4. I don’t have anything against female cops/soldiers as LONG as they’re competent. And yes, they’re competent women too (who doesn’t scream all the time: we’re better than men but who actually prove themselves to be good cops), I do believe in competence of SOME women. My aunt was a cop (she’s an officer, now retired, but she was very, very good at her job, she’s still loved/respected by all her ex-colleagues), she’s very smart, has a lot of cold blood, not lazy but hardworking and not a femininazi who claimed to be better than men (she WORKED HARD to became what she was) and she was also married with a man who had a carrier in army (my uncle). They have 2 children and my aunt proved herself to be both a good cop and a good mother. Kudos to her.

As I have come to see how workplace environments work, the reality of women in a masculine endeavor… it’s just not worth it in the long run. What little good the few exceptions to the rule might do is heavily outweighed by the change in dynamics among the men, all the other factors involved.

      1. 1 year. Conscription in Romania ended in 2006 (Romania is also member of NATO), everything is based on voluntary service now. My father convinced me to go voluntary, telling me that Army makes me a real man. I listened him but I didn’t want an Army career.

11. I’m going to go against the grain here and say that women should be cops, just in a very limited way far different from how they are used now. Women should be used in ways that play to their strengths just as should men. So when you need high empathy and emotional intelligence – for example, negotiations with someone who is emotionally triggered and barricaded with hostages – a female may not be a bad idea. But beat cop work? Yeah, fuck that unless she is a tag-along to TWO males, and her only task, should the chick approach to problem solving fail, is to call for backup on the radio.

So in a way, these women are actually preserving their own race by protecting themselves and their children. And quite frankly, and seeing how feminine and pleasant the Kurdish women look even in fatigues, if it was for them, they would trade their AK47s for pots and pans and stay home to look after their husbands and children.

       1. Depends. I don’t know much about the PKK Kurds in Turkey or the Iranian Kurds, but the Syrian Kurds in the SDF do practice some sort of socialism while the Peshmerga Iraqi Kurds have a tribal system which I think is similar to that of the Arabs.
          In all fairness, if the Syrian Kurds do practice a sort of socialism, it’s because of four points that I theorize are necessary if socialism is to work as a concept: a homogeneous population based on a combo of religion or race, a source of wealth, a small manageable population, and a situation of distress, i.e., war or a hostile environment.

I agree that the common cause and common threat must be what grounds their functioning as tribal / national groups. You remove that and the cohesion, not to mention the socialism would go out the window. ISIS is pretty useful in that sense of providing a common enemy

Think about it – pre-war, you are a housewife with a day’s worth of real WORK to do running a house and raising a family while your husband is off earning the income that is necessary for your family to live. Then your husband goes off to fight, and you go to the factory where you continue to work his old job PLUS the homemaking job you previously had. Then the war ends so you don’t need to work your husband’s job anymore AND technological innovation renders much of your homemaking duties obsolete. Dudes who sit in prison with nothing to do go crazy, and I can honestly see how finishing your daily chores in an hour and being left with nothing to do all day may have seemed like being in prison.
             That said, I think that a part of it also stemmed from the fact that most women prefer to follow direction instead of lead. For example, with surplus time, a woman could take her cooking to professional chef levels. She could learn an instrument to provide entertainment for her family. She could come up with creative ways to teach her children necessary life skills. There is no limit to what you could do with extra time except that imposed by your own imagination. But all of this requires effort on her part, and most would just prefer to be told what they have to do instead of being free to figure out what they want to do (in fairness, many men are the same, and also in fairness, women have historically been conditioned to be this way).

There were two cases in recent months that come to mind (going purely from memory here). In one case it was another of these cams on the police officer’s uniform. A male and female cop went to a guys front door, not sure what about. Big tough guy. He wasn’t cooperating, clearly, but wasn’t violent either. The woman got scared and pepper sprayed him, which drove him crazy. He came out fighting, she backed well away and let her male partner fight with him and after a good fight got him pinned to the ground. THEN she came up and assisted. BOTH of them got a commendation. To my mind, she was worse than useless, she made the situation worse and then left her partner to deal with it.
       In the second case, a male and female officer stopped a middle-aged (or 50s, can’t remember) black guy in the street and asked for his ID, because he was close to a description they had of some suspect. There was a neighbour in his front garden next to them watching. The guy got annoyed that he was being considered a suspect and started walking away without showing his id. The woman cop immediately got out her tazer and zapped him, although he was not running and was showing no threat to them. Turned out he had been the black communuty police liaison person for several years and took it as a personal affront that they suspected him. He was being an asshole, but again, the woman drew a weapon (fortunately she did not have a .38) completely unnecessarily. Women feel threatened far too easily – or then again not too easily given how much weaker they are, but too easily for a cop.

