If you believed getting academic advice at college was hard, spare a thought for Kevin Bruce of Georgia’s Kennesaw State University. His routine academic advisor was unavailable and the receptionist asked him to come back in an hour.
With nothing else to do but kill time, he chose to wait in that humble room known as… ¡voila!… the waiting room. As he did this, another advisor, Abbey Dawson, came out and accused him of “harassment” for waiting for the first advisor, threatening to call the campus police. Knowing she was coming (and her prickly reputation), the clued-in Bruce filmed both her arrival and baseless, misandrist accusations.
Let’s go to the tape
The video of the incident has gone, unsurprisingly, viral. Most critical commentators have pinpointed the racial differences: Dawson is white, Bruce black. But this ignores the gender-loadedness of the word “harassment,” a buzzword for women who accuse men of something amorphous, often sexual or otherwise gender-based.
The atmosphere of American and other Western colleges is so pernicious nowadays, and so antithetical to the due process rights of male students, that sexual assault, or in this case “regular” harassment, can be anything a particular woman defines it as. And it’s her word against his, with her testimony alone enough to get him found “guilty” in a kangaroo court.
The only reason why this has created a scandal is that Dawson has been caught out peddling falsehoods and lies.
What would have happened if the campus police had arrived? Even if charges or an arrest had not followed, Bruce’s name would have been tarnished, to the pleasure of Dawson, and his future would arguably have been in heavy doubt. There would have been no consequences whatsoever for Dawson, who could play the card of the female victimized by the male, especially an athletic-looking black male.
It’s not just because of her reputation
Kevin Bruce was alert enough to record his encounter with Dawson and her false accusations. But what about those not able to? They’re the next people (read: males) in the misandrist academic firing line.
Twitter erupted with similar stories of Dawson’s apparently legendary rudeness after her deplorable reaction against Kevin Bruce. In many ways, though, this was Bruce’s saving grace. Knowing her antecedence, he was able to preempt and record the altercation (really just a one-way diatribe from her).
Focusing on Dawson’s misanthropy creates a quagmire when we try to expose the “guilty by someone else’s testimony” climate against male students. The emphasis shifts from a female actually proving that a man is harassing her (with objective evidence or proof) to anecdotal details of extreme irritability or other character flaws about a particular accusing woman.
Of course, outing Dawson’s previous antics is very important. But it should only add butter to the bread of innocence before guilt. And “guilt,” including in non-court situations, can only be established where there is proof. Or should be, not that should counts for much nowadays.
Too much of a reliance on an accuser’s reputation only obfuscates the central issue when females allege harassment, sexual assault or rape: there needs to be objective evidence. In the Brian Banks debacle, for example, the vitriol was largely leveled at Wanetta Gibson, his false accuser, rather than the system that allowed him to be incarcerated in the first place, solely on her testimony.
Like with the Brian Banks injustice, too much attention is paid towards the false accuser of rape or harassment, rather than the flawed system, lack of evidence or a failure to uphold a fair standard of proof.
Dawson placed on “administrative leave”
Thankfully, the histrionic Abbey Dawson has been stood down pending an investigation. As the Washington Post reports, she is the director of advising and internships for one of Kennesaw’s academic departments. The university, given her professional responsibility and the clear evidence against her, could have taken a much firmer stand, such as condemning the behavior verbally and much more strongly.
Obviously, considering our own manosphere-inspired interest in due process for men, she should be afforded some review, appeal or follow-up by the university authorities. But if this were an errant college fraternity yelling the word “slut” at passers-by, we all know events would be cancelled, a dean would threaten suspension or expulsion on TV, and proverbial heads would roll.
That a paid university staff member is treated more favorably than students, such as those falsely accused students at the University of Virginia, whose plight lacked evidence against them from the start, demonstrates the overall retrograde culture shared by American tertiary education institutions. Due process and caution is only followed when the allegations and improprieties fall into certain “acceptable” categories.
Rape or harassment allegation with no evidence or just testimony leads to suspensions or expulsions, with the confidentiality of already kangaroo court proceedings being breached (e.g. by Emma Sulkowicz).
Incontrovertibly false accusations of rape or harassment lead to no honor code violations, support from the university, feminist “celebrities” and others (again, Emma Sulkowicz and Jackie Coakley), and “administrative leave” for the likes of Abbey Dawson.
Defame him and we shame you
Dr. Daniel S. Papp, President of Kennesaw State University, and the university itself must take a zero tolerance approach towards staff (or students) making false or unsupported allegations of harassment or sexual assault.
