3 Ways Living In New York City Hinders Spiritual Growth

It’s becoming increasingly difficult for any ordinary man to be close to God in the West. Several adversaries to a holy lifestyle, both materially and intellectually, are within our society, which our elitist friends have empowered unapologetically over the last several generations. However, I believe that New York City is a uniquely satanic center where various forces unite against he who wants to be holy.

As someone who is trying to deepen his Orthodox Christian faith while living in the city, and having grown up here, I am obliged to inform my generation and the next of dangers to spiritual growth. In the end, it is mostly a man who is at fault for isolating himself from the Lord. But here are three huge ways being in New York City doesn’t help with that.

1. Radical Feminism

If you wondered what New Yorker women are like, this is it. This sums it up.

Apart from ruining sustainable long-term intimacy between the sexes, and furthering the emasculation of men, radical feminism has leveled the integrity of women. They have been brainwashed to dress immodestly and flaunt their bodies openly in the name of self-expression and independence. To dress immodestly is one of the only ways a female can claim freedom. Humorously, the “liberated” have become enslaved to the validation of men, especially on social media. Nonetheless, it is the ruling culture in the Big Apple.

In New York City, you can’t walk a mile without encountering a woman dressed immodestly. Times Square shoots images of sexualized women at you from all directions. It’s impossible to use public transportation without being exposed to dozens of hundreds of sexualized women, both in advertisements and in real life. Apart from that, New York City’s nightlife brings out levels of sexual immorality you wouldn’t find in the American Midwest.

Abortion is another plague in the city- the Big Apple is full of pro-choice men and women. That means there are hundreds of dead babies, killed by their “liberated” would-be mothers. I say these women are far from liberated and are enslaved to Satan.

But wait, there’s more…

2. The LGBTQ

Do you want your kids to grow up near this lunatic?

Oh boy, the LGBTQ have astronomical levels of support from New Yorkers, and mainly from big corporations. New Yorkers generally accept the LGBTQ and their inconsistent and anti-human nature dogmas and even parade them on the streets through the “Pride Month” of June. Several pockets of Manhattan, like Chelsea, East and West Village, are LGBTQ towns. I remember walking through West Village not so long ago, and although I still found enjoyment and sincere appreciation of people socializing and drinking, I could feel the sinfulness.

For both radical feminism and the LGBTQ, there is an insane pressure to approve of both. I stand my ground, but my peers aren’t as firm. As Christians, we are kind to those we hold dear and those we encounter, but the American Left takes advantage of this. Not approving of a lifestyle is not the same as me being “homophobic.” This reasoning does not compute with many New Yorkers.

3. Materialism

How many of these people will be willing to wait outside church this long?

It’s important to keep in mind that materialism conflicts with some of the most fundamental laws God gave to us.

  • Not having other gods before God (which often meant sculptures or idols)
  • No making nor worshiping a carved image (again, a sculpture or idol)
  • Don’t murder (people often murder for money or drugs)
  • Don’t steal
  • Don’t covet your neighbor’s house, donkey, etc. (which leads to breaking the other commandments not to steal, murder, etc.)

With that said, America is a capitalist society. New York City is, hands-down, the capital city of capitalism in the West. And its people are materialistic beyond comprehension.

People camp outside of Apple stores so they can be the first ones to enter. Some wait on hour-long lines for gadgets. People are obsessed with fashionable clothing.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting things, but New Yorkers dial it up to 100. Many can say that New Yorkers are materialistic because we have plenty of stores and businesses, and that people like to have displays of wealth, but I believe New Yorkers are trying to make up for the spiritual void within them and in their lives.

None of this compares to the ultimate materialistic killer of spiritual growth: smartphone addiction. With a smartphone, you can access pornography. You can shop. You can play games. You can lose yourself in social media.

The smartphone craze is idolatry. We charge our phones, customize them, and lose our minds if we drop them. Mothers take their babies out for a ride in the stroller through the neighborhood while texting on their devices and being utterly unaware of their surroundings.

A positive note: I predict that within a few months in New York City, being on the train and not using your smartphone will be a secret handshake between “woke” people. That would be cool.

