  1. Australians have targeted Croatia as the new Bali of Europe. Anywhere they can get drunk at a beach.

    1. Yup, I was in Croatia three years ago on a beach in split with some Erasmus students. Some Croatian women came by right in front of us and started suntanning topless. We didn’t think much of it you know the French group i was with told me “it’s Europe”. Surely enough a group of drunk Aussies spotted them and decided to harras them so bad they stood up and left. If I went there now I wouldn’t expect to see any titties. What a shame…

  2. Enjoy Croatia while you can guys.
Hordes of dickhead foreigners are destroying the paradise.
Croatians have started lossing their soul and anyone who knew them can see it clearly. A mortal disease it’s just a matter of time.
    Bog

    1. Glad I got to see places like Tallinn and Riga before the became targets for stag parties or weekend benders. It seems once the cheap airline routes secure a route to these places from a major hub (eg. London), it’s over. The local charm and aesethic fades quickly.

      1. jajaja….dobrodosao u stvarnost…your president is a woman
        no more to say
You think you’ve discovered fire with tourism, just try not to burn yourselves, you wouldn’t be the first.
        Sve najbolje

        1. Where are you from?
Tourism is one of the rare things that fuel our economy and government intends to use that. I am interested for some examples of losing soul and destroying.

        2. If you take a second to read my name you can guess my country.
When i say destroying i refer to identity and moral, not to plitvice…
1.Tourism represented 20% of croatian GDP in 2011, which has been increased till 2016.
2.Now you are not rulling your own country, you have Brussels to do that job.
3.You are getting westernized, where there used to be a fresh stone rain now are gay parades. The feminist speech is increasing.
4.Five years ago talking I could feel the difference between young croatian people and western people, now still I can but just sometimes.
          5….many others, but i’m hungry.
Don’t worry brale, if you don’t wanna see your problems, your sons will

        3. You know some Croatian words, kudos to you. Glad that you clarified what do you mean. I was aware of things you mentioned for many years, not sure what you thought so I asked.
Still, I don’t think our spirit is destroyed. Mine certainly isn’t and most of people I know feel like me, even though I noticed some “cool trends” like SJWs and feminists, especially among new generations of high schoolers.

        4. That’s how it starts, things don’t change in one day but they do in a decade.
Look at us, do you think we’ve been always like this?
Don’t follow our steps, you are still on time.

        5. What can kid do nowadays? My sister tells me of things going in her school and when I think about them it seems she goes to some leftist liberal school in Sweden or USA and not a Croatian school. It starts from school and then it builds over education.
My parents and grandparents still belong to the old ways, and my generation (children born during war) is on transitioning point. That is why I said some people my age are like me, others are not. After that (younger then me) starts to be completely oblivious to the surroundings.

  3. I don’t remember where I read or heard that Croatians are VERY tall people so as a short guy I’ll skip that place.

    1. We are maybe slightly above average in height. I am 5 feet 9 and that is some average here, most of them are couple of inches higher with rare exceptions really over 6 feet

    2. Don’t worry…they’re small fat slobs…If my memory serves me well, Croatia is the nation with most obesity

        1. Yep, both. If you are able to tolerate wackos, then Zrće is for you.
Electronic music, alcohol and brain-dead folks, but SLIM.

  4. Croatia is still a communist state by a large margin.
You can see all the socialist leftovers in people’s minds on Adriatic islands.