Every woman who defames a man by falsely alleging sexual assault or harassment of any kind must be shamed and outed. Multiple news outlets have covered the Abbey Dawson story and Kevin Bruce should be commended for taking a stand. Fight fire with fire, boys, except, because these men are innocent, the truth is on their side.
Proponents for due process for male students (and, by extension, all men) are perennially ridiculed for not believing women. But we are accosted all the time with examples of women who have flagrantly lied about their initial accusations. In addition, what about the thousands of men in America and elsewhere either sent to jail or kicked out of college based on testimony alone?
Facts matter and facts go beyond someone’s words against another. Society and the legal system meant to support it, plus the processes of non-legal institutions, have regressed to the stage where visually recording an encounter is sometimes a man’s only means of proving his innocence. Short of that, the best thing we can do is to support the falsely accused by spreading their stories and highlighting the institutional unfairness they constantly face.
In the meantime, Abbey Dawson must have her employment at Kennesaw terminated immediately.
Calling for her termination is too narrow. We know this isn’t the first time this woman has acted like this. What about all of her coworkers in that office who stood by and did nothing while she engaged in discriminatory and harassing behavior like this? If this was a man acting this way to a female student, every man in that office would have his job hanging by a thread for failing to step up and put a stop to this by either reporting it or directly intervening. Every advisor in that office should be similarly investigated as to what this woman has done before, and why they have remained silent.

I could (literally) write a book sized response to your question, however, I will attempt to be as precise and concise as possible. These are, of course, my opinions based on many things from experience to education to this, that, and something else.
a) The rise of the “progressive” agenda: In my opinion, this right here is the prime factor and has not a single rival. With the extremely high end catering at each and every single level will (always) come people (leeches) who either wish more for themselves (ie: take advantage) or wish to push their misery on others. Progressive society is built around those types so it is no wonder why the issues have arose. Think about it this way as this is the best way I can sum it up. You look around my age so you will have experienced and seen these things just as I have. Have you not noticed that the strangulation and quasi destruction of morality, ideals, precedent, laws, and everything therein have been attacked with the severe rise of a progression laden ideology? Is it simple coincidence or is it simply that we (society) have given too much power to those who had no business having even an inch of power to begin with?
b) No foot was ever put down: This one is extremely simplistic. This past year we have seen, what, five false rape claims that were national news? Where is the rebuttal? Where are the court hearings to bring legal hell down on those who attempted (and succeeded in a few cases) to ruin the lives of others? It isn’t happening and because it isn’t happening there are no (zero) checks and balances on a legal system which would deter people from abusing the generosity of the public. As long as women are allowed to make such claims with impunity, as long as groups of young black youth can obliterate cities at the cost of millions to the tax payer, as long as millions of illegal immigrants can steal from the tax payer…. as long as these (and many other things) continue to take place without any form of severe repercussion, society is no longer society but simply a place of chaos. Lady Justice is blind for a reason and that reason doesn’t have anything to do with fifty shades of grey.
c) Women have changed for the worse based on the easily spread misery of others. Let’s face facts here, truly face facts. I am sure I am not alone in being blunt and saying I am a handsome man who is very successful and could land (basically) any woman I wanted as has been the case my entire life. This isn’t meant to brag but simply to point out that I am positive I am not alone on this and many of you guys are right there with me. My point? That is the point… there is no point…. no point to risking my entire lives work and entire path just to “risk” potentially losing everything to a potentially bad person or a person who wants to abuse the system because she is throwing a temper tantrum.
d) The internet: As fantastic as the internet is, it also presents a serious issue in terms of people latching on to equally disturbed individuals with utter ease. You and I are talking right now about an issue, you will read this, you might/might not reply, and that’s that. We will go about our business. However, the vast majority of people who live miserable existences will not act in such a manner and that aids to the spread of false agenda and miserable ideals quicker than wild fire. I have long thought that the internet, again, as wonderful as it is, would pose a severe issue for people who have no business having access to such things. Just look at each and every single school shooter or those bonehead fucks that decide to run off and join ISIS. How do they get access? The internet. What about the rise of radical feminism from a few dyed haired behemoth looking fucktard women who now make it a point to target young girls in their teens? Such things have helped spread corruption at a monumentally fast pace. If you don’t see this then, the next time you run into a radical feminist, simply ask them to systematically explain their stance. They can’t do it….. why? The corruption has simply spread too far in society and, in my view (and I could be wrong of course), the only way to fix it at this point is something far more serious than debate as debate has failed over and over. A reset and/or a total reverting of system is the only way to fix it at this point because you, me, this guy, that guy, whoever, we think it’s bad now? It’s only getting started.