             Without the assets provided to them by web developers (namely, websites), Google had nothing at all. Web developers were not compensated by Google for showing the world their web pages. Boom, 2003 comes along, and AdSense and AdWords come along, and Google breaks its promise. Immediately, online businesses were ruined, as Google torqued its algorithm and buried relevant websites, deliberately skewing their search results and making them a jumbled, irrelevant mess, so people would click on the AdWords ads that used to appear on the right side of every single search results page.
             Nowadays, Google doesn’t even bother to pretend the game isn’t rigged. They put paid ads up at the top of most search engine results, which appear very much like organic search results (they don’t look like ads), and they often gobble up the Top 5 positions. It resembles the Yellow Pages more and more – if you are a Fortune 500 company, you are likely to appear in the Top 10 for your niche.
             I saw this coming back in 2000, and I’m surprised they didn’t morph into the monster they have become more quickly. But they flat-out fucked the people who built their empire, gave them no recompense, lied to them, and left them for dead. Now they are destroying businesses left and right while totally abandoning relevancy in their search engine results.

              For the last decade, my primary company website has consistently ranked 1-3 on the first page of Google. In the last 12-months, I’ve noticed that our organic Google placement is towards the bottom of the first page (approximately 4-6). We’ve been pushed down by these shitty lead generation websites (houzz, buildzoom, homeadvisor, thumbtack, etc.). For the last several years, at least in my region, these sites we’re simply paid ads that nobody really seemed to take seriously. Now, they have taken over the organic search and actually put a few of my competitors out of business.
              Luckily, most of our business is referral. However, I’ve noticed the quality of our internet leads has diminished over the past 12-months. We decided to sign-up with all of these lead generation sites as a “Pro” – simply as an experiment. Wouldn’t you know it… the same leads we receive directly to our website, we also receive from these sources. The serious clients are now becoming “window shoppers.” This can do serious harm to a local/regional business, as it cheapens the sales process and eliminates the ability for a salesperson to establish rapport with the client.

          30. Unfortunately, this is just another part of the trend toward driving smaller companies out of business. These new lead-generation sites are often seeded with start-up money from major players. They hang out inconspicuously for a few years. Then, a move is made and Google ranks them higher. It has nothing to do with the web developers in question having any sort of expertise at search engine optimization. They are ranked high because Google and related companies (tech startup giants) have a vested interest in their success.
              At one point, Google actually solicited input from guys like me, about how to game their algorithm. That’s how clueless they are about the whole thing. Back in 2000-2002, I could literally (Hitler) make a small business into a million-dollar-plus business in a matter of weeks. I didn’t have enough time, I had no staff, and I could only handle one project at a time. Now, even though I am still holding my own, I am being pushed down to the bottom five results on highly trafficked search phrases for the real estate business. Eventually all the big real estate companies, most especially Zillow, Realtor.com and Trulia, along with established blue-blood real estate companies like RE-MAX, Berkshire Hathaway (formerly Prudential Real Estate), Century 21 and others will snap up all the remaining search engine real estate on the first two pages of search results. Nothing can stop this from happening.
              There are ways to delay the inevitable. But by and large, we’re all pretty much fucked in the long-term. Eventually, every small player will be shut out of virtually every type of business, in terms of online exposure – unless they want to pay for ads that appear in the search engine results. And even then, the major players will outbid the smaller guys for the most prominent ad space. We now have Angie’s List (started with major player seed money), and we now they have the same deal for babysitters, and virtually anything else you can think of…it’s all part of the plan.
              The future is bleak, I’m afraid, even for guys who rely on referrals. Eventually every niche market will be covered by one of these “we do it all in your field” websites that gets TV advertising and dominates the organic search results and the paid ads in those search results. People are fucking lazy and stupid by nature and there’s nothing that can be done about that. They don’t care if Walmart puts a mom-and-pop shop out of business. They don’t care if Zillow destroys real estate agents. They don’t care if Uber destroys cab drivers. They don’t care if the lead-generation companies you mentioned destroy the companies in your line of work. The only time they care about anything, is when it affects them directly. Otherwise, they’re too busy watching TV, jerking their cocks, and stuffing their faces with GMO-laced pizza and poison diet drinks. They want instant gratification and the faster the better. They commit financial suicide and kill their fellow man’s income streams as well, by doing this. Because they are establishing a precedent that will one day reach their doorstep.
              I wish I could give you some good advice here. Unfortunately, whatever method I suggest would amount to a short-term fix and would be the equivalent of putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound created by a .357 Magnum. Just keep plugging and hope for the best. The referral market should last for a while. Eventually, I believe the lawmakers will step in and impose heavy fines on all companies in all fields of endeavor that don’t spend a lot of money on massive amounts of certification requirements, and heavy insurance. In other words, it’s a planned death by a thousand cuts – if they don’t kill you completely via their insidious online scheme, they’ll make it unfeasible for smaller players to stay in business.
              The same thing is happening in real estate. We’re returning to the days of the Feudal Land Barons. Even guys who own their homes free and clear are going to get fucked in the long term, because they will keep raising taxes and home insurance to the point where the average guy won’t be able to make those payments. And only the super wealthy will be able to afford the monthly nut on those twin demons.