Conclusion

This article is by no means an absolute, exhaustive laundry list of things that are potential spiritual distractions in the Big Apple. But my purpose was merely to give a preview of the spiritual wasteland that is New York City as a cautionary warning for any man who wants to stay or even live here and raise a family. There are temptations around every corner, and violations of God’s Word are commonplace. I realized that one can be angered by these negative influences, let alone be frustrated. Both are detrimental to one’s spiritual well-being.

The churches are not empty, but they are full of old people, and I am the youngest in any church I set foot in, aside from two babies who can hardly walk.

I pray that the youth will come to the Orthodox Church as I have, and I pray for those who seek to advance spiritually in a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.

“For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world.”
– 1 John 2:16, NKJV

  1. Every man is entitled to his opinion, but IMO, as a native, it’s not so bad here.
    – I never use my internet phone when walking or commuting.
    – Very easy to ignore the SJWs and “queer pride” types.
    – Can get just about anything you want here.
    – The food and variety is just about unmatched anywhere else in the US and possibly the world
    – A guy with a modicum of ambition can make a great living here
    – With the exception of perhaps SoCal and maybe South Florida, we have the hottest escorts. A whole lot of them too. (I realize this is not important to everyone).
    – Don’t need a car. I have one, but use it only once or twice a week.
    – Beautiful parks.
    Some Downsides:
    – High cost of property / renting
    – Highly unionized
    – High taxes.
    – Being a “right winger” in a state that will most likely never again vote for a conservative President, Senator or Governor.
    – 1 hr+ commute from ‘burbs to work. If you are willing to live in Manhattan and pay the high rent, then this can be mitigated. Bronx/Bkln/Queens is also an alternative.

    1. As for religion, as a lapsed Catholic, religion is not very important to me.
But I would think a person serious about religion and faith would be able to live anywhere and avoid the distractions. There are loads of churches here. Including plenty of Eastern Orthodox churches.

    2. If I hit on New York women should I wear a MAGA hat, or will that scare them away?

      1. Does a “MAGA” hat scare them away where you live?
BTW, I am not a good choice for advice on “hitting on women”.
        I bang escorts.
I do not approach “civilians”. Never have I even considered it, TBH.
An escort would be fine with a guy wearing MAGA hat, or any other hat, as long as you pay her rate.

        1. If one wears a MAGA hat here, they will usually get a few bad stares from people. However, I would advise him to be prepared to be physically assaulted at some point.

        2. AS, how affordable is to bang pretty escorts regularly on a long run in NYC?
I am not making fun of you, I am just genuinely curious.
(Mind you, I have been happily married for over 17 years and never used the service of “escorts”.)

        3. @ Pete
Yes, I know that is a serious question, and yes, I do remember your personal situation.
300 to 400 an hour for 7s to 9s and usually 600 and up for legit 10s. Although when young a very pretty girl may charge the lower fee until she learns she can get more. I see girls 3 to 4 times a week. Once in a while I will treat myself to a 10, but usually I am happy enough with the standard agency girls. Fyi, I am pretty much a cheapskate with all other aspects of my life. Small apt, old car, non-fancy clothes, cheap booze, etc..

        4. Automaticslim, 600 USD per hour? Leave that fucking country ASAP. You men are being ripped off, even by your prostitutes. In Eastern Europe you will fuck solid 10s for a hundred. I am earning 1000 USD per month (with a diploma and foreign language skills) so paying 600 USD to a woman who does not even pay taxes on it seems ridiculous and over the top.

        5. @Hun
I only go for the super expensive ones once in a while.
I usually stick eith the 300 to 400 an hr girls.
I think we hsd this conversation here about a year ago or so. Some mentioned hot Romanian girls at 50 Euros or something like that. Was that you?

        6. Dear AutomaticSlim, we were discussing the topic a few times earlier. But I definitely was not the one advising to fuck Romanian girls for EUR 50. Because, see, I am a Hungarian, and we Hungarians hate, hate, HATE Romanians. In fact, Romanians are our greatest enemies. Romania is occupying a big part of Hungary with millions of ethnic Hungarians living in it. Namely Transsylvania, since the Trianon Treaty of 1920. That was one of the reasons we sided with Hitler in WW2, because with German help we took back some of that territory – only to lose it again when we lost that war, too…
However, I would like to ask for your advice and opinion on one thing. You are older than me, more experienced, a man of the world. I am not mocking you and your attitude towards women and prostitution, I am sincerely interested in your view. So, I was very shy as a young man, an incel. I frequented prostitutes starting from my teenage years, continuing in my twenties and well into my early 30s. Now I am nearly 40 and all I want is to get my money back from the Female half of the world population, and fuck them for free. Since taking the Red Pill I have the courage I lacked as a young man. And I really do not wish to spend a dime on any one of them, because seriously, they should have fucked me for free when I was young. So, do you think possible to make this dream of mine come true?