Back in ’06 I had just graduated from college. I went to a big art school in Georgia. Seeing that I hadn’t found any full time employment yet I worked part time for the university as a staff member overseeing one of their large art galleries. A management position had opened up in the gallery and I had put in for the job. I had been working there for over a year, had a good reputation amongst the employees and even had two letters of recommendation from the last managers and gallery director for the position. I was overstepped for the job by a woman that had no prior experience in the area, but was friends with the the department head and she was given the job over me. Being that I had known this girl for some time and she had helped me on some projects, I didn’t have a grudge against her, nor wanted to bring up what had happen.
I put in for two other management/department assistant positions but each time was told “no thanks”. Who ended up getting the jobs were always pretty white girls (I’m Hispanic). My older brother (who is a lawyer) said to me looking back at this was actually a form of discrimination against me and I could’ve actually filed a suit against the university.
While it may not be similar to what happen to this fellow here, the gynocentric attitudes of colleges was starting in the early 2000’s. Entire departments of my university were female only dens of empowerment and abuse. Student Admission was all female (with one gay guy), as was the Business office, and student government. I worked a lot behind the scenes of various student organizations and activities council (which was overseen by women). In the Student Affairs office, I would often be left to man the front of the entire office while the girls would head into the back, gossip, and pretty much fuck around the entire day. If I ever said anything to them about getting to work, the white knight manager would send me off to do errands while he stayed back and hung out with them.
This school now has become one of the most expensive in the country. Having higher tuition rates than some Ivy league universities.
The founder (a woman) of the school has also become one of the richest college presidents in the country banking over 2 million a year with her family members working for the school earning upwards to $800,000! The school itself has also come under fire for its repressive soviet style approach to academic freedom and student protests and assembly.
I’m happy that I’m out of there, but now left with a bill I know will only go toward padding this woman’s wallet the rest of her life.

It’s a huge man hating college like no other. If you don’t cosign with their belief system (communism) expect a lower grade. Paula Wallace wasn’t originally the founder it was her husband but she cheated on him and took the school underneath him.
Ha, I’ve only spent a few weekends in and around Savannah and it has the charm of an old classic southern town, beautiful architecture, lots of nature and green and trees and rivers, and I thought a lot of young hot girls. I always said if I won the lottery I’d go back there and study drawing or photography or something. Are there any redeeming qualities?
The school does have Hollywood level equipment and some of the top rated labs and facilities in the country. Everything is in tip top shape, all the computers are using the latest versions of current software as well. The school does have a good reputation of bringing in A-list companies to review and critique student work. If you’re good (I mean REALLY good) you’ll have no problem finding employment after graduation.
However, if you’re like me and needed a few more years of honing your craft, getting help from the school is pretty much non existent. If you’re not in the top 10% of graduates each year you’re pretty much on your own finding work.
I worked several years as a student ambassador for the university. It was a good way to get some free food on the weekends. One of the things I was told to tell to parents and their prospective kids was that the school had a 90% job placement rating. What I didn’t know at the time was that the school considers you employed even if you’re working as a waiter, retail clerk, or barista. It doesn’t necessarily mean working in your chosen major/field.
Only a small percentage of graduates end up working in their chosen fields. A know a lot of students that went into health care and other vocations after spending years trying to break into the industry. I can only imagine how buried they are now in debts from two different colleges.
I also have stayed in contact with a professor that was there during the founding of the university. He can pretty much back up everything you are saying. He was eventually ran out of the school after having worked there for almost 20 years cause he wasn’t going along with where the university was heading.
Also on a side note, the University has really strong ties with the local Masonic lodge in Savannah (which has the largest mason library in the country). Even on the school’s crest there are 4 of the predominate Masonic symbols. The Bee, Pillar, checker board, and pine cone. But that’s a different matter all together!

Student went in looking to discuss his course load with his primary adviser. That person wasn’t available at the time so he thought he would wait until that adviser (or another) could help him. The receptionist checked to see if an alternative adviser could help him (Dawson) and she came out to the waiting room accusing the student of harassment.
