6 Reasons Mexico Is A Highly Underrated Latin American Country

Mexico doesn’t get much love from many a male digital nomad and perpetual traveler. It’s just not a sexy spot. Too close to the US, violent, greener pastures, and all that good stuff. For guys going to Latin America, Colombia reigns supreme. Brazil still has the sex appeal. Hell, even Peru has gained some steam as of late.

But, Mexico? Building a wall comes to mind when the country rolls off the tongue. And let’s not forget about the cartel violence. Many a gringo laments why on earth someone would head south of the border when talking about travel.

mexico-map

Mexico is a highly underrated Latin American country. While there’s a reason or three to avoid Mexico, many a traveler will find the country to be damn near paradise under closer inspection. Here’s why:

1. Best Food In Latin America

I love the Dominican Republic. Colombia is one hell of a good time. But let’s not beat around the bush here, the cuisine in those countries sucks arse. Bandeja Paisa is decent, but that’s about it. And while Peruvian food is good, Mexican food is excellent.

I’m not just talking about the carb-loaded stuff that sticks to the side of the ribs and adds extra weight. That stuff is good. Don’t get me wrong. I’m certainly a fan of tacos, enchiladas, and their ilk. But what I’ve been impressed with is the seafood.

In my beachside village by the sea, I eat plump shrimps, tuna steaks, and red snapper by the daily. It’s fresh from the Pacific Ocean and costs pennies on the dollar.

2. First-World Amenities

Maybe not first-world. But you’ll find more amenities that mimic the States here than you will in other Latin American countries. It’s easier to buy things like Greek yogurt or a juicer that won’t break down in three days while living in Mexico. There’s Walmart. There’s Sam’s Club.

Sure, their stores are extra American, but it makes moving to a new country and grocery shopping a lot easier. And there’s more than just Walmart.

Coworking spaces are all over Mexico. Hell, the WeWork on the outskirts of Roma Norte is undoubtedly scenic with that view of the Angel de la Independencia. Even the coworking space in my village by the sea features 50 Mbps of Internet. Same goes for my apartment – 50 Mbps Internet with an ocean view. Try finding that on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.

Yoga studios, CrossFit gyms, and pilates can be found in most Mexican cities. And stuff just works in Mexico, which isn’t a guarantee in many a Latin American country.

3. Better Beach Towns

I’ve been unimpressed with beach towns throughout Latin America. Haven’t found one I’d consider livable after nearly four years of traveling throughout the region. Punta Cana? Hell no. Cabarete? Nah. Las Terrenas? No way. Boca Chica? Lol. Cartagena? GTFO. Santa Marta? Nope. Mancora? No, sir. Montanita? Never. San Juan del Sur? Not possible. Bocas del Toro? Not happening.

There’s not a single beach city in Central America, Colombia, Peru, or the Dominican Republic that I’d consider livable. Ecuador may have a few, but I haven’t explored the country enough. Brazil probably has a handful, but I’m learning Spanish – Portuguese isn’t on my radar.

That leaves us with Mexico. And luckily for beach lovers, it seems Mexico has some great, livable beach towns. Mexican beach towns offer more amenities, better nightlife, and more. I’ve checked out Mazatlan, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, and Cancun. The first two are highly livable.

You also have spots like Puerto Vallarta, Veracruz, Ensenada, and Acapulco – which are all on my radar.

4. Low Cost Of Living

Mexico is pretty cheap these days. The exchange rate is favorable, and your money goes far here. For $1,500-2,500 USD a month, you can live a high quality of life in nearly every city throughout Mexico.

For example:

  • My beachfront condo with good Internet and ocean views costs me less than $30/night.
  • Uber rides start at $1 USD and generally always cost less than $5 USD.
  • Monthly membership at my yoga studio starts at $25 USD.
  • Beers at local bars tend to cost $0.80-2.00 USD in my village by the sea.
  • A kilo of tuna steaks runs me $7 USD at the local market.

Sure, certain things are just as expensive as the States. Coworking spaces are always $100+ here. Gyms tend to cost $30-50 USD a month. But overall, there’s good value.

5. The Girls

Mexican girls don’t get a lot of love from many a male traveler. Well, in comparison to other Latinas. Often, that’s due to the square-shaped bodies many perceive they have from too many tacos and enchiladas.

I won’t lie to you, they’re not as attractive as the women in Colombia. Nor are they as interested or friendly as the Peruanas. Plus, online dating isn’t as popular in Mexico as it is in other Latin American countries.

Guys can go to South America and schedule dozens of dates online without much effort. Dating in Mexico seems to take a little more than a few swipes and a couple of copy and paste messages in Spanish – once you get outside Mexico City. But don’t get it twisted. There are enough good looking girls in Mexico to feed the needy. And it’s not that difficult to meet them.

Being a foreigner, especially if you’re from somewhere that’s not the States, still has value here. Aka if you’re from Europe, you’ll get a little extra love in Mexico compared to the gringos.

Here are a few other things I’ve noticed…

Mexico City might be the most liberal big city I’ve visited in Latin America

There’s 23+ million people, complete anonymity, and the culture isn’t that far off from the States. There’s an endless supply of women on Tinder in CDMX and nightlife bumps every day of the week. The average looking girl here isn’t too cute, but the population numbers work in your favor. You’ll definitely find some stunners. There’s a reason many dudes make Mexico City home for months on end. Hell, I met a few dudes that loved CDMX (Mexico City) so much that they lived there for years.

If you speak a little Spanish, you’ll be more than happy with your options here

While it’s not the greenest pasture in Latin America, there’s nothing to complain about when dating in Mexico if you can have a conversation in Spanish. That being said, you’ll get hurt more here than in South America for not speaking Spanish. Most Mexican girls have met gringos before. So, speaking Spanish is an easy way to stand out.

Mexican culture is more conservative than other places in Latin America

You see families on the beach, there’s not that many girls on Tinder and sex tourism isn’t rampant like it is in other countries. If you want a girlfriend, many a smaller city in Mexico will offer solid options for foreigners. For living a savage life, I can’t say you’ll enjoy things as much here like you would in the Caribbean or in Colombia. Well, outside of Mexico City.

Mexico is a country of 120+ million people, so it’s a little harder to put a finger on the looks of girls here

There’s a lot of variance depending on where you are in the country. For ass men, this isn’t like Colombia. I’d surmise it’s nowhere near Brazil. The faces can be stunning here, though. Overall, there’s quality to be found. But I haven’t been here long enough and explored enough cities to give a full on judgment on that side of things.

6. Ideal Visa Situation

I got 180 days on a tourist visa upon arriving in Mexico. While I’m relatively new here, I believe one leaves the country for 24 hours and then can return to get another 180 days on their visa.

Some claim Mexico makes it pretty easy to stay year around on a tourist visa to ensure old gringos living in Mexico can stay as long as they please without issue. For digital expats looking to base up and live in a city long term, this is a significant benefit.

Don’t Discount Mexico

Sure, it’s violent – although that’s a little overblown. Knock on wood. And it’s close to the States, so some appeal isn’t there. But Mexico has a lot to offer digital expats. It’s not Colombia, but there’s no denying the quality of life in Mexico is high when compared to other Latin American locales.

  1. Though I met as many nice Mexicans as bad ones in Phoenix I would not jump over my own mother to live in Mexico.
    Federales are scary too.