        7. @ warriorhun
I think if not you telling me about the Romanian chicks, then it must have been Balkaner (hope he’s doing OK).
I can see we have had similar teenage years!
I will absolutely remember about Romania vs Hungary.
Yeah, I remember that we have similar “Slim” builds. And you got over some problems earlier in life and really had a great change. I think that is awesome.
TBH, I don’t mind paying because the way I see it, what else am I going to spend on? And I do absolutely want to die broke. It is my goal.
          But, that being said…
Yes, I do know of a way to accomplish what you want, and there is a good online friend of mine (hopefully coming to NYC this summer) who is doing it. He makes dates with hot young girls on SA and then “scams” them. Pays them in fake money…I am not kidding! He has it down to a science. Prints fake money online (legally), put it in envelope, and then gets the girl as drunk as possible. Bangs her, leaves the envelope, and then runs like hell when he is out the door. The idea is to pick young, dumb waitresses, store clerks and college students who don’t check the envelope. His success rate is very good. If you do try it, just remember to be careful and know when to retreat. Good luck!

        8. That Sugar Baby scam is funny, although I’ve had lots of legitimate success on SA.com in numerous South American locals. I just pay them per date (as opposed to monthly). I usually dangle a “long-time” date in front of their noses (more $$$), but end up banging them on “short-time” dates for less $$$. Even still, short-time typically lasts 3-5 hours and includes dinner, drinks and 2 nuts. In fact, I’m going on a date with a new SA.com chica tomorrow night — might try to bang her for free with only some promises of future “extravagance”. I also just dumped an SA.com gal from Toronto! Gringas just can’t compete with Latinas…

      2. Why would anyone wear one of those things? They’d look like a goober.

    3. You’re missing the point – it’s not about quality of living as much as it is quality of spiritual holiness//completeness in accordance to Yahuah’s laws. I agree with most of what you write here, but as a whoremonger, it may occur to you, your perspective is solely of the world, not the spirit.

      1. Sure.
Understand that I believe in God.
He however, does not believe in me. So I do what I have to do.

        1. #MeToo …… fuck him.
Although I do still play the Catholic card to avoid having to use condoms.

        2. God doesn’t go away from you. He is always there for you. It’s you who goes away from him.

    4. LOL, the libertarian, selfish moron who thinks Hong Kong is a libertarian utopia, who also spends 1,300 bucks a week on whores, and who hates children…..Pretty sure your opinion is BS, and dudes like you are the problem with this nation. You do realize that your life is a meaningless pile of shit? You are not a “right winger” by the way. WOW, glad you like the PUBLIC parks though.

      1. How’s your life going Wes?
Are you having fun? Getting laid?
Have a cute girlfriend who adores you and wants to have your kids?
Or are you bitter and miserable?
BTW, I have never been anything but honest here. No “bs” from me.
        Take care.

        1. AS… your life isn’t mine, but one thing I’ve always loved about you here is your honesty. In fact, sometimes you are too hard on yourself, considering you’re actually a very successful guy career-wise.

        2. @ BED
          Thanks for the kind words!
I always enjoy your very honest posts as well.
Hope things are going well and you have a great summer.

      2. @wes
        Re. Right wing.
I have supported Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul each time they ran for President. Are old enough to even know who they are?

    5. The city is also being gentrified. As recently as 1940 it was 92% European, whiter than the US average. Recently it was only 35% White(50% for Manhattan) but those numbers will surge once the coloureds are gone due to the high rents, and the projects are torn down.
It’s true that most people ignore these queer and other lunatic fringe groups that you tend to find in all cities. Since I have residences in the suburbs, country and city I would also say that the city people are no more materialistic than anywhere else, maybe even less so. You also don’t find them glued to cells or laptops since they have to interact with real people more and these novelty toys lost their appeal long before the proles even had one.
I don’t know if they’re more spiritual but you certainly have more religion. When Billy Graham used to have his crusades he’d pack stadiums in NY, more than anywhere else. And then you have a million Orthodox Jews around too.And of course you have all sorts of other religions.