That shit is just crazy. I’ve sat in those offices (college) many times waiting to talk to an available adviser (it’s normal). We’re not talking about walking into a business without an appointment and just hanging out…this is a school and it’s normal shit that happens everyday. If anything, the school should be pissed at her for pissing off one of their “customers”…colleges are big business, today.
The woman should be dismissed from her position at this school. She, obviously, has had run ins in the past with other students. She’s a god damn advisers…it’s her job.
I just saw an interview with the guy, and he admitted that he didn’t follow procedure, but felt that since he was paying tuition, he shouldn’t have to follow the rules.
I have a bias. When I was in college, I saw so many students take the asinine position that since they were paying tuition (even though they usually weren’t the ones paying it) they didn’t have to follow the rules: “Don’t tell me when to show up for class, I’M PAYING FOR THIS!”
I don’t know the whole story yet. Yeah, she’s an advisor, but it’s not her job to see people without an appointment. Part of the reason for going to college is learning what the rules of adulthood are.

The Medical Field in general, statistically they say that men don’t go get check up as much as women, yet no one knows why or claim that they do not. Well ask any male and you’ll find out why. In the U.S. men are left on display for everyone to see, and it’s the norm here. Even in situations where there’s no reason to be exposed, they will if you’re a male. Most of the medical workers are female and they tend to cover up the female body right away. Men they leave naked (completely undressed) even if there’s no need, especially if you’re unconscious when you get to the ER. Most men just follow along because they don’t even know the basic HIPAA laws that hospitals don’t care about this when it comes to male privacy as well. The comparable would be a female exposed with legs wide open spread eagle….that’s the equivalent if you want to compare it to a male being exposed.
Another one are female sports reporters being able to go into the men’s locker room even while athletes are completely naked. Their reasoning is that they’re being discriminated against due to being female and it’s unfair. The feminists movement fought for this and somehow got it to past legislature. Where are the male activists to fight against this? We have no one fighting for men’s rights, so things like this happens. Again the equivalent of this would be male reporters in the female athletes locker room while they’re spread open for all to see…..that’s the only comparison. See how ridiculous that sounds, that’s because it is, but yet it’s accepted as a norm for men to go through that, but not women. Also male athletes are the pinnacle of male society, not the same for women…..so really the equivalent would be the a male reporter inside the locker room of miss universe or other pageants while they were naked and spread…..think about that. Male reporters are not even allowed in the lockers rooms while the female athlete’s are undressed, let alone legs spread apart…..so why are female reporters allowed in locker rooms while men are naked and on full display? This should be illegal, and if not, then let the men inside when the female athlete’s are naked….then and only then it would be “equal”
Another one in the U.S. is male circumcision. The main reason given is that left uncircumcised, men are more prone to infections and such, and it’s unclean. We all know that a vagina is a lot more “unclean” than a penis, why are women not subjected to parts being cut off? Another ridiculous feminist idea that everyone just accepted. Less than 5% of the U.S. are of the religions where this practice is a tradition, so why is the circumcision rated around 80%. The ironic part about this is that women are voluntarily cutting their vaginas themselves because when they get older or if it’s to “ugly” they want the option to make it look better. Look up vaginal rejuvenation, or Vaginoplasty and Labiaplasty. So women make this choice by themselves, but they took it away from men, they make that choice for men also. How fucking boldface is that?
All of this will change in time as later generations would see how backward thinking the people of our time were and they’ll look back in disbelief. An example of that in current day is now we look back at the days when men were only allowed to swim if they were naked or nude while women were fully clothed. Seems unreal but it’s true. Now a man would go against swimming naked, because it’s unheard of today. Isn’t being forced to swim naked in front of the opposite gender backward, wrong an invasion of your human rights? Which one of you all would do that now in front of women who’re fully clothed? So why are men not fighting for their rights in the medical environment or in the locker rooms. Male modesty is out there but the feminists only fight to take it away. They don’t fight for equal rights, they fight for more.
Time changes everything, and the double standards that we see today will change as well. Later generations will look back and wonder what was wrong with ours. We’ll be labeled as a backward civilization just as how we look back and label past civilizations as such, and they’ll be right to say that.

So by waiting in the waiting room, the advisor he was there to see tried to get him to come back in an hour, only planning on not being there when he might have come back.
So by waiting there, the student essentially trapped the advisor. So, plan B was to send the the other advisor out, threaten and try to intimidate the student into leaving, then the advisor would be able to leave the office.

