape which usually occures within 3 yrs offmarriage with a white cunt

  12. Great article. I appreciate the thorough information. Bulgaria has been on my radar since I hire some freelancers there from time to time. They have been professional and talented, unlike most in the third world. The women have been pretty hot unless they are faking their pictures (unlikely). The cost of living is among the lowest in EE. Just spending a year or two there would allow a well-paid freelancer to save thousands of dollars.
Notice how the people trashing your article can’t suggest any better alternatives? Because most of them are liars and cvcks with ulterior motives for commenting here. They are not commenting in good faith, they are here because they hate us and want to exercise subtle influence over the discussion board, to steer it in a more k0sher direction.

    1. To be fair, there are LOTS of alternatives to Eastern Europe – but you have to find those places carefully. You won’t hear about those countries on ROK because the man who went there to find wives wouldn’t advertise those places here -it is better to keep them secret. Those places require planning and you also have to be street-smart.
As for Bulgaria, the women may be cheap but the cost of living ( when you actually expect Western standards) isn’t cheap at all.
As a general rule : where you as a European or American men can go without the need to apply for a tourist visa probably has already been touched by the degeneracy and your chances to find a unicorn there are pretty low. (Hint: you don’t need to apply for visa if you want to visit Bulgaria.)

      1. Well shit … that’s pretty much the whole world. Which countries do we still need visas for? Vietnam… China.. Russia.. Kazakhstan.. Azerbaijan.. Iran? None of them sound great for womanhunting to be honest.

  13. I doesn’t matter what country you go to. Because feminism is spreading to all countries. I have been to 20 countries all bitches are the same I just came back from Kenya and even the Kenyan women are screaming meetoo. I just pump and dump women I want a quiet life…….

      1. You are a disgusting fetishist. Day of the rope will not be kind to you.

  14. I have to disagree with the author on a few points. To wit: the young women are mostly loyal to their man but in the big cities that is “flexible”. There are many money-grubbers of both the male/female type. True, there are those people who help out a stranger or someone who is lost or crippled, for instance.
But, there is still a mesure of the Soviet mentality such as being indifferent clinic/hospital staff, arrogant neighbors, and the like.
The good thing about the BG-ers is that they like to do business vis-a-vis and not always rely on phones and computers.
The national food is basic with some good variations but with each passing year there is more junk food in grocers’ stores and the cost of living rises from time-to-time.

  15. J Livingstone
Dude, if you were unable to find a reasonably decent girlfriend in Denver , Colorado (one of the greatest cities int he US)…an avearge Eastern European (Bulgarian)whore will eat you alive for breakfast…

  16. Masculine men, manly men, alpha men etc… have no need to flee their own problems like little bitches and become glorified sex tourists.
    Our thots are being cunts?
    Whose fault is that?
    Fix it cucks.

  17. We’re getting advice from a guy (i) who says only banged 2 girls in a year in Bulgaria, (ii) has some really poor taste in dressing/grooming, (iii) clearly is not taking care of his body, (iv) has some weird videos describing stuff like meditation in order to feel happy (red pill, it is??). He seems to be a nice dude, but come on… I even feel sad for him, to move from US to Bulgaria in order to chase girls. All the best to him anyway

    1. Yes I only banged 2 girls BUT I got into a long term relationship with one of them — which I wanted. If I wasan’t in a healthy monogamous relationship my notch count would be higher.
Also, keep in mind that a lot of these manosphere bloggers are LYING about banging 10, 20 or 30 girls on a few month’s trip. Most of them probably have notch counts closer to mine.

      1. In a country where women are pleasant and traditional, I imagine the need for ‘notches’ isn’t there.
Why not have a relationship with a woman you like.
Western men still in America can only think in terms of ‘notch counts’

  18. Cost living ….and the first thing this guy talks about is wifi.
Then he says he’s high class showing himself eating at a low class cafe . Chances are he went with his parents

    1. @ DHCA
I worked with a Bulgarian guy for years.
The scenes he described were not so great.

  19. I spent a week in Sofia so am not an expert but left with a pretty good impression. Food was good. Cost of living was very reasonable even in the center. Center of the city was nice with a good walking street. women were relatively flirtatious, dressed relatively well (not as good as Romania), and not glued to their smart phones. English was spoken widely in the center at least and some of the mid sized towns were reported to be quite attractive and nice.
    However,
    A. once you got out of the center of Sofia, you were right back into dreary Ussr style architecture so the nice parts were small in size. Bulgaria is very backwards in the countryside.
    B. There is definitely some good options for entertainment but not as many as the author implies
    C. Bulgaria has one of the highest per capita smoking rates so that ultimately impacts how women age
    D. Visas are hard to get for non eu foreigners who don’t have a job there from what I have read
    E. Overall quality of life seems good but medical is rated mediocre and pollution can get bad in Sofia

    1. MY Comment,
What is this American obsession with medical care? Are you all so obese and unhealthy you need hospital treatment all the time? I’ve not had any medical care for the last 10 years (OK, a few accident repairs) and I’m an old man. What is wrong with today’s young people? Live a bit, take a risk or two!

