American Culture Is Corrupting Colombian Society

While reading mister Edward Thatch’s brilliant article Expensive Woman Seeks Retarded Millionaire, I thought of Colombia. Women ignoring the unstoppable force of time is a trend that has permeated society not only in the United States but also in other countries that have become quickly Americanized. It is evident in certain social circles in my current country of residence, Colombia.

Saturday night I went to a party my cousin had invited me to. She is very well educated and from the top tier (IV) of Colombian society. Needless to say all her social circle belongs to this tier, as you know now from my previous article, Colombian society is extremely classist. Looking down on others for their social class is completely normal.

I arrived to the party expecting a good time with my cousin who had just gotten back from China. She introduced me to her friends, all of them educated in Europe, I introduced myself, grabbed a cocktail and started to mingle. Across the dance floor I saw a gorgeous blonde, a “paisa,” a common term that denotes people from Antioquia, the coffee stronghold of the country.

I approached her and waited for her to talk with her particular accent. I said, “Oh, are you paisa?” (the accent is extremely noticeable). She laughed and we started talking. Right away I realized two things: (1) She was from only tier II, economically speaking, and (2) In her head she belonged to tier IV. This meant that if I was to fuck her, my wallet was in for a ride. This thank to the long standing drug money culture that has spoiled women in Medellin, specially those from low classes.

Thirty minutes into the conversation and I had no sight of hooking up with this girl that night. I was getting nasty looks from my cousin’s crowd to get me back to the group mainly because I was talking to a girl from lower social status that was way hotter than them. Nonetheless, I wanted to see her again. She served to my New Year’s resolution to go out with girls outside of my usual socio-economic range. Needless to say this has changed my overall availability of women.

After I got the paisa’s number I went back to my cousin’s group. They took turns on destroying her—“Her shoes are fake Louboutin” and “You only talked to her because she has huge tits, and they are probably fake” (which is very probably true due to the high ratio of boob jobs in Medellin). Facing this incredible threat of hate-filled comments I turned to Alejandra, a friend of my cousin who just graduated from LSE and hadn’t uttered a word. “What do you think?” I asked.

“She is hot but lacks taste. Still you are completely free to fuck her. I would if I was you”. This started a conversation that summarized my entire philosophy of life.

“Why do men do that?” Adriana, a single 30 something doctor asked.

“Do what?”

“That, why do you think you can just have sex with any girl like its nothing.”

“Because I can.”

“You think very highly of yourself don’t you?” Here Alejandra interrupted her irritated friend, “Why shouldn’t he? He is very smart, attractive, in shape and rich. In ten years he is going to be the type of man every woman of his age is going to be looking for.” I turned to Alejandra, very surprised by what she had just said. She went on to say “Sometimes I wish I was a man. They have more freedom. In England girls kept saying how much power women have and how strong and independent they are… but we really aren’t, not like men. We can’t sleep around like they do with no consequences. Time plays against us while it plays in favor of them.”

This made Adriana so mad that she went home, I figured it made her so mad because it touched her profoundly. She identified with what Alejandra had said and had no arguments to counter her. She left and I kept talking to Alejandra, who was by far the most down to earth girl I’ve met in my life. She confessed how Adriana had been looking for a single, rich, intelligent 30 year old, and how she had told her that this man will not settle with a girl like her because he simply has no need to do so. She is deep into debt due to her lifestyle.

Colombian society is being corrupted by American feminism with fantastic results for alpha males but terrible long term results for women. The main issues I have identified in Colombia are:

1. Women live a delusion

Feminism has convinced them that it is okay to sleep around, act like Ke$ha in her worst day and behave recklessly with no planning of the near future. This means that men have easier lays since girls are actively seeking to get laid and that girls get punished in the long run as this reckless lifestyle takes a toll in their bodies and self esteem. This is fueled by constant feminist ideas and steady beta attention, reassuring them that “it’s ok”, that they “don’t need to worry”, somehow things will just fall into place. They are feminist but still expect a man to come fix it all once they have “lived it up.” They want all of the benefits with none of the sacrifice.