I could (literally) write a book sized response to your question, however, I will attempt to be as precise and concise as possible. These are, of course, my opinions based on many things from experience to education to this, that, and something else.
a) The rise of the “progressive” agenda: In my opinion, this right here is the prime factor and has not a single rival. With the extremely high end catering at each and every single level will (always) come people (leeches) who either wish more for themselves (ie: take advantage) or wish to push their misery on others. Progressive society is built around those types so it is no wonder why the issues have arose. Think about it this way as this is the best way I can sum it up. You look around my age so you will have experienced and seen these things just as I have. Have you not noticed that the strangulation and quasi destruction of morality, ideals, precedent, laws, and everything therein have been attacked with the severe rise of a progression laden ideology? Is it simple coincidence or is it simply that we (society) have given too much power to those who had no business having even an inch of power to begin with?
b) No foot was ever put down: This one is extremely simplistic. This past year we have seen, what, five false rape claims that were national news? Where is the rebuttal? Where are the court hearings to bring legal hell down on those who attempted (and succeeded in a few cases) to ruin the lives of others? It isn’t happening and because it isn’t happening there are no (zero) checks and balances on a legal system which would deter people from abusing the generosity of the public. As long as women are allowed to make such claims with impunity, as long as groups of young black youth can obliterate cities at the cost of millions to the tax payer, as long as millions of illegal immigrants can steal from the tax payer…. as long as these (and many other things) continue to take place without any form of severe repercussion, society is no longer society but simply a place of chaos. Lady Justice is blind for a reason and that reason doesn’t have anything to do with fifty shades of grey.
c) Women have changed for the worse based on the easily spread misery of others. Let’s face facts here, truly face facts. I am sure I am not alone in being blunt and saying I am a handsome man who is very successful and could land (basically) any woman I wanted as has been the case my entire life. This isn’t meant to brag but simply to point out that I am positive I am not alone on this and many of you guys are right there with me. My point? That is the point… there is no point…. no point to risking my entire lives work and entire path just to “risk” potentially losing everything to a potentially bad person or a person who wants to abuse the system because she is throwing a temper tantrum.
d) The internet: As fantastic as the internet is, it also presents a serious issue in terms of people latching on to equally disturbed individuals with utter ease. You and I are talking right now about an issue, you will read this, you might/might not reply, and that’s that. We will go about our business. However, the vast majority of people who live miserable existences will not act in such a manner and that aids to the spread of false agenda and miserable ideals quicker than wild fire. I have long thought that the internet, again, as wonderful as it is, would pose a severe issue for people who have no business having access to such things. Just look at each and every single school shooter or those bonehead fucks that decide to run off and join ISIS. How do they get access? The internet. What about the rise of radical feminism from a few dyed haired behemoth looking fucktard women who now make it a point to target young girls in their teens? Such things have helped spread corruption at a monumentally fast pace. If you don’t see this then, the next time you run into a radical feminist, simply ask them to systematically explain their stance. They can’t do it….. why? Because they are sheep following a shepard who told them how to think, pee, shit, and accuse.

Be honest guys, do any of you truly care (if you are single) if you meet “the one” or even someone who you see as marriage potential? I know I don’t but I have a feeling this mindset is very wide spread by my brethren who stand on the same deck as I do.
When I was young (teen) I had a plan to go to the military (check), go to college (check), play baseball professionally (fail), go to grad school (check)…. and then…. get married and have kids (amended – waste of time, money, and all resources as the risk is too great and there is no fucking way in hell I am risking all my hard work just for a piece of patch).
Why did it become this way Terry? We let it become this way (myself included). We allowed, time and time again, the ridiculous behavior to fly. Sure we have put our foot down on individual issues… of course… however, have any of us truly put our foot down on societal issues? Our ancestors fought to make our country what it was in terms of upholding the values and traditions that made America the power that it was…. we (again, myself included) have dropped the ball they handed off to us and allowed corruption to sink in and, worst yet, allowed people who have absolutely no business to be in leadership positions to ascend (I am not speaking only about the POTUS). Look up and down Congress and the Senate and you will see agenda laden individuals who, constantly, break their oath of office. The corruption has simply spread too far in society and, in my view (and I could be wrong of course but this is simply my current opinion given the state of affairs), the only way to fix it at this point is something far more serious than debate as debate has failed over and over. A reset and/or a total reverting of system is the only way to fix it at this point because you, me, this guy, that guy, whoever, we think it’s bad now? It’s only getting started. I personally think what we see now is merely the opening act… a starting salvo, per say.