  2. Great article! I believe the only way to effect change is to BE the change we want to see.
With that being said, it’s unlikely that society will be influenced by us enough to change significantly towards the good. The best we can do is influence those in our daily lives, and teach our children faith and how to live it out.

    1. That article is good for blue pill/snowflake/SJW indoctrination. We’ll call them collectively the Bitchosphere.

      1. Only I’m rich (now) and never had a problem getting women in my life. What is wrong with manosphere guys? They never seem to get women and always in jail like roosh

  3. Not really in total agreement here. While NYC has more than its fair share of radical feminists, LGBTQs, and Social Justice Warriors .. they are certainly NOT the majority. There are a lot of people here who are hard working and not particularly political because they are too busy having lives. A big problem we do have is people moving here from flyover states who them proceed to piss and moan about things here and want to change them so it’s more like where they come from. I suspect the author is one of these.

    1. If the author is really from the Midwest, his moaning is really pointless.
The only city in the whole of the Midwest that could possibly compete with NYC is Chicago.
Other than that city, the Midwest is really bad.

      1. For the most part Midwest == fat girls.
Try to find a girl in her 20s under 130 in the Midwest.
Not saying they don’t exist, but few and far between.

  4. A mans relationship with himself or his god should be so strong that no amount of faggots or sjws should hinder him or hurt his feels.

  5. New York is a fucking shit hole. Dirty, expensive, asshole people, shitty weather, smelly, over crowded, noisy and everybody is attached to their smartphones. New York is only good to earn money BUT other then that there is nothing here but to spend spend spend and be an asshole in the process. Get New York money then leave as soon as you have enough.

    1. Oh, it’s not so bad.
      There are assholes everywhere.
I traveled across the country and lived in Ca. for 2 years and there were plenty of assholes. The difference is that in other areas of the country, the assholes (and others) will make small talk, which I hate! Us New Yorkers generally don’t do that. I don’t say “hello” or “good morning” to strangers and I don’t want them talking to me.
As far as taking your money elsewhere, sure, that’s a good plan. But what about poon? Will you be happy spending your NY money on some fat cow from the midwest or a landwhale from Podunk Arkansas? The only places I would consider living other than NY are California (SoCal or Bay area) or South Florida (Palm Beach or Broward counties). And as I stated in my prior comment, I am very right wing. I don’t care about being surrounded by liberals as they affect me not one bit.

      1. AS: I have a feeling you’ll come around eventually. And by that, I mean you’ll take your NYC money when you cash out and move outside of the US to enjoy a rather princely retirement where there are cheap young whores, good food with decent variety, enjoyable climate, relatively stable politics and old-school culture / gender relations. You’ll then look back on spending $1,000 + USD per week on escorts with some serious regret. But I understand you earn well in NYC and are trapped in an earn / want / spend cycle currently, but you’re clever enough to eventually liberate yourself from that, me thinks…

        1. Thanks AC.
          Hopefully one day.
Probably when I can’t find work here anymore.

        2. Speaking of which, I may have to break my NYC cherry early next year and lay eyes on the decadence and degeneration over the course of a long weekend! I’ve been to upper NY state and Buffalo, but never to the City. I’ve got a few acquaintances in Manhattan and their lifestyle stories are always good for mild amusement and disbelief. If I do make it, I’d enjoy meeting up with you, AutomaticSlim, and you can show me the ropes. Cheap booze on me! Expensive whores? Not so much… 😉

        3. Sure thing AC.
Give me a shout when you’re here. Would be great to meet you.

    2. Romello
I think there is more to New York City than what you have just described.

    1. Yeah, I remember (((lolknee))). Think he went with the other lost boys to that other site that doesn’t hold them accountable for shitposting.

      1. I think that’s about right…Ghost of Jefferson, lolknee, BourbonMan and assorted bro-friends all left together last summer. The pop up on that other “Kings” site, and occasionally on Chateau Heartiste. GOJ actually used to drop some pretty good posts around here.