      1. JOHN
        Education-
America killed all of its Red Indians because they brought white girls to fuck.
Mexico did not kill the Red Indians and they exist under a Spanish-Irish ruling class and Mestizo middle class in poverty.
Imagine YOUR country was RUN by Andalusian Spanish. That is the position the Mexicans are in and why they flee to America.

        1. Uh, Mexcians slaughtered Indians, not just during the Spanish empire days, but also during the short period of the Mexican empire. Funny thing is, the Mexicans got their asses handed to them by the Comanche and apache Indians. Oh, and the Mexicans were brutal to Indians. Apache War Chief Geronimo: “I have killed many Mexicans; I do not know how many, for frequently I did not count them. Some of them were not worth counting. It has been a long time since then, but still I have no love for the Mexicans. With me they were always treacherous and malicious.”

        2. WES
True but the Mexican coming to the US are poor crazy Indians.
Nobody who looks like Fox or Cruz comes to the US to join a street gang or shoot women.
The Mexicans coming are Aztecs and primitives from the jungle.

        3. J ews run Mexico.
They are Narranos or crypto. It’s ehybthere was an Inquisition. And expulsion ofbthrm from Europe. False conversions. Irish control jack squat in Mexico. They don’t even control Ireland you nitwit.

      2. JOHN
Its great for the European elite that run the place-mostly old colonial Spanish families and a few newcomers during Franco’s era.
For Indians it is nightmarish and only Indians want to come to America.

      3. JOHN
I was in Ireland pre-Celtic Tiger and they all wanted to get to the States.
Nobody would want to shovel shit in South Boston now.

      4. Because there are not jobs in Mexico, that is the main cause. The Mexicans go to USA to work and send money to their families.

        1. Mexico did not kill its Red Indians so they are poor while a few Spanish have all the money and businesses.

      5. they are not sending their best people, so the worst want an easy life in America. There are two types of illegals, the educated middle class one and the uneducated low class poor illegals. 60% of illegal are the educated middle class ones. Those are the Mexicans who get a tourist visa and overstay, the other 40 are the dumb, the Mexican who risk his life in the river and desert. not knowing that there are legal ways to cross the border without risking their life, not very bright. You only need to work one year in the same job, pay your mexican taxes and have a place to live, and you get a tourist visa, then you can pay like 6 dlls for a permit to travel more miles to the north, once you are in a sanctuary city you never return to Mexico, easy as that. The wall is important because it will stop 40% of the stupid Mexicans. Those guy are the most lazy one, whenever you hear that Mexicans are lazy well is because of that guys, BUILD THE DAMN WALL!! they are basically escaping their reality, a Pollero told them that there a dolares in USA and that they will not work, they have kids like rabbits since 14 years old. Trump separating families hahaha those guys leave the wife and kids here in Mexico to starve, is very common for those men to escape their shithole town for a better life in America, they send money maybe a couple of months but then they stop caring. Once they are deported for the most stupid reason, like having sex with a minor or drunk driving, they end here crying like babies for help from their paisanos or end as homeless beggars.

        1. DUNCAN
The really rich Mexicans LIVE in America and commute over the border to work.
I’ve met them and most of them seem to be part Irish. The rich white Mexicans have Irish blood and red hair.

        2. V
The wealthy mexican are White mexicans, from the north of mexico with a spanish or european surname. The shitty mexican are mostly from the south of mexico with brown skin and sombrero. Mexicans are very hateful towards the gringo (most of the world hate americans), but everyone wish to be an american citizen, La Reconquista is not a joke, Mexican really believe they have a birthright to be in the former Mexican territories SOLD to America. We Mexicans are still sore about that.

      6. John, in México, people leave because of the narco-violence (that is in the case of the northern counties, and Guerrero and Michoacán). Other reasons people leave México its because many have family in the US. For some people, going to the US has become a tradition that is passed generation to generation. Then you have that in México the wages are low and the taxes are high. Our currency has been devaluating the last 30-40 years. Thats why in this article, he said México is relatively cheap, because og the type of exchange nowadays.

        1. Lot’s of Mexicans from America actually avoid going to Mexico due to the crime (including gandland style crime) that is often committed against them. White guys have it 10 times easier They’re never targeted. The reality however, is that Latinas, especially in Mexico, are highly skeptical of white guys due to their racist nature and because they see white guys as quintessential betas. Also, Mexican Latinas are not sluts to the same degree they are in places like Brazil/Colombia, etc. They are more chaste, sometimes much more. And if it’s one from the “old country”, firrr get it, we’re taking virgin, locked at the knees. When I was young, no one ever talked about going to Mexico and banging chicks, because it never happened. If you did, it’s because you found someone who was marriage material or she was a prostitute. The other Latin American countries? Different story. As soon as you’d mention a non-Mexican Latina, the assumption was always “whore”, and that you had to “settle”. The truth is, if you’re white (or even Mexican) and travel to Mexico, you’re not going to bang Latinas so easily unless they’re prostitutes.
Tip to white guys, don’t show even 1% of beta behavior. Mexican Latinas despise betas (especially those that don’t/hardly work), which they can smell a mile away. Don’t talk too much, and what ever you say, say it with conviction but respectfully; be classy and gentlemanly, but firm/stoic. Handle everything: where to go, how to get their, what to order, open doors. Don’t burden them with anything you can easily do yourself. Be mindful and respectful of family members, brothers/sisters/ants/uncles/granparents, etc; if you don’t do this, they will lose interest in you quick. Latinas love their families, so family values are usually at the top of the list. If you’re with a Latina at a family gathering and one or more of the men need to go get some ice/beer, or setup the bbq, etc, offer to go with them and help. If someone needs help with their car, be the first one there. A Latina will never get offended if you need to do something manly. Last but not least, never tolerate another man hitting up on your girl. This rarely, if ever happens, but if it does, she will expect you to do something about it. Part of the beta disgust that Latinas have towards white guys is their cuck nature: pimping-out their women/letting friends get away with fucking their girls and just moaning about it. This is all within the context of Latino traditionalism, which is still very much a part of the culture, even among second and third generations. I fee sorry for “American white guy” culture. I really do. American anglo culture has been officially destroyed in my book. Time to think outside of the box.
“Colombia is one hell of a good time. But let’s not beat around the bush here, the cuisine in those countries sucks arse.”
You got that 100% right. No other Latin American country has anything close to the cuisines you’ll find in Mexico. Not only is the food great, the variety is endless. There’s more to Mexican food than just tacos and burritos.
“But what I’ve been impressed with is the seafood.”
Siete mares, coctel de camarones, and all kinds of fish cooked every way imaginable. You’ve not had seafood until you’ve had Mexican seafood. Notice how most seafood never fills you up? Not the case with Mexican seafood. Every gringo should at least have a siete mares. Probably one of the best soups (caldo) you’ll ever have.
          “MEXICAN CULTURE IS MORE CONSERVATIVE”
Another misconception is that Mexicans are by and large, socialist. Absolutely the opposite. There’s a reason why Mexican labor is highly sought after: good old fashioned conservative work ethics.

      7. Only the low-skilled immigrants are trying to move to the USA because of the welfare system and the hope of a better future because you need to remember that these low-skilled immigrants are living under the poverty line.
BUT the middle class and the upper class are the ones that enjoy the most living in Mexico. And you can get the high-quality lifestyle that you need in Mexico for the right price. The only thing you need to live well in Mexico is economic resources.

      8. Poor people with no hope in Mexico come to USA. Rich Mexicans stay in Mexico. Like anywhere in Latin America, if you have money, it’s great.