  20. I remember watching a YouTube clip where a French guy was mocking Bulgaria for being poor.
It’s interesting that countries (whether in Europe or out of Europe) that aren’t doing great financially, and done have this glut of creature comforts, are able to maintain traditional culture more easily.
It’s almost as if you have to make a choice between excess/superflux of consumerism, and a basic lifestyle with a strong, unified culture with traditional gender roles.
    I’ll take the latter.

    1. (Not so) Wise Brown Owl,
Easily understood, without welfare and prosperity, you don’t get mass immigration.
Without prosperity, a country doesn’t generate worthless liberals screaming for ‘equality’.
Without $$$$$$$, there are no (((people))) to destroy your culture.

    2. The point I try to make early in my article is that after years of living in various countries I find Bulgaria to be the best compromise between quality of life and cultural sanity.

      1. Fair point.
You have undertaken a worthy expedition and you have been rewarded for it.
Most men don’t have the guts that you do to step out and seek better pastures.
I am brown and would love to find a brown country I could live in (I prefer my women).

    3. Enough with the delusions already! First of all, BG is not that much of a poor country that the stereotypes proclaim, believe me every 15-30yrs old slut here has an iphone and travels roughly every year around all of western europe. And what is with the “eastern europe is traditional” delusion? Maybe that stereotype is perpetuated by travel ads showing wahmen in folk costumes? U know, BG is as traditional as is the chance of seeing 17th century pilgrims walking down times square.

  21. The question should not be what is illegal. The question should be: “Is anything legal?”
The question should not be what rights Americans have. The question should be: “Do Americans have any rights?”

  22. Haters will always hate…
Anyways, another Bulgarian here. To all of you guys who consider Bulgarian women cheap, money-chasing skanks… Yes, some are, I agree, but not all and each one of them! There are also Bulgarian girls who are totally normal, pretty intelligent, very open-minded, have well-paying jobs and careers, and they by no means judge men by their nationality, income or migration opportunity they can provide for those girls, believe it or not. In fact, all they look for in a man is someone who has the right attitude towards them, who is able to make them laugh without being fake and/or stupid, someone smart enough to hold a conversation with on various topics, who does not demean them one way or another, someone honest and straightforward…a decent man in a nutshell. Such a girl does not care if that man has an expensive car or takes her to Dubai…She only cares for who that man is as a person and if he treats her with respect, where money is not involved! She would even not allow him to pay the bill on a date sometimes because guess what? It would be on her.
Unfortunately, a lot of guys nowadays have no clue what it takes to be real men…regardless of their culture or home country. No doubt having a cool car, the latest iPhone or the finances for exotic holidays can get them girls…shallow, cheap, easy ones- the type described by the majority of guys above. They do not care about a man’s personality and the way they are treated…all they seek is money, someone who can buy them stuff and satisfy their every whim. And of course, there is only one single thing these girls can provide in return as opposed to the high-quality girls who can be genuine, faithful, loving, caring, thoughtful and to whom attitude plays a big role in their relationships with men, Bulgarian or else. They have pretty strong value systems and would not sleep with someone just because he looks like he can “put them out of the misery in that 3rd world country”. On the other hand good vibe, charisma, nice attitude and intelligence may very well do the job… So I think that the author is right about the investment thing here- financial in regards to sluts in Bulgaria, emotional in regards to quality women. You just get what you “pay” for. It’s as simple as that.

      1. Well, Mr Livingston, if you are in a long term relationship with a Bulgarian woman I believe you think of her as a high-quality one and since she has chosen you she certainly considers you a real high-quality man, which is not very common.

    1. “There are also Bulgarian girls who are totally normal, pretty intelligent, very open-minded, have well-paying jobs and careers, ”
You’re obviously new to this site. All of these are code words for feminism:
      totally normal = psycho
pretty intelligent = college degree and can’t shut up about it
      open-minded = ho
      well-paying jobs = bitch
career = old chick, no family, bitter
None of these are attractive for men in these parts of the internet.

      1. I have no idea what is the reason for your bitterness towards women but as long as you have that negative mindset no high quality woman of any race and/or nationality will ever take you seriously, not to mention sleep with you. You sound like you consider all girls hoes and if so, hoes is all you’re gonna get because truth is that supply always depends on demand. Peace.