        1. Isn’t Heartiste like 50 years old? And what other “Kings” site do you mean?

        2. @john dodds….That is because most of those guys are libertarians. Not only did they bitch about stereotypical libertarian shit, but they would also preach about how bad our culture has become, and how anti-family it is, while also talking about how they bang sluts…just more boomer/gen-x morons. I mean, you literally have a guy named automatic slim on this comment section NOW DEFENDING New York as “not that bad” even though it is a high tax shithole full of asshole people, but at least it has “beautiful” PUBLIC parks and hot escorts. Oh, but remember, he is a “right winger”. Fucking unbelievable.

      2. Hakan – A King’s Castle is the site. Incredibly boring the couple times I lurked there.

        1. @Hakan
Don’t know his bio…his thought process has timeless elements to it, and from a standpoint the likes of Aurelius, imo.
heartiste has a pretty deep spectrum of knowledge and knows how to land a point. I wouldn’t care too much if he were 20, 50 or 80

      3. @ JD
Notive how this “wes” guy mentions me quite a bit. I think if I stopped posting comments he’d stop coming to this site.

    2. Still here in different forms. Ran a Detroit angle for a while until he got outed enough that people stopped taking him seriously. Are you one of his partners in Crime Hakan?

    1. I have asked Roosh several times here to do a NYC meetup.
      Hopefully it will happen.

      1. Maybe we should just do it anyway. Get some burner emails, set up a meeting point like how Roosh does it. If even 3 solid people show up, it’ll be a success.

  6. NYC is a semi-hostile, amoral, no-BS kind of place where, if you were academically/creatively hot shit in whatever town you grew up in, you’ll find out how high or low on the “totem pole of life” you really are. Weakness is weeded out pretty quickly, especially in Manhattan. It’s a test bed for big ideas, high achievers and high earners. The winters are harsh in this concrete jungle. I attained much creative and professional success in the NYC/Manhattan pressure cooker in my post-college days. It launched me into the next phase of my career and helped me hone all sorts of alpha skills…ate a lot of red pills. I worked day and night and competed against the world’s best. But it was a total rate race and energy drainer. I left at age 26 with a “good riddance” on my tongue but no regrets in my heart. You get out of NYC what you put into it.

    1. If you aren’t a j3w or one of their pet golem of the day you’ll get used up and spit out.
If you’re a straight white guy who is not an obvious SJW hipster (and even they’ll have a hard time) looking to make it, fuhgetaboutit.
In most fields you’ll do the grunt work if you get the job at all unless you’re very j3wish looking with a potentially j3wish name.
It’s called j3w york for a reason. They run the show and dominate all high profit industries and do mitzvahs for each other by giving each other the good jobs while the outsiders are left to scramble for the crazy hour, low income / low recognition / low status jobs.

  7. Spent three weeks in NYC three years ago. ( I know your experiences as a visitor may be different of that of a full-time resident.)
    Positives
    1. Lots of opportunities – if you are a student or a have freshly graduated (whatever your field) NYC is the place to be.
    2. Lots of attractive young women (of all ethnic background) – if you focus on recent arrival from abroad (who have not been corrupted by the local system yet) you may find gold
    3. If you are healthy and single but cannot afford a car, NY’s public transportation can take you anywhere you need to get, for an affordable price.
    4. Anonimity
If you have the right skills and qualification and can at least make a living in NYC, people will leave you alone. No-one cares where are you from which, believe me, is a good thing.
    Negatives
    1. The cost of buying/renting your home (the situation is probably still better in NYC than in London, UK)
    2. Most of The human interactions in the Big Apple a
are really shallow and lots of New Yorkers may come across as unfriendly or even downright rude. (Unlike LA or Miami where nearly everyone seemed to be nice -or at least reasonable)
    3. Crime – after two decades of improvement, crime rates have recently started to increase again in NYC (But that is the case with most towns and cities nowadays, sadly)
Having said that, I disagree with the author about the Midwestern cities (a very large region) being any better. With the exception of Chicago, the Midwest has little to offer to a young man. The towns and cities are either post-industrial hell-holes or provincial, rural shitholes with deprivation, corruption, unemployment, crime – and ensuing social problems. Example: Columbus, OH has every bit of a degeneracy that NYC might possibly have but does not have the positives that New York City has.