    Earlier this year we hired someone who irritates me so much that it has to be me. Or it has to be the manifestation of my discontent with this job, with my non-career, with my life, with my vulnerabilities that keep me bogged down. Whatever it is, he annoys me so deeply, it is a completely new experience for me. Of the two people we interviewed, he was not the one I chose. He had an awkward handshake – that was my deciding criteria! This dude is awkward in a way that I don’t want to deal with, that was my initial impression. But for whatever reason they chose him, and I guess that really rubbed me the wrong way, because I’m the one who has to train him and the one who has to spend the most time with him.
    He is nice, polite, and relentlessly chipper, but so anxious to please that he is constantly apologizing, completely self-effacing, paralyzed by details. On the one hand, I feel bad for him and I WANT TO LIKE HIM! On the other hand, interacting with him, teaching him to do all these things which are second nature to me, it’s fucking torture. This is my own special No Exit kind of hell: we are trapped in a cycle of pushing each other’s buttons, and I have no idea how to get out. He is bumbling because he’s anxious, his anxiety irritates me (not the errors), he perceives my irritation and it exacerbates his anxiety, his eagerness to please irritates me which also worsens his anxiety, and ultimately he performs worse, and I hate him more, FOREVER. I have no doubts about his intelligence or competence: I see my own performance anxiety in him every day and it kills me. And I hate him for it. And then I hate myself for hating him. L’enfer, c’est les autres.
    I tell him all the time that whatever mistake he just made isn’t a big deal, or whatever detail he’s worried about is actually irrelevant to our work, but his very nature is completely unaffected by these assertions. I totally understand this because friends drop “helpful” truths on me all the time which change nothing about the reality of my life. I do not have the equipment to assuage his anxiety. It is NOT in my job description.
    And then my own inability to ignore small sensory input, particularly sound, it feeds this hate. His sniffling from a cold every twenty seconds, his daily eating of a banana at a mind-bogglingly glacial pace, these soft sounds reverberating make me want to die. I wanna die! When I am on the phone, I have to plug one ear if he is also speaking on the phone. He speaks so loudly on the phone that I noticed you can still hear him in the stair well two floors down. Any time he spends out of the office, I am blissed out with relief.
    You might remember the drama last summer of my rounds of several interviews for a position that ended in a non-rejection rejection: they recommended that I apply for another position in their area. While everyone told me this was a good sign, that they believed I was an “asset,” I was too devastated to even respond to their email. I couldn’t bring myself do it. I couldn’t go on any more interviews because I was too wounded by this rejection in that moment. I felt too bad about it, and I felt bad for feeling bad – that if I were normal, not so easily hurt, I’d interview for this other position, and I’d get it.
    In December, after I’d finished my capstone project, I applied for a part-time webdev internship. There was a phone interview that made me feel like a fraud, like I didn’t know anything. 63. Police Officers, Firefighters, and military jobs should be exclusively male, yet there are to many women in these positions. Comparably dangerous and difficult positions like iron worker, lineman, oil worker and various construction trades are composed of less than 1% women. The reason for this is simple, civilian jobs do not have the same benefits as government jobs. You can be fired for being unable to physically do your job when you work in the private sector. Police academies and firefighter academies routinely hold women do a different standard, even if they are required to have the same standards as men. The US Marines has decided to hold women to the same physical standards which means more women are washing out, go figure. Now female Marines are complaining about discrimination.