    1. Mexico is indeed underrated when it comes to the women. Most guys are just too afraid to go and see for themselves. Mexico can be divided in half, the east side by the Gulf of Mexico and the West side. States on the east side like Veracruz and Tabasco are where you will find more ugly indigenous people. States on the west like Senaloa and Jalisco are where you will find gorgeous women. I find Colombia to be overrated and as far as quantity of good looking women Mexico has more. Also Peru has the best food in the Americas Mexico would be a close second.

    2. Mexico is a colossal shithole of a country. The women are BITCHY as hell, the country is dangerous, and I mean REALLY dangerous, especially for white guys and black guys, the food and water can make you have explosive diarrhea because of sewage runoff into fields, something called “Mal de Mayo”, the “sickness of May” (due to rains that flood sewerage into farming areas.
Oh and did I mention the women in Mexico are now HUGELY FAT?
      https://gazettereview.com/2016/06/top-10-fattest-countries-in-world/
Is this an article written about Mexico maybe 30 years ago?? Mexico is much worse today then it was even 30 years back, when the country was much poorer, and yet was a family-oriented Catholic culture. Mexico is now a Progressive leftist country, globalize food supplies, still poor as hell, much more violent, and the women look worse then ever. Fatter then ghetto trash we see in inner cities that have been Mexicanized, like Fresno, Shitcago, or Lost Angeles.

  2. Putting violence in as a sidenote? Idk bro…
I need specifics regarding which areas are super extra safe, especially if you don’t have a car and take uber or walk.
After living in extremely safe parts of Asia where I can leave my apartment and walk the whole city all night without anything likely to happen to me ever my tollerance for sketchy places where you always have to watch your back (pretty much all euro capitals now) is pretty low…

    1. LARRY
The only place similar to Mexico is the Philippines, for the reason that the Spanish and Mexicans went there.
Asia is much safer than Mexico.
I had a roommate who reversed into a school bus in Mexico city and the Feds shook him down for $2000, so you don’t want to really drive in Mexico.
Expensive areas are extravagantly expensive to price out the Mestizos.

      1. I call the Philippines the remedial school version of Latin America

      2. You said:
“Asia is much safer than Mexico.”
I guess you are referring to Southeast Asia. But which country?
Here are some that are safer than Mexico: Japan (obviously) , South Korea, most of mainland China (unless you criticize the government), Taiwan, Laos, Vietnam (just dont criticize the government), Malaysia, Singapore.
Countries that are less than Mexico: the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, East Timor.
I can only speak about the countries I have visited.

    2. LARRY
YOU WOULDN’T BE THAT SAFE IN A PHOENIX BARRIO MUCH LESS IN MEXICO!
One reason is that even Asian toughs are disinclined to really try and fight the average-sized white guy who is 6 foot and 170 pounds unless that white guy is REALLY being an asshole.
In general Asians are not very aggressive.
      Mexicans have nothing BUT aggression.

      1. Koreans, Mongolians and Northern Chinese are brutish motherfuckers and they often have the size to match the attitude.
I hear the Viets are no piece of cake either despite their diminutive frame.

        1. A.J.
          “Brutish attitude”
If somebody had punched me as hard as I punched that Korean (Though he put me in a headlock and I was getting him off) I would have remembered.
Yet when our eyes met in the shopping mall he did not seem to recognize me.

        2. Mongolians, Tatars, Kazakh & most other central Asians are very tough. Central Asians who have mixed with Russians are even more tougher. There is a mixed Russian-Kazakh in boxing who beat the shit out of black kangz lol.

      2. Euro boy here. I presume when you talk about Asians you mean East Asians only. Asians in Europe also include Turks, Afghans, Iranians, Pakis…..who are as aggressive if not more so than Latinos.

        1. BUSTER
          Euro
I’ve heard that said but I was not particularly intimidated by them in London or Frankfurt as a German-American.
Not many white Americans on army bases in Germany are afraid of Turks.
For that matter, these groups are not aggressive in the United States. I do not fear Iranians in California in their neighborhoods and few Irish-Americans in New York are scared of the Pakistani community.
It could be that whites in the US, being from the peasant stock of Europe and growing up around blacks, project a different persona.
But Latin Americans in the US are different. Their violence is paramilitary, more or less.

        2. BUSTER
Eminem is Swiss-German for example but all Americans are essentially unpleasant immigrants and this seems to have an effect on South Asians and Persians in the States.
Or it could be the cops, I don’t know.

        3. @v
“growing up among blacks” is a big factor. The feral American ghetto blacks are the scariest group of humans, barring perhaps the slightly smarter and much better organized mestizo sub-groups like MS13 etc.

        4. NICK
If you are from Detroit and walk past a bunch of UK South Indians trying to ACT BLACK it is almost funny.
You just cannot be that intimidated.

        5. I’m from Detroit, Black and named Nick so I had to comment.
Nothing anywhere else in the world except maybe being stranded in Somalia I find intimidating. I’ve traveled to many countries including bad areas in 3rd world places and didn’t blink twice nor did I have any problems.
And anyone in Europe trying to ACT black would be hilarious and Double hilarious if inside the UK.
          Detroit vs EVERYBODY
I agree with Jake, Mexico is underrated. It’s too close and familiar too Americans to seem exotic. But people are sleeping on Mexico.

      3. Mestizos? What in the world has that to do with facts? I am a mestizo and I am not ashamed to be it. There are not “pure” races this days, and maybe there have never been. All “races” have bred with other than their own. Blacks with hispan8cs, arabas with spanish, black with whites, natives with spanish. Why dont you let down your racist views? Thats why north americans are hated in México like some say. Not everyone of us would like to live in the US. Like the article says, even with a miserable wage you CAN afford a good life here. I would never leave (permanently) my country because of food. Like the article points out, there is a great variety of it. So stop being racist, not every mexican (even if they are what u call “mestizo’) is a criminal, like not every american is a gringo or racist. I ve had the opportunity to visit the US legally (I went to Florida) and I can say that there are many good folk, they help you when you get lost, even one person offered to detour from his route so we can get to our destination. We like man, should support each other. Here feminism is getting stronger too. I think more than in Brazil or colombia.

        1. Most of the Mexicans that commit crimes are not Mestizos, they are Red Indians.
Cubans for example, are called Hispanic, but they are as white as Italians.
I knew a few white Mexicans. They are like normal white people.

      4. The average Mexicans (except for the cartel men) tend to be incredibly humble and hospitable.
However, you need to drive for at least 90 miles from the US-Mexican border to experience the locals hospitality. (Some basic Spanish would obviously help.)
While some Mexican-Americans might have been racist towards you in Phoenix, Arizona…racism is rare in Mexico itself.

        1. Thanks, bro. And yeah, here rascism isnt as palpable as in other countries (Brazil, for example). I do think that no one is better than someone just because the place they were born. Lets judge people by their own merits rather thatn typical stereotypes. I have also known three americans that are very nice persons. They offered themselves to help people who wants to practice their english conversational skills for free. I can certainly read and understand english, and I am Can express myself in english quite decently, but speaking the language is a whole different matter. Lets help each other as men instead of discriminate. Remember fellow men “divide and conquer”.

        2. PETER
Aztecs are not “racist” so much as prone to bursts of primitive violence for no reason.
You’ll just be walking down the road in Phoenix or the Southwest and Aztecs will come at you.