  8. It is strange how there is a convergence of PUA’s, MGTOW, religious/spiritual men, men who yearn for traditional values and culture, red-pillers, natural conservative types and MAGA men.
I have seen common themes on websites all over the net. The extreme excesses of leftism, social justice ‘warriors,’ feminazis, whorish minded ‘women,’ anti-white/anti-American zealots and deviants of all kinds has pushed many men of all age groups to the breaking point.
Even many formerly ‘liberal’ men are becoming disgusted and gravitating to a surprising resurgence of old-time conservative values. Sadly, few young women in our society see the sick and self-destructive nature of the modern corporate slave/hive mind.
I would love to see someone write about this, how men are becoming so much more conservative even as our local female population is going full on retard. Do these women really understand how many men are rejecting them as suitable wives/girlfriends and won’t touch them beyond a one-night stand/short term fling.
Women used to be the keepers of tradition and culture, now an increasingly large number of awakened (not that stupid ‘woke’ stuff) but truly understanding men see the end of their civilization drawing near and a darkness beyond on the horizon.

  9. The big problem with NYC and other big cities in the U.S. is that they are so full of immigrants from incompatible cultures that everyone sort of cocoons. Beyond a few college types, most people socialize only with those like them.
Sure, you can be friendly with that Indian coworker, but don’t expect to be invited to her house for a dinner party. You will wave high to your Chinese neighbor and maybe talk about the weather, but beyond that you have NOTHING in common. You can cheer on the Yankees next to that Dominican guy over there, but when he starts in with the Spanish with his homies, you no longer exist.
    Do you see the problem?

  10. Not again! An article “rinsing” and repeating the same old stuff !!
Who is responsible for those “3 ways” that are “hinders” for your “spiritual growth” !?
Who is responsible for the “radical femicuntism” !?
Who is responsible for the “materialism” !?
Answer is simple: Other MEN, Migrants, H1B’s etc. !!
    Simple, isn’t !?

  11. Considering all things, one would think the good people of NYC would be proud that one of their own, Mr. Donald J. Trump, aka “The Donald,” was elected President of the United States of America. Instead, it seems the opposite is true. Damn Yankees!
Perhaps corruption of spirit and deviance is more amplified in NYC, but that doesn’t mean it exists no where else. Only it’s more closely guarded elsewhere. Things we do but don’t talk about.
Living anyplace anywhere can never hinder a person’s spiritual growth. The blame, if there must be some, lies within the individual.
It ain’t NYC’s fault, dear writer. If you aren’t growing in the spirit, the issue resides in you.

  12. New York is a shithole. Period. Born here and lived here all 21 years of my life. There’s too many reasons to list, I’d much rather not get into it as it’s very much a downer.
However, it’s a good place to be if you fall into any of the following catergories:
    – Rich Joo
    – Welfare recipient
    – Hot girl in 20s
    – LGBTQW/E
If you’re not part of any of those groups get out FAST. I’ve been saving up every penny trying to leave this hellhole. Do it before it’s too late.

    1. Minus 1
      21…
Do you really think you are experienced enough to be giving advice?
BTW, I am none of those things you have mentioned and I do just fine here. And have been doing fine for a very long time.
Are you in college? If so, what is your major? Picking the right field of study can make all the difference. And if npt in college, then picking the right trade is very important. Following “dreams”, on the other hand, is pure folly — only for girls and fags.

  13. Ju York city
Greed, lust, materialism, money and power. Like most cosmopolitan behemoths unless you’re wealthy you’re just another rodent in the rat race.

    1. Is there anyplace in the US where you are not a rodent in the rate race?
Even if you run the Gomer & Goober garage in Mayberry, NC, you still have to get up early to open the garage. You still have to work your ass off and do the best at your job. You have to pay rent, taxes and insurance fees. The only people free from the rat race are the very wealthy and the very poor (welfare parasites). The rest of us do what we have to do.

      1. Have you ever seen a rats nest where real estate is in short supply and the rodents scamper all over each other only concerned with getting theirs and gib me dats. High density city life resembles that for the middle to lower classes.
Whatever works for ya man. Some people just like open spaces, clean air, short commutes, less crime and living in a community of people with shared values and heritage.