        1. Not all girls/women are hoes…far from it. Just pointing out that the qualities he listed aren’t what makes a woman attractive – as a long term investment. Quite the opposite actually. Careerism isn’t a functional trait for a future wife and mother of your children. Open-mindedness sounds good but all to often means licentiousness in practice. Nothing wrong with a well paying job. But two things should be kept in mind:
          1. female financial independence is a cause for marital instability
          2. if the wife outearns the husband your screwed…the man basically becomes the bitch in the relationship.
Again, nothing wrong with a well paying job but men and women should understand that it comes with its pro’s and con’s.
“Divorce is a risk when she earns more than him”
          https://www.ft.com/content/aae4ac84-d755-11e3-a47c-00144feabdc0
“As females experience greater levels of success
in the labor market, they also tend to experience higher levels of divorce. This occurs for
two important reasons. First, greater financial independence clearly makes the decision
to seek a divorce much simpler. In this respect, developing countries that have
concentrated on guaranteeing equal economic status for females have reduced the burden
of living with unhappy marriages strictly for economic reasons. However, it also appears
that a female’s economic success may, indeed, cause friction within the family. The
results of the estimations in this paper clearly indicate that as the female’s earnings
become a larger portion of total family income, the likelihood of divorce increases even
while controlling for general success in the labor market (
          1 ∆ˆ).”
          https://www.rose-hulman.edu/~bremmer/professional/divorce_micro.pdf

    2. Bulgarian dude… Basically, if your Bulgarian woman is young and owns a cell phone (not necessarily a smartphone even though I am convinced 100% of them own smartphones) you can bet she is not traditional. On top of that she is neither high quality, faithful, loving, caring, thoughtful, normal, pretty intelligent, etc.
If you disagree then you are being dishonest with yourself.

      1. I’ve stated my opinion already and I’m entitled to it. Take it or leave it.

  23. What about cell phone addiction? Here in Romania it is literally a disease infecting young and older women in all major cities. Nearly anywhere you look, 4 women in 5 are talking on the phone…

  24. Fuck that…..the idea of going to another country for a woman isn’t at all for masculine men….it’s for faggot ass incels with zero ability to hook up with American girls. I’ll stick to my big city here in SoCal…..where 8s, 9s, and 10s are literally everywhere and will fuck my brown dick just to stick it to the MAGA faggots.

    1. Lol no bro. So Cal girls are massively overrated. I lived in LA for 4 years and my British friend came and visited and said he thought Europe had hotter girls just about everywhere (Western Europe and Eastern Europe) . I’m sorry but too many of your Mexican Aztec family has flooded SoCal and uglified it. Maybe if they were Puerto Rican that would be another story.

  25. A lot of organic small-scale backyard farming in the countryside, from what I’ve seen on the couchsurfing TV shows.
Definitely put Bulgaria on my list, as soon as I find it on the map.

  26. Yet another Bulgarian here. The young people here have a saying: “You can always spot the American”. There’s this understanding that Americans are very stupid and shallow with a superiority complex, which is why the women they often see are the very stupid and shallow ones that need the cash or the Green Card.
No one (aside from the women mentioned above) wants these people around. No one likes these types of people and most, as a result, are very skeptical of Americans and Brits visiting here, just because of their tendency to act like tremendous retards. You see plenty of that on the beach resorts. What you see there as well, is how other westerners like the French, Italians and others are well behaved, but not the Anglosphere ones.
I can share an experience with one of my friends from West Virginia that I met on contractual work there. He came over to visit me in Bulgaria last summer during my social group’s beach trip and boy was it hard to control the American in him. He needed a whole week to understand the fact that he is from the west does not grant him a pussy pass. Once he was shepherded in to the right cultural norms here, he actually had a good time without being bitter that he did not have sex. The author is correct in the fact that a lot of women are fairly traditional here and as a result, they don’t like foreigners, be they from the west.
My impresson of the author was of an American, trying to shake off that which Americans are known for here, which is good. But then the comment section is filled with incels, crying about “muh dik”. We don’t like blacks and browns, but we don’t like those types of westerners either.

  27. Thanks for the info. I do appreciate it, but, you really need to run your stuff through a spell-checker first and also maybe give it to an editor/friend/ to check for goofy grammar mistakes you seem prone to make.
I say this because this things are important among educated people. People who want to credit you with having info/experience they do not have – but if you sound like a moron and don’t care enough to fix easily fixed mistakes it’s difficult to take you seriously.
    cheers.

  28. @illegal mexican
fuckk off you inferior mixed race, smalled dick, short, poor ass low IQ beaner.