2. The delusion gets more virulent

When my last girlfriend and I broke up, I told her she should really focus on building herself, making something out of herself by attaining some value other than her naturally given striking beauty, since it would fade with the inevitable pass of time. Her response was as baffling as striking. “Fuck you, I’ll be beautiful forever”. This is the spreading of the delusion, they believe they are impervious to the laws of nature and thus, act like if they are.

3. They actively need constant acceptance and approval

Adriana is a perfect example of this, driving a BMW that will take her 5 years to pay off and on which she will pay probably 40 or 50 % more than its regular price, living from paycheck to paycheck to cover her credit cards—even with a good paying job—in order to keep her lifestyle. A lifestyle that she desperately needs to be approved by her friends and get access to the social circle where she hopes to meet her ‘savior’, a person who will never come, unless she finally settles for a beta idiot, because no man in his right mind, with the attributes that she seeks, would take such a bad decision. This desperation in girls actively seeking men to marry is so evident than even my mother has told me at least 10 times in the last 3 months—“You are getting a prenup if you ever marry”… and that is my Colombian mother speaking.

4. They’re too eager to go into debt

I understand wanting to live a good life, driving a good car, living in a pristine place, being able to travel and having access to the best and finest. I really do because that’s the life that I myself strive to live, but I get to do that because I understand that I must live my financial life by the principle my dad inculcated to me since childhood, “Son, its not how much you spend, its how much you make.” That’s it, I drive a good car and have a designer wardrobe, but I have never thought of going into debt to have it, I know my value and my limits and live in them, while striving every day to better myself. As smart as women think they are, their financial sense is less than those telling them they can have it all.

The erosion of my country by feminism has started in force, as they are beginning to believe that being ‘equal’ is the paradigm of success, when they are not nearly close to that ideal. Alejandra’s words reassured something I’ve known for a while now but I had failed to embrace they way I should have. I should think highly of myself because I have a high value, and every man who does should be proud of that, and if so you too should embrace it, and sleep with as many women as you can.

  1. That final sentence of the post: BRAVO!! Well written, point taken…Life is made all the more beautiful w/ a succession of young, sweet, tight poon coming (pun intended) and going throughout a young man’s life. Excellent post.

  2. Feminism is spreading like a virus… even in muslim countries like Turkey… the cat-apocalypse is coming

    1. Fortunately, feminism _may_ be reaching its peak here in the U.S. Here’s an article from a recently divorced, 1977 Princeton female grad is telling young women they have a shelf life. Naturally, this has been mentioned across the interwebz.
CNN: ‘”Find a husband on campus before you graduate,” she wrote. The letter went viral, causing the college newspaper’s site to crash.
Patton said that men have a broader time frame in which to build a home and a family. Women, on the other hand, have what she called a “shelf life.”‘
The original has been moved but it can be found here:

      The comments are gold.
I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

    2. An thats why manosphere blogs should be translated to all languages espically in arabic farsi n hindi among other languages(red pill culture bein threaten by beta feminazis) globaluzation my ass its more americanization

    1. If you are still on the blue pill, you might want to watch this and listen to the aged hags going on about liking bad boys.

  3. I’m from Colombia and this is true. The feminazi “culture” is invading the women minds. Colombia is not the country Rooshv visited anymore.

  4. I am a Colombian like you Faust, and sadly I see more and more Adrianas around. Keep it up man, like your articles and they are on the spot.

  5. So, you’re not going to man up and marry the oldie but goodie? She’s a confident doctor who drives a bimmer; sounds like a catch… oh, wait guys have different priorities.

  6. Some people have money to have fun, adventure and be free and comfortable.
Others have money to show off and try to validate themselves and prove to themselves that they are not the worthless pathetic insecure fucks they see when they wake up and look in the mirror every morning.
Those that don’t have money and fake it for social purposes are the saddest fucks of all. I’d rather sleep under a bridge in a box, than become like that.