    3. Never been to Latin America so in this case it’s pure pour-parler, said so one of my best buddies when I was living in Hong Kong was a Dutch guy who was literally in love with Mexico. Mexican wife, half Mexican kids, many years spent in the country, fluent Spanish etc. you get the picture…I suspect for him HK was like being exiled in Cayenne or something.
Anyway this guy told me that Mexico was MUCH safer than the US: provided you didn’t feel the need to brown your nose into narco affairs, the level of danger faced when walking down the average street was much lower not only than Rio, Caracas, Bogota etc. but even than Washington DC, Chicago, Baltimore et al. Also, like the author, he repeatedly pointed out the modernity and the relative prosperity of at least the most developed Mexican states.
      PS
A note about crime in Asia: I find the Greater China sphere indeed superb in terms of security, Korea and Japan on the other hand much less so. Sure you won’t get shot, you won’t get robbed and you won’t get sodomized by a roving gang of Afghan hornballs, the threat of some low-level drunk annoyance though seem to be fairly common.

      1. A.J.
Filipinos are more into sneaky crimes-pick pocketing, cons, burglaries. I’ve been robbed 5 times in 3 years that I lived there. One home invasion, one pick pocketing, one attempting mugging at the gate of my subdivision for my laptop.
        “Asians cannot run”
On one occasion some Filipinos chased me in an attempted robbery and the average white can easily outrun the average Asian.
The same cannot be said of blacks.
As for walking through Rio, I’ve heard some horror stories from Americans who went there. One was slashed in a robbery on the beach.
Baltimore and Detroit and South Chicago are essentially foreign countries in the U.S.

        1. Ajeoshi, I was in Miami last year for business trip. I had not been to Miami in like 15 years before that trip and I was STUNNED to see how much nicer Miami is now. I was in Coconut Grove area and not only Miami has improved as a city, it has cleaned up big time.
Puerto Rican’s are extremely RUDE individuals, they are “latinos que son ciudadanos” (Latino people who are US citizens) and they consider themselves “superior” then all other latinos, even born in USA. This si why Miami schools are “gladiator grounds” where Cuban and Puerto Rican gangs fight it all all the time. Jamaicans and Haitians fight it out too in Miami.
But the city of Miami itself as improved by leaps and bounds. Security improved a lot too, many more upscale hotels, and cleaner city too.
If you stay in Collins Ave area/south Beach, you will have a great time. You will be dealing with a lot of Latin types, so unless you like that, stay away.
And yes, Peter is right, the Latina Actresses you see on USA TV or TeleMundo TV are the “cream of the crop”, often light-skinned Latinas or almost purée European ancestry (you see a lot of Argentinian girls and Mexican upper-class in these TV channels). Most Latinas in USA gain a LOT of weight and develop entitled feminist attitudes FAST. Most latinas from TV do NOT represent the average Latina.
Just look at the “immigrant caravans” arriving at our Border all the time. The people are ugly as hell, women are fat, and even the thin ones are just horrific to look at.
The goal with Latina girls in USA is to get them “fresh arrivals” or run the Green Card game I have discussed before, in Orlando with the Brazilian girls. 😉

        2. Great video. I have several of Brazilians executing each other, live, on streaming video.
Think it is nay better in Mexico, papi?? 🙄

      2. A.J.
        1) Mexico sees the U.S. as a place to get rid of its Indian/Mestizo underclass.
        2) I’m not sure if the streets of the US overall are more dangerous than Rio or Mexico City. Mestizos are fairly dangerous in the United States, but then again as you mentioned the U.S. seems to bring out the worst in certain races (Including the Sicilians).
        3) Japan is probably safer than Korea. Koreans are scorned all over Asia. Mongolians are basically American Indians, so I would no sooner go into a Mongolian bar than one on a reservation.

        1. Japan is safer yes but it’s way less safe than people assume, there’s definitely a seedy side to it which is at times kinda surprising as in general it is indeed a very safe place. Like everywhere in Asia though it can switch really fast from beautiful, elegant and modern to downright slummish and crazy.
Question: among the US Mestizos is there a noticeable difference among the various subgroups in terms of patterns of behaviour ? When I was living in NYC everybody seemed to hate on the Ricans pretty hard because of the parade shit.
Yes nobody can stand the k gooks guts in Asia, I wonder how they manage to make their drama, pop music, vidya etc so popular

        2. A.J.
I’d walk through the seediest part of Tokyo before Detroit or Chicago in the day.

        3. Ajeoshi
Over 99% over first generation Latin American immigrants to the US are genuine, hard-working and peaceful. (Despite of some readers here telling you otherwise.
The second generation (grow up in the US) vary a great deal. On my experience most Mexican, Guatemalans, Hondurans etc are mostly ok, with exceptions, of course.
Puerto Ricans (again, talking about the second generation) can be less honest on my experience. And their women do not look like Jennifer Lopez.
Some (not all) US-born Cuban-Americans in Miami can be arrogant and rude but rarely get violent. Outside of Miami, they all behave nicely.

        4. V:
Agree 100% with you, and Rio is after then Mexico City. But if going to Brazil, go to souther Brazil, not Rio or São Paulo. 😉
Mexico and all of Central America “push out” the lowest caliber from their countries into the USA. These poor, illiterate, idiot masses come here for welfare and that helps these countries get rid of this dead weight.
In USA, we have a high-tech service economy that is automating fast, jobs are beginning to vanish that these poor invaders can do here, and yet, the Democrats keep importing more and more of them? Why? These people will become a 3rd class tier, never integrate into America, and become lifetime welfare recipients, which in turns, makes them a natural constituency for the Democrats.
These “best and brightest” we hear about are poor, violent, un-educated poorest of the poor, coming to a country (USA) that neither wants them nor can make the into productive citizens. This is like in Europe, the Globalist elites are trying to make the 1st world into the 3rd, so that we cannot resist their one-world push.
That is what the UN-types, Soros, the Clintons, and the Bushes have been working on for decades.

        1. Clearly, you have never been outside the country.
I=Evenif you stay away from drugs or crime-ridden areas, in a place like Mexico, you get TARGETED by criminals and kidnappers.
Example: in banks in Latin America (including Brazil and Mexico), there are “spotters” that use chalk to mark customers with cash that walk out and they “tag” existing customer gently with a chalk on pocket side where cash is.
You are on the up and up and you just needed some more cash and you are now gonna be robbed at gunpoint. If the robber is on meth, he can shoot you accidentally. Go to one of these 3rd world hospitals and you will WISH you were back in a hellhole like Detroit any day.
So you can be minding your own business and you can get targeted.
Mexico is extremely dangerous country because of horrific sanitary conditions and high crime. Crime states for 3rd world countries is grossly understated. In Brazil, the official #s do not count people cops have to execute and mark the dead, they do not report street kids, they do not report victims of narco-traffickers that kill and you simply vanish.
In Mexico, trouble finds you. You do not need to look for it. It is worse then Brazil, I kid you not. And I have been to both and lived in Brazil 4 long years as teenager.