I went to the Blockbuster to get a movie, I was wearing a Marine t-shirt and another Marine greeted me, a former Infantry Officer who’d done his obligated service then got out and went into law-enforcement. We stood there and visited for some time, and it came out that he’d been on the Phoenix PD, prior to moving to Houston.
    During his time there, they’d had a mobile training team from LAPD come out and fill them in on lessons learned from the Bank of America shoot-out in ’97. The Phoenix Officers would take the visiting LAPD Officers out for a pub crawl every night, after training was over. As you can imagine, once everyone got a little liquid truth in them, things came out about the gun fight that didn’t during training, and certainly never made the papers or news either.
    During the post-incident investigation, one of the things they did was to recover as many of the bullets fired as they could. They’d actually recovered nearly all of them, no mean feat considering the amount of hot lead that was flying around. The recovered bullets were then ballistically matched against the weapons of all of the participants in the fight.
    One of the unknown, dirty little secrets was that none of the recovered bullets were fired from female Officers’ guns. Not a single one. Anyone who had knowledge of this fact was told by the LAPD hierarchy not to breathe a word of this to anyone, upon pain of having their careers destroyed for them. 69. I was a cop for several years and these were all true of my experience. Most of the time departments paired women with men or issued them a K-9 to protect them, all the while letting them pretend that they were the equal to any man.

    As for female cops- you would have so much more credibility if you posted sources aside from a few isolated Youtube (which isn’t a credible source, mind you) videos. I agree 100% that admission standards for the police force, military, and fire department (any job that requires excessive physical strength and capabilities) should never, ever be lowered or compromised to fit a politically correct agenda. That being said, if a woman just happens to meet these standards, there is literally no reason, other than your presumed hatred of women in general, for you to think they should be excluded from the job. A job should be given based purely on skill, merit, and experience/qualifications. Gender shouldn’t even be a factor in pretty much most job selections if the candidate meets the requirements. A meritocratic system like that may not produce the ideal quota numbers people seek, but it would be the most fair.

       1. That may be the case. But my point is, have a set of objective standards. Whoever meets them, hire them. Some women may still be able to pass the test, and I see no reason to exclude them. Like I said, I don’t favor lowering standards to accommodate anyone, considering the nature of these jobs and the fact that they involve saving lives.

77. One thing is missing. The change in training. The paranoia and gun play that is all so evident today is in large part a matter of training to make men and women equal. Female cops need to use their guns to make up for physical disadvantage but this cannot be admitted so all cops get the same training. Hence the easy escalation to police shootings.

I agree ,I once had to deal with a female security guard that was in my face because some body didn’t like my conversation and I could tell she had a bad attitude and I calmly informed her about the first amendment . She was pretty but I could tell on the inside that she is a controlling bitch and became a security guard to have power over people ,now she wasn’t a physical threat to me I could of easily smashed her into a thousand pieces. But I knew the trouble that would cause ,but because of the fact she was violating my first amendment. So I left the college and called the administration arranged a meeting redressing my grievences . I quoted the first amendment ,made a powerful argument on principles . And principles is the reason why I stood my ground ,needless to say they transferred that girl to another campus. I only saw her once on campus and she looked at me as if I was the grim-reaper but it was never my goal to get her demoted but rather to stand up for free speech on college campuses. But at the same time ,she saw me as a dumb guy who couldn’t outsmart her but I proved her wrong. Part of being wise is knowing when to use force and when not to,she saw me as a physical threat but as an intellectual threat ,her mistake . I’ll end this by saying that I don’t revel in her misfortune but rather feel pity for this girl ,because she became a campus cop to feel sense of power she didn’t feel on the inside.

82. well, the problem is already worse than ever, here in Italy we have a femminazi in the government and in the major police forces, the one in the Parlament keeps feminazi agenda on track and mute any opositors while the latter stay in a confortable office while males do the hard jobs, many female cops stay in the office so no need to fear any conseguences and yes, the few who go on patrol duty always have a male backup.
    Things are going insane, i agree with Roosh, you better hit the gym and/or a self defence course, you’ll need it in the nearest future.