    1. I know what you mean; people are fuckin phoney, period. I will say unfortunately when it comes to the business world that appearances are everything. So even without money one has to fake it. But it’s important to realize that when the show ends each day, not to lose sight of who one is when one looks in that mirror.

  7. I don’t think feminism is eroding Colombia. There is simply
too much development that still needs to happen to that country economically,
and politically, as a whole, in order for feminism to affect the wider
Colombian population. The problems you are encountering with feminism, I
believe, are mostly restricted to your social tier (IV).
The population of I’s and II’s vastly out number people within tier IV. Until
you reach a critical mass of women who have first world access to higher
education, employment and cheap, abundant credit, feminist rot will be kept at
bay. Faust’s problems are typical of those that affect a third world country’s
elite; there are not enough eligible bachelors (alpha males) for its women
whose value is artificially inflated by their prosperity. For men, the women
are too feminist, over-educated, unfeminine, etc. He’s having the same problems
we in the manosphere have been bitching about since the first post. The difference
is that Faust only has to take a 30 minute drive whereas we have to take a five
hour flight to get that bang we want.
It should come as no surprise that Adriana and her friends at the party hated
that tier II girl. Such a woman strikes fear in the hearts of affluent,
entitled women the way that blonde Ukrainian 10 throws the hamsters at Jizzabel
    into a frenzy.
This problem also affects well to do women in other similar countries. I have a
Brazilian acquaintance, who I met eight years ago while studying abroad in
Spain. She was in her mid-twenties, tall, about a 7 in looks, but her poise and
rich background made her appear to be a 9. She’s now 32, looks more like a 6
and she’s still unmarried in a country where the typical woman gets married in
her early twenties. I talk to her from time to time and I get the feeling that
she and her friends are having a hard time getting a solid commitment from the
higher value men they want to marry.
One last thing Faust…the reason your mom wants you to get a pre-nup has more
to do with protecting you from that Tier II girl from new years than it has to
do with the feminists in your social circle. She fears you getting raped, via
divorce theft, at the hands of an ambitious gold digger from the lower classes.

    1. I went on to go out with the paisa, the difference were outstanding and I’m glad I have her as a satellite now. And mother is more concerned about tier IV girls, trust me, divorce is much more common in tier IV than in any other social circle.

      1. Good post Faust. Oddly the sameness of your situation to my town (Washington DC, like Roosh) gave me some perspective.
The class system in the U.S. is not as clear cut (but I wonder if it will be in time) as you describe in Columbia your story does bring some things to mind.
DC is crawling with the tier IV types you mention while 45 minutes north in Baltimore you get a variety of I – IV. The bitchiness drops several notches in generally more blue-collar Baltimore. Not disappears, since this is the America East coast, but definitely you can feel a difference.
Perhaps if our economy goes down the toilet at least feminazis will too ;o) ?

  8. “Son, its not how much you spend, its how much you make.”
I always heard it as “It’s not how much you make, it’s how much you keep”.

  9. Hello Dr. Faust.
Not easy to understand people. In case of Adriana you did a good job and I think you got a proper read. Except one thing. You believe her “going into debt” is uncommon.
It is not. In her case the BMW and the cloth are more of an investment (she is looking for a provider type man) than it is in 90% of all other people.
Today it is very common for a 18 year old who just finished shool to have a leasing BMW, a new house (30 year financed, no downpayment) within his first year in his first job. In the US many are 200K into debt before they even graduate!
She is a doctor you write, so instead of a bad example she is in reality a positive case in a sea full of much more shallow people in the west.
All of europe, the US and japan are full with people who life a good life that they can never afford. The question is not what riches one has, but what he can finance.
Once you understand this is not the exception but the rule you have made a quantum leap in understand the masses.

  10. I don’t think the problem here is feminism either. The author hinted at the real problem in the article.
The women had (in)direct access to easy money by being from the drug trade region. Plus, the women also had plenty of easy money in the form of credit.
This easy money is a form of generous welfare, and even though its not state welfare in this instance, welfare still creates moral hazard.
Moral hazard is the idea that if you pay for bad behavior, then you get more of it.
When women can get money so easily, they no longer value traits in men like working hard, providing, and deferring gratification. And so these traits no longer factor into their Hypergamous mate selection.
And as long as the easy money keeps flowing, the women can behave as badly as they want to… And they don’t have to temper their worst instincts to keep their man either.