  14. Lived near and in NYC and the NE corridor part of Connecticut for 10 years. It’s not bad to visit, but I’ve seen so many young starry eyed types get eaten up alive. It’s exciting, cultured, lots to do and see. Expensive, dirty. Great intro to the rest of the world as the world can basically be summarized within Manhattan island. Literally someone of everyone is there.
NYC could also revert to widespread rioting and chaos in about 3 days if the grid were to fail. In that case it would be like a trap.
Much prefer the more open spaces in the hinterlands supplying/warehousing stuff for the east coast megalopolis. That’s where land and real estate are still relatively cheap, it’s easy to get back to nature, and if you’ve saved a few pennies, there still can be modest fortunes made in a few traditional endeavors like real estate.

    1. Part of the circle jerk with the other ones who migrated over to the other Kings site.

  15. Its very interesting to find increased religios articles on this site.
For people who are further interested about the influence of the place you live to your lifestyle and spirituality I recommend this sermon from Pastor Steven Anderson…. to get some biblical background on this matter:
He talks especially about the influence on Lots spirituality ´, who lived in sodom/ gommorha… and how me moves closer to the city center and how he gets more and more desentized to sin.

  16. Look into Atlanta (suburbs) and other Southeastern cities. I never see anyone writing about us…come check us out!!! Low cost of living, excellent career opps, sweet girls who love taking care of their gentlemen, trees!, variety and convenience, terrific food, and much more.

    1. “sweet girls who love taking care of their gentlemen”
      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA……………..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m the King of the Dirty South. And that’s a lie if ever there was one.
Remember, Christina; liars shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

  17. I laughed when the yuppies in the WTC took the outside express elevator on 911. I will laugh again when the nuke goes off. I despise them.

  18. I grew up in NYC. I’ve lived in every borough except Staten Island. NYC is a very evil place. In the Bronx and Brooklyn especially, there are people who practice Santeria and Voodoo. If you walk through Prospect Park or Bronx park, you will see little Voodoo dolls scattered around near trees. Sometimes, you will even see sacrificed animals. When I was younger, living in the Bronx, I remember visiting a friend’s home and they had a big sack of chickens that they were going to sacrifice. I remember feeling so scared. Then some people showed up at their door, they were dressed really nice and were talking about Santeria. There was a big black doll in the corner of the apartment with some type of dried blood all over it. They were talking about having one of their children “scratched” whatever the hell that meant. I got out of there quick.
Walking through parks as a kid, I would see goat heads, headless chickens, bloody white rabbits, all types of animals used for Voodoo sacrifice rituals.
Besides all the witchcraft going on in that city, there are immigrants who move in and take over entire neighborhoods and make it theirs. And they will make you feel unwelcome in your own neighborhood. I am white and have been asked many times by these immigrants if I was a tourist or if I was lost, even though I was born and raised there. They are protected in nyc, if you dare say something bad to one of them even if they deserve it, you will probably get arrested. The men jerk off in front of females in the train stations. The illegals do whatever they want there and get away with it.
I have never in my life felt welcome in my own city. I always felt out of place or had some feeling of sadness. For some reason, Sundays especially are very lonely days in NYC. I can’t explain why. Even when there is some kind of special event going on, it is so crowded that you feel lost or you feel that it’s not yours to enjoy.
You really cannot raise children in this city because there are homeless people who are all over the place. They pee and poop everywhere. The children’s parks are bedrooms for homeless people at night. So just imagine your child going down a slide where some homeless guy slept the night before and did not wash his hands after pooping in the park.
I have moved away from NYC, but some sick part of me misses it, I don’t know why. It’s better to just not raise your children in this city because they will not want to leave, they will grow up there and grow to love the stress and the crime. If you move them away, they will miss it and possibly move back. Then you have to worry about them being a victim. It’s better to just not expose them to it in the first place.

    1. The formerly White Bronx is now 90% non White so that stuff is some Haitian voodoo.

  19. The problem is not the sexuality. The problem is that it is abused by profane use.
”Times Square shoots images of sexualized women at you from all directions. It’s impossible to use public transportation without being exposed to dozens of hundreds of sexualized women, both in advertisements and in real life.”
Since such sexuality is not sanctified by its confinement and sole presence in the marriage bed. It is societally destructive in the west.
There is no shame in being her Husband’s slut. Nor in him being a rutting buck in his wife.
