    1. RS was founded as a counter – culture music magazine back in the 60s. By the 80s it had become top 40 music magazine, putting madonna on the cover, and lost its readership. Then came the internet in the late 90s, and RS pretty much lost its reason to exist with so much more interesting content freely available online. RS has been desperately trying to re-invent itself, throwing a plate of spaghetti at the wall to see if anything sticks. Its sad. Hunter Thompson would be turning over in his grave. Its time for RS to disappear, and take some feminists with it.