  11. If the article didn’t convince you, this song is dominating radio play here in the coast….pathetic…
fin de semana no hay duda ninguna
y se ven bonitas, se ven bonitas,
Tienen lo suyo y de ningún hombre ellas necesitan,
    no necesitan.
    The weekend there’s no doubt,
    they look beautiful
they have their own things and they don’t need any man
    they don’t need ’em
Everytime I hear this song I think of a ton of hot Colombian girls slowly turning into bitchy fat short haired cows.

  12. As a Colombian man, one of my social circles is strictly Colombian (i live in the states). The girls in the circle definitely do have a classicistic (sp?) mentality. Not with other Colombian girls but girls of different races (due to lack of other Colombian girls i guess?) I have gotten the ‘yuck’ face when one of em’ overhears me telling a buddy that a chick i met is (insert race here)
I can definitely see all 4 points play out here in Chicago. Great article

  13. This isnt a matter of feminism..its just a matter of rich girls. Like feminists they often feel over-entitled and they under-deliver. They also get judged much more harshly if they fool around. Alot of downside to marrying up. You can actually si guys who where shirts in medellin that say “Me Gusta Grillas” which is a little like slang for “I like hood rats”.

  14. My opinion is the future of America is more like Colombia than the reverse. I see many dispossessed men in the future in America, the women getting taken care whether by work, men, government, or family, and the top strata financial alpha males having the pick of women. In Colombia, it really always has been the bottom 50% of men that struggle and the bottom 30% really struggle. You rarely see women being street vendors, it always men. The women have the cushy, easier jobs inside, and the men suck shit in crap jobs. SIn dinero, no hay amor. And that’s the damn truth in Colombia.
Doctor Adriana may not find her alpha rich pareja, but she won’t be struggling on the street. The cards were stacked against anyway for having a degree and being from upper strata. Many of the women with degrees don’t find men. They can’t marry down and the men can marry the cute girl from whatever of those classes they find her.
But I would rather be Doctor Adriana than an estata 2 hombre any day. That guy is struggling. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for women in Colombia. My sympathies are with the men. They have it far far rougher. The pressure is relentless for them. If the men have a woman, she heaps tremendous pressure on the man.
Colombia was the place I got radical about pushing women out of a man’s life. Mejor un prepago aveces que una esposa. Menos presion, mas felicidad, cierto, menos problemas. The demand for cash from Colombian women is relentless. I could live on 1/10th of the money without a woman in Colombia then I needed when I had one. Buses turned into taxi rides. Street food turned into costly restaurants. A couple of joints and a DVD off the street turned into CineColombia and 40 dollars. And that shit adds up and pretty soon you’re spending $10,000 a month and going to the cajero every 30 minutes.
I would go to Cali or the Cafetero and get a wife, one without a degree and bring her ass back to Bogota. They’re a little more traditional. Bogota is far more of feminist hotbed than even Medellin, way more than Cali. A Cali girl would rather get a boob job and a husband than a degree and a job. And I would rather have a Caleña with a boob job than a Bogota girl anyway. Get one about 22 with literally no skills to do anything except be your wife. To me, the thing about Colombian women is that you can trust them as long as you have an economic pistol to their head. They’re good wives and much better than Americans. But is better if they have no better options than you. And from what I gather, they probably wouldn’t.

  15. Feminism is just part of the greater virus of the mind which is forced collectivism. One of the many tools of cultural Marxism.

  16. “Son, its not how much you spend, its how much you make.”
That thinking is flawed. It’s how much you spend not how much you make. Let’s say you make $100,000 and you blow your $100,000. Your still broke. But if you make $100,000 and you only spend 30-40k, you still have 60k lying around. I’m not sure if your dad gave you the right advice or you just worded what he said wrong.