    4. Larry, it is safer in Rio de Janeiro today then Mexico. And that is saying a lot because BR is dangerous and unstable right now. I kid you not. In Brazil, the girls look better then in Mexico too, much more variety in Brazil.
If you are white or black, in Brazil, you can blend in most cities. In Mexico, white guys (Gringos) get targeted for robbery, kidnapping, and murder. Black dudes get harassed, beaten, and extorted by police FOR REAL, not this BLM bull crap we hear about from the leftist media. If you have Latino appearance, then you get by in Mexico, but for whites and black guys, Mexico is a terrible place.
Mexicans are racist as hell, they have a system in Mexico called “casta” which is the closer to European you are, the higher your ranking in Mexican society. Because of this system, the light-skinned Mexicans get targeted for crime almost all the time, and so do American tourists that venture outside the closed-off resorts.
Bottom line: if you are itching for a Latina, then go to Colombia, which is much safer to travel to then Mexico. And las Colombianas are much hotter too and much less fat then Mexico. 😉 Or if you like adventure and risk, go to Brazil, again safer then Mexico and many girls in Brazil are in such bad financial situation, they will put out for a night out of fun, no questions asked. 🙂

  3. LATIN AMERICA
I would presume that most of the people blogging here are not that keen to live in a U.S. barrio.
Now I’m cognizant of the fact that Mexico basically exports its poor Indians and Mestizos whom it regards as an underclass to get rid of.
But still, it is Latin America. Drug cartels rules the country and even in the 90’s I heard horror stories from my roommate about Federales.
Also, some Mexicans dislike Americans. Of course everyone does and my reason for living in Ontario and obtaining a post-graduate degree there was to fake being Canadian overseas.
Still, Mestizos are spooky. The place is run by competing syndicates of drug cartels. Violence is worse than Chicago.

    1. Well. Certainly, yes. Violence is the biggest issue we have in México this days. It is thanks to the government agenda, because they are coluded to certain drug cartels. México’s government is stupid in many, many ways. Many of its institutions are significantly corrupt (policía municipal, Federales, the mexican army). All this bastards work for the narco cartels. They are human scum bags. Our government let them trafick with drugs with the US in exhcange for weapons. The US and europe is the other side of the coin of the narco violence. Those are the biggest drug Markets in the World. Too many cokeheads and potheads in the US. Marijuana is still illegal here, not even in Ciudad de México. Although all potheads, pseudo-leftists and liberals have been protesting for its legalization. It is unlikely it would ever be legal.

  4. Mexico is trash. Shame on you if you actually believe your words. USA

      1. There you go using the word white and trash again. It’s a JU thang. Just admit it

    1. You are trash. And yes. Here are many retired rednecks and white trash.

      1. JOHNNY
Cortez and the Spanish were mostly the white trash of Andalusia and Spain kicked them out.
Most whites who move to Mexico are junkies and redneck trash.

        1. Yes, I do know. The people that csme from spain where hoodrats and ex-cons. Same thing as Brazil. And to some extent the US case.

        2. Europe flushed their sewers in 1492 and expelled all j ews. Many went to Mexico. Others to N Africa and S America.
Many got rich in slave trading. And usury. You know this because you’re a tribe member. Just no balls to admit it.

        3. JOHNNY
          “Hood Rats”
Mostly debtors, penniless nobleman to proud to work, prostitutes.
As for Brazil, I asked a Brazilian and he told me that Portugal had deported the vagrants and drunks.

  5. If I had to pick a country in Central America to stay for extended amount of time it would have to be Costa Rica. A lot of the younger women know some english and are friendly. There is endless things to do if you are the outdoors type and seems about as safe as any major US city. Just avoid the Carribean coast , that is where most of the crime in the country is and where you the blacks live at. Sticking to the central valley/ pacific coast is a good place to start.

    1. I was in Costa Rica about 8 years ago and was warned by Costa Rican people not to visit the east (Caribbean) coast because of crime.

  6. I’m a Latino and not even I can stand Mexicans. Their accent sounds absolutely disgusting, painful even, to my ears.
Their women are ugly for the most part. Walking burritos, as some might say.
That country can get nuked for all I care.

    1. CUCK
Well are you a Spaniard or an Indian?
A purely Spanish girl from Mexico City who look like Penelope Cruz is hot.

    2. CUCK
“Latino” means nothing. Basically the dangerous people in Latin America are the Indians and Mulatto or half-Indians.

    3. Not all the mexicans have an accent like you said. Maybe youre just a fag that got jumped some cholo. That is why you are so butthurt. Cholo just rob cuck and weak boys. It is easier to rob them because after all they are weaks and are easily scared. They dont put up a fight. You just aint street (or life) smart.

        1. Yeah, I was talking to cuckslayer. Look like he is a cuck himself. Maybe he is envious or resentful.

        2. JOHNNY
The Mayans seem a bit different but the Aztecs are tough and sadistic and look like Danny Trejo.

  7. you can easily get kidnapped in mexico. happens all the time!
if you dont know anybody (preferably an authority) from in their gang or cant pay the prize for your life, they take your head.

    1. we need a clip “THIS IS MEXICO” full of symbols with some chubby faggot rapper singing in a warehouse.

    2. In many ways, it is. But the same can also be said of many other so called “first World” countries. Like the US. Too many shitty transgenic shittynd fast food. Not to mention the bitchy attitudes w9men possess and mant fellows have been claiming in RoK

  8. As someone who has lived in Mexico, Arizona and various countries in SA, I’d say this article is very accurate. I loved many things about living in Mexico (6+ years full time, then many weekend visits), particularly the food, but a few things really got to me:
In many (but not all) Mexican cities, the policia are much more corrupt than you’d prefer. They constantly target / harass gringos. As such, ALL policia are to be avoided. I’ve learned to never approach, talk to, or even look at Mexican cops. In contrast, the cops in Colombia (Bogota, in particular) tend to be like polite tourist guides — always very helpful and respectful (they’ve come a long way since the 1980s!). Same is true for Ecuador, never a problem or concern.
In terms of construction, nothing ever gets finished because there always seems to be property tax benefits to leaving houses unfinished with ugly rebar sticking out everywhere. As such, many areas within Mexican towns and cities tend to be eye-sores and lack that really quaint feeling you can easily find in South American cities. Also, garbage (refuse) tends to be worse in Mexico because the people really have an “eat / drink, then drop” attitude. And for some reason, Mexico seems to have a real shortage of garbage cans and garbage collection services compared to other Latin countries.
There are a few other things that bothered me over the years also, but Mexico is a big and diverse country, so obviously a person’s experience can vary tremendously. But the author’s point is very well taken: Mexico does provide many options to Gringos for beach-side living that are affordable and relatively safe with (sometimes) great modern amenities. And although Mexican chicas cannot compete with Colombianas and Vens, they are solidly “middle of the pack” when it comes to South America latinas.
However, if you’re not really interested in beach-side living, don’t care too much for spicy or super flavorful cuisine, and your Spanish is at least moderate, then Colombia, Ecuador and Peru offer better all-around lifestyle options compared to Mexico, particularly if you are an adventurous bachelor on somewhat of a budget. Just my 2 cents.

  9. – Mexico City is a NYC-esque shithole
    – The majority of Mexican women are ugly and out of shape
    – Violence and crime is rampant; you will be targeted for ransom as a foreigner
    – Government corruption ensures you won’t have anyone to lean on when the country’s flimsy economy collapses
Why bother? Asia and Europe have many more suitable alternatives.

    1. JIGGY
I was mugged by one Mexican in Phoenix and another stared at me at a condo and said to another Mexican “I don’t like this guy” though he never came close to me or talked to me and another time I was followed on the street by Cholos.
NYC shit hole. I think the Hispanic barrios are worse in the Southwest or Latin America because in the Northeast they are Anglicized to a degree.
Down in Arizona they are Indian cutthroats.
My roommate was shaken down by Federales in Mexico City.

      1. Many Italian men are crazy about Latinas and are fond of Latin “culture” in general because Italy is a very boring, conservative place full of old farts. For many Italians Santo Domingo, Cuba, Acapulco, Colombia etc. are like the land of freedom and fun.

  10. live in Ensenada, most of the folk crying about the violence are pussies, there is much more violence in Los Angeles or any other major city in America. If you go looking for trouble you are bound to find it no mtter where you are . As for the local authorities, if you get into trouble, just tell them to take you to the police station. They try those scare tactics to shake you down for money, but you will be surprised how cheap the fines are. I once met an American here who was caught with Coke and week while driving drunk. The cops shook him down for 400 usd. So yeah, nothing to sorry about unless you want to act like a dumb ass.

    1. Nobody is cutting 4 heads off and leaving them on the roads everyday in Los Angeles.
In Mexico it is possible to stay away from Indians if you have money because the society is built on building walls to keep them out whereas the US is somehow more egalitarian so you will run into Mestizos on the street who would be relegated to shanties in Mexico.
Also, the US gets the Aztecs or whatever other Indians are down there whereas in Mexico city most of them are Spanish-Irish.
You’ll never see a Mexican who looks like Penelope Cruz in Los Angeles, they are Indians like Danny Trejo.

  11. I was a little surprised when I read that you eat a lot of snapper, then you mentioned your yoga studio. Probably eat lots of arby’s too?

  12. Cant take Latin American countries with the culture of theft that seems to be in their blood. Hence why most areas look like cagesprisons, have to keep the human rats out while you run to store.

    1. DOWN UNDER
In all fairness Oz has had its Anita Cobbs and Choppers and Dinos in the Melbourne suburbs.

    2. If foreigners Read stories about Detroit they’d think that America was pretty violent.

  13. I’m actually looking at Belize for retirement. They speak English there and living is cheap-ish.
I’d love an article on cheap, civilized places to retire young.
A pace with attractive bitches who like older white guys would be a bonus.
I hear that Croatia doesn’t extradite to the USA, which may be a benefit, depending on your situation.

    1. WS
      Belize is extremely dangerous.
I visited both Rwanda (in Africa) and Belize.
I felt safer in Kigali than in Belize City.

  14. IDK, I still haven’t run out of cute, fun, mildly slutty women here yet.
Maybe when I turn 50 and college girls quit inviting me over.

  15. I rented a condo in Cancun for a few weeks outside the Hotel Zone during the holidays. Many Mexican women have a charm to them. Not to the same extent as Filipino women, but a nice charm nonetheless, that is completely lacking in most anglo women. Don’t get me wrong, I like anglo women too. But they lack the charm that Mexican women have.
Mexico is, indeed, more of a developed country than an undeveloped country. You can buy pretty much anything you want at the stores and the internet service and speeds are the same as the U.S.
My problem with much of Mexico is the drug cartel-fueled violence that makes large areas of Mexico off-limits to safe living. That violence, which is entirely driven by the drug habits of U.S. nationals, seems to be increasing over time. That, and the fact that the policia can be corrupt, are the only two issues I have with Mexico. Other than that, I think Mexico is a good place.

    1. I don’t mean to be an ass but this is the first time in my life somebody use the words charm and Filipino in the same sentence.

      1. Ajeoshi…I do not always agree with your comments but this one was funny as hell.

        1. Thanks I do hold harsh opinions but I try not to take anything, starting with myself, too seriously: It’s the only way to cope with our bizzarro world 🙂

      2. Having been to the Philippines, I stand by my comment about Filipina women. Many of them have an irrepressible charm that makes it impossible to adore them.

  16. as a tip I would advise to avoid all border cities (from tijuana to matamoros) they tend to have high crime rate, also avoid cities with high oil industries (oils wells, or oil refineries) not good looking and more expensive. and about crime rate most of the murders is between drugs cartels and police (but I don’t deny that there are civil casualties) and don’t leave the common sense in the states, if something looks fishy walk away.

  17. i laugh so loud when the author says best food in latin america.
Mexican food is a joke. put some Salad, corn, green/red pepper and meat, and here you are, mexican food. Well oh original.
Sorry, there’s nothing to compare with great traditionnal cooking like french food.
And by the way, this country is located between a sea and an ocean, and nobody is able to tell me ONE world-known fish based mexican traditionnal food.
    A joke, i said.

  18. I’ve been to a few different cities in Mexico and dealt with a couple local women out there so here’s my two cents…
Food is excellent. Especially if you like spicy. You can get food pretty fresh out there too or have the option of chain supermarkets, like H.E.B if you want. Far as Latin American cuisine, it’s probably at the top for me. I loved the food in Chile, and I do like Argeninian/Uruguayan/Brazilian steakhouses, although I’ve only been to these in the states. 100% accurate about first world ammenities, beaches are excellent, especially in and around Cancun. Beach in Veracruz was so-so. But Riviera Maya, Playa Del Carmen, all top notch. Cost of living seemed to be low, but it’s all relative to your job.
    The Women
I’ve had two experiences with women out in Mexico and although neither amounted to anything in the form of a relationship, overall they were good experiences for a variety of different reasons. First girl was a solid 7-8 from Mexico City. Not wealthy, but not poor. Met her in Cancun when I was 21, she was 19. Had a long-distance thingie for about a year and a half. I was doing my thing back in the states, and I’m sure she was too down in Mexico. However when I flew down, we acted as a couple. Sweet girl, dad died young, and was a lot of fun. She took the submissive role from jump. Ultimately it fizzled as distance does, and we loosely kept contact over the years. Last I heard she has two kids and a husband and seems to be doing well. Fast forward almost 11 years later, and I meet another one in Las Vegas airport coming home from my brothers bachelor party. (I’m in the airline industry now so discounted flights anywhere in the world is easy for me). This girl is an easy 9, fitness freak, strikingly similar in appearance to the girl with the Mexican flag tank top in this article. In other words, right in my wheelhouse. This girl lived in the north of Mexico (not a border town though) and does well for herself, owning a little gym and having a nice apartment in a nice area of the city with a nice car and a cleaning lady to boot. I saw her 4 times in a 3 month period, with the last time not ending on good terms, but hey, c’est la vie. There are a lot of stunning girls in Mexico, especially facially. They don’t have quite the curves naturally as a Colombian or Puerto Rican or Dominican, but with diet, squats, and a good boob job (as the last one I had, did), they are easily in the upper aesthetic echelon in Latin America. They dress sexy and classy, in a less provocative way then Caribbean Latin girls or Colombians, generally speaking. Look at most of the Spanish soap operas, an over whemingly majority of those girls are Mexican. What’s nice about Mexico is, the majority of it is safe, you don’t have nearly as many fat people as the US, food is great, and you don’t have to look at ANY Ta’Shaundrick Washington types with their pants pulled down to their ankles with the “products of their environment” attitudes and “we didn’t land on Plymouth rock, Plymouth rock landed on us” mantra. What I will say about a lot of Mexican girls, especially the ones who are more well off, is that a lot of them have the feminist bullshit mentality, and they are very influenced by the US, especially when it comes to mainstream media, pop-culture, etc. I can see Mexico going the way of the US eventually with degeneracy as the older generation die off. Another thing, these 2 girls didn’t speak a lick of English. My Spanish is somewhere between moderate and fluent, and most situations are fine for me. However, I cannot express myself quite the same as I do in English, because well, it isn’t my native tongue.
I can write for days on this, but in short, definitely an under the radar place. Sexy women with overall nice demeanor, food is excellent, the US dollar still is respectable there, and you don’t deal with or see half the nonsense there that you see in the US. Give it a crack, gents.

  19. Especially if u happen to be a drug carteleiro, then yes Mexixo is extremely underrated!

  20. Name me the good things Mexico has brought to the table? How has this third world sh1thole improved the world at all?

    1. We sent tye drugs you firstworlders crave. And we buy your s h i t t y products (weapons, clothes, electronics). We provided the world with corn, tomatoes, vainilla, cacao or chocolate. What does your country has brought to the table (besides war, feminism, and racist theories).

      1. Lol what an incompetent response. Derp, we make drugs and tomatoes derp. All your “drugs” are so low quality theyre basically useless compared to other races illicit substances. Bottom of the barrel trash thats been cut with god knows what to stretch out an 1/8th to make an ounce. And speaking of produce, I cringe everytime my fruit/veggies label says Hecho en Mexico, cuz thats about a 50/50 chance of getting Ecoli, since the vatos cant walk to the porta potty so they just shit in the field and keep pickin tomatoes. Ive lived & worked side by side (not my choice) with taco benders for 30 years in the Sw region lad, I see their level of standards & its almost like livestock. Shitting & eating in the same troph. What we do recieve thou from our southern brothers is disease, crime, burdened welfare, education, over loaded prisons etc.

        1. Demasiado, I dont give a damn if the drugs are low quality, I am n0t consuming or producing them. Fact is in the US, the macdonald stuffers kfc transgenic eaters drugs are highly demanded. You do know you have to wash and desinfectate vegetables, right?Seriously, you still living in the XIX century with all your race discourse, “derp”. Get over with Darwin already. Besides, the question its still there. What does your country has provided besides wars, feminism and racism?

        2. No amount of your supplicating is going to counteract decades of my observing these peoples’ intrinsic attributes. The absence of principals & morals almost rivals the defensive justifications for such & such behaviors they have no problem performing. Correlating as such the same reasoning you are attempting to convince yourself that I’m incorrect in my accusations. So keep trying to shift the burden, it only exhibits your own inferior inadequacies. Im done with you. Ps your debate is all over the place, not unlike the way you people drive 😄

      2. Mexico also provided some good boxers, tbh.
Even thou some of them cheat like a little bitch

    2. Demas,
Burritos, I love them, and tacos …. that’s two good things Mexico brought to the table.

  21. Visited Mexico five years ago as a tourist. (Travelling with a non-US passport at the time). Allow me to reflect on the points the OP made.
    1. Food
It’s relative. I personally don’t like overly spicy or seasoned food. Some regional varieties of food tend to be less spicy which is good but those are exception tot he rule.
    2. Amenities.
In large parts of Mexico City and some tourist spots, yes. Other of those areas, not so much. Mind you, even the third-world standard, poorer areas does not automatically equal dangerous places (albeit it should be avoided if possible). These are as are likely to be safer for you than the ghettos of Detroit, Philly, Indianapolis etc some areas in the east side of London, UK. That said, use your common sense. Do not wonder around in remote areas (despite the natural beauty of some regions of Mexico) – in several states drug cartel have cannabis and poppy fields – stay away from those areas.
    3. Beaches
Only if you are happy to be around Spring Breakers and the sort.
    4 Low Cost of Living
This is true for many things.
    5. Girls
The Mexican beauty standards Americans tend to know from “telenovelas” are from the ” White” Mexican minority (around 10-12% of the population. )Unlike in Peru or Bolivia, as an expat or tourist, you won’t have access to those girls in Mexico
Most girls tend to be descendants of indigenous cultures (Aztec, Maya etc) or are “Mestizas” (mixed native Mexican and White.) many of them would possibly date/marry you,the gringo, particularity if you are not from the US .
    6. Visa situation
I only stayed fro three weeks. never considered staying longer than that. Albeit would definitely visit again.
In short – Mexico is worth a visit. To stay there as an expat?Probably not. Nevertheless, it may work for some of the readers.

  22. Please don’t come to Mexico, seriously. We had enough of nasty and drunken gringos that want to do whathever stupidity they are not allowed to do in their country.

    1. Very true bro. Many gringos came here to do hard drugs. Escuché de un lugar (no recuerdo el nombre) al aue van a ingerir hongos alucinógenos y hay muchos árboles frutales. No recuerdo si era en puebla o en Oaxaca.

  23. Helleerrrt!
Mexicans hate Gringos! When you go to Mexico, they expect you to adapt to their culture. No so when they come to the US. They create Mexican enclaves where only Spanish is spoken…why would you want to live amongst those they hate you?

    1. Well, here people is also adopting american culture patterns (mainly consumerism). G9d damn people so fucking excited to see the new avengers movie.Netflix services have become very common. Big malls, american brands (walmart, home mart, sams, sushi itto, american eagle, abetcrombie, etc). We dont expect you to adapt to our culture. You come from a different part of theworld, with different views on life, world, people, politics, religion, philosophy, women, masculinity and so on. And yes, we do hate gringos. But not every US citizen is a gringo. Do you even know what is the content for the “gringo” concept?

      1. JOHNNY
It used to mean U.S. army but you would use the word to describe German tourists because they are not half-breed Indians.
Italian-Americans are technically “gringo” but you cannot tell them from Castizos so you might think an Italian-American was some rich local Mexican until you heard his accent.

      2. Any american is a gringo (An insult to be sure, but one with a modicum of respect), and mexicans are adapting to american culture (like any other country) because of globalism, and new telecomunication technologies (like the internet) it just happens that most of the media is produced in english, music, movies, best-sellers, almost anything you can name, so naturally anyone nowadays has more contact with the english language than before, I have even heard some limpia parabrisas used some english phrases (badly pronounced but anyway)-

  24. I know some annoying self-righteous Anglo bitch who is into all the leftist moral crusades of our time.
Except I’m at her place one day and she offers me some cocaine.
Cocaine; the most morally filthy thing you could buy–fuelling an entire dark economy of slavery, torture, murder, cartels, and impoverishing corruption for ordinary people in third world countries.
    Leftists are such disgusting hypocrites.
Watch Hell Across the Border on youtube:

    1. You, sir are completely right. Here the so called “leftists”, “liberals” and “femiturds” are against the state, narco and drug deals and the violence it produces. On the other hand, they are the typical middle or upper-class junkies that live in very exclusive districts. They are who finance this shit storm and yet they dare to protest against it. Fuqing hypocrites.

      1. Why is Spain safe?
Spain is relatively safe so why is Latin America so dangerous?
        Is it the Indian?

        1. V Guys here like to praise the asian race because of its supposed higher IQ, guess what fella native americans are asian, they are classified as asians in forensics, their skulls are the same, they have asian eyes etc. Sure they had a moronic religion (they sacrificed people but so did the celts until the romans came) but they really developed impressive stuff, and also we must remember that meseoamerica was an isolated culture (no horse that allows the migration of knowledge like in Eurasia). So why is Mexico so dangerous? it is complicated, first remember that when the Spaniards came Mexico was a sprachbund even bigger than Europe, that means many ethnic groups, not a single homogeneized society. Long story short, Mexico is a good example of why an homogeneized society functions better, the Spaniards, as somebody above said, were not the only ones who massacred Indians, the Mexican goverment also did it. How are you supposed to cooperate with your goverment if it is destroying your culture and way of life? As the Mexican writer Octavio Paz once wrote, in a very poetic way . “The Mexican does not want to be either an Indian or a Spaniard. Nor does he want to be descended from them. He denies them. And he does not affirm himself as a mixture, but rather as an abstraction: he is a man. He becomes the son of Nothingness. His beginnings are in his own self.- “The Son’s of La Malinche”

        2. I’ve pressed white Mexicans who look like Saul the boxer and you’d be surprised how many have Irish roots.

        3. “Sure they had a moronic religion (they sacrificed people”
They didn’t sacrifice anyone. All nonsense lies that the Spaniards told so they could justify their rape/robbery and pillage.

      2. JOHNNY
You send your Aztecs and most of the problems in your country are because of Aztecs or half-Aztec.
        Aztecs are wild Red Indians.

        1. The aztecs (or rather mexican Indians, something that is taken out of context here is that much of Mexican indians were not aztec and in fact they hate the aztecs, and were and important part in the cconquest of Mexico, helping Cortez take their cities.) saw what the white man in America is seeing today, the destruction of their communities, way of living and cosmovision. This undeniable has consequences in the psyque of the people who pass throught this period, defeatism, lack of morals, low-self self esteem is what follows. I mentioned all this because I dont buy the “Indians are dumb” myth, nor I am saying “europeans are evil” but we can all imagine what would be like to pass trhought something like this, just put yourself in that situation and tell me if it wouldn’t have been demoralising. As I said yes they did have a morronic religion, but so did the celts in europe, in fact if there is something that seems to have “civilized” both cultures was roman law and roman customs.

      3. v, I agree.
On some level you can blame this vicious savagery on the innate nature of the Aztec mestizo.
There is even good historical evidence to make that case.
But none of that would ever excuse ur typical wilfully ignorant drug-using degenerate of the West.
These people, through their selfish hedonism, directly contribute to a plague of vicious savagery so rampant in Mexico, and other places in South America.
They will get theirs in the hereafter for the misery their selfishness causes other people.
The chemical hazards of a drug are the least harmful part, the moral pollution to your soul; irredeemable in this life.

If you ever saw a guy whose been hooked on crack for 4 months in Detroit you’d agree that none of them need wait long.

  25. JOHNNY
The white can get along with the Arab, Asian or East Indian but the Red Indian or Native or Indio is a primitive like Daniel Trejo.
The Mexicans cause problems in the United States who are Aztecs because this is the most primitive and dangerous tribe of Red Indians, or one of them.
Same with Colombians who tore apart Miami in the drug wars-they are Indians or half-breeds.

  26. JOHNNY
I do blame Canadians for shit that happens in Detroit and you should not blame Americans.
The Andalusian Spanish who own Mexico are the reason for the Aztec and Mixed-Blood condition, not Anglo-Saxons in Ohio.
You are in the situation you are in because of Spain.

  27. CHICANO vs. WHITE IMMIGRANT
I should be clear that the average US Chicano has been America 4 x as long as Donald Trump, whose father is from Germany.

  28. I’d chime in because I’ve lived in a lot of these places that are mentioned above but I really have nothing to contribute. Therefore I will just have a chuckle from some hilarious comments here.

  29. besides from the problems going on in venezuela its the best country to visit on a low budget.
you can live aristocratic for 400 bucks a month. hot prostitutes will go for as low as 3 bucks if thats your thing.
if youre comming down its best someone shows you around though

  30. Mexicans and white Americans marry each others’ women at about the same rates… there isn’t a drastic imbalance as with blacks with men or East Asians with women.
And Mexicans no longer emigrate to the U.S. in huge numbers — OTM (other-than-Mexican) Hispanics do, though: Salvadorans, Guatemalans, Hondurans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, and Cubans (until January 2017).
“MEXICAN CULTURE IS MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN OTHER PLACES IN LATIN AMERICA”
A little-known fact is that religiously, Mexico is the Poland of Latin America. The whole region is historically Catholic, but Mexico is the only country where they actually take Catholicism seriously. As far as gringos go, Mexican women are more open to gringos who are either Catholic or who at least aren’t anti-Catholic.

  31. “On some level you can blame this vicious savagery on the innate nature of the Aztec mestizo.”
If so, how do you explain the existence of the mestizo and the absence of the Aztec culture ?? The Euros exterminated some hundreds of millions of them…….
And then claim in the history books that it was caused by “disease” – (white man lies since not even the Black Plague had those levels of lethality).
Latin American savagery is a an inheritance from the European- the white- the Spanish.
    Genocide is a European/white phenomenon.

  32. This article is nonsense. It is the type of tripe you read in a magazine that sells dreams. I lived and worked in Mexico for a year and traveled widely throughout the country.
Girls are only sexy until about 24 then start gaining weight. Rare to find a slender one by late twenties. a
Most food is mediocre. Mexicans have horrible work ethics and little attention to detail. (A Mexican doctor I became friends with complaints regularly about Mexico’s “culture of mediocrity”). The food is almost uniformly bland but spiced up with chillies and Thai hot sauce. It was a shock to the senses after experiencing the wealth of good food in the US and Thailand. Reportedly, Lima is the culinary hotspot of Latin America.
Travel in Mexico is not near as cheap and provides far lower value for the dollar than in Asia and central Europe.
There is very low English proficiency outside major tourist resorts and the upper crust and the upper crust is very snobby and racist.
Mexicans complain that the whole society is corrupt from top to bottom and do not trust other Mexicans outside of family. You would be wise to follow their examples.

  33. I will be 72 in less than 4 weeks. I found out all about Mexico when I was about sixteen.
A buddy and myself took off from Garner State Park in Texas and went to Ciudad Acuna and then down to Piedras Negras. Beautiful country but about seventy years behind what I had been used to on the northern side of the Rio Grande. In most of the border towns at the time, all sorts of criminal activity were a way of life, though in those days it wasn’t that dangerous for a gringo to visit there. Most of the people seemed friendly and congenial enough. But they were not a particularly physically attractive race. Walking down the street in any border town a young American male would be sexually accosted every ten feet. We went to a bordello one evening and the girl I took a liking to, Luisa, turned out to be still nursing her child of six months.
I made several trips down there, even going down to Mexico City and to the Yucatan.
The people are friendly enough, but corruption is rife and you scrape off the varnish and everything is sooooo filthy. No for me, Mexico is a filthy country, I always get sick from eating in any restaurant down there. Mexican immigrants to the States should be vetted. And then given a good washing up and be made to attend civics classes to learn about Yankee values.

  34. A lot of white Mexican women are beautiful and they tend to have feminine grace. I believe if you find a right one from the country side, she’d make a great wife. When I was learning Spanish I used to watch telenovelas and I was amazed by the beauty of white Mexican women. When you look at the country as a whole however, only about 10% of the population of Mexico is white and the rest look like they are from a separate species. If I go to Mexico, I’d go there primarily for enjoying Mexican food and drinks.

  35. Wow can’t believe the ignorance level of these comments. Most people talking shit are:
    1. Quoting media outlets
    2. Making stuff up
    3. Repeating some overheard story without knowing all the details.

    1. Let me add another one:
      4. People who have never left their country/Never have travelled

  37. The US just issued a travel warning to US citizens about Mexico. According to a quick search, its the second most violent country in the world. As a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair, I feel like I’d have a target on my back the whole time. Of all the countries in Central/South America, Mexico is the last place I’d go.
Then again I’ve never been out of the US
